We went to this place as it was round the corner from our hotel and it was rather late and this was still open. When my husband said takeaway pasta I did not have the highest hopes but was certainly proven wrong!
As well as takeaway they had an outdoor seating area to eat in which we did, the waiter was very friendly and welcoming and the app to view the menu was easy to navigate. Enjoyed a prawn pasta very much wirh aroconi balls, the additional touches like mini garlic bread and deserts each were lovely and not expected! Great value also

Don't be misled by the exterior appearance of this restaurant. The garlic buns were delicious - we ordered an extra set. The pasta dinners were great and the artisan cocktails were terrific. With our limoncello digestif they served a tiny homemade pastry with a pineapple custard filling, with a mini-slice of dried pineapple on the side. Exquisite! The prices were good, and the service was superb as well. We'll return next time we're visiting!

Small, unassuming, and in a location that is kind of away from any major attractions.
Found it as we were staying at a hotel next door. But definitely worth a visit!
Our server Paolo was great: friendly, attentive, and efficient.
The food was simple but tasty. The small complimentary garlic bread and dessert cookie were nice touches and very appreciated!

The owner was our waiter on the two occasions. (I’ve misplaced his name)
The sincere level of hustle with flare and detail only turned into more joy when our delicious meals arrived.

What fun to discover this small eatery close to my hotel on Calle 48 in San Jose Owner Marco, a transplant from the USA hosts this little establishment with recipes he learned from his family. Pasta is excellent and you see how much care goes into each and every dish. Great chicken cutlet also!!

The place is amazing, the attention has been always the best.
Food portions are just right and all the times I've gone they have always given me courtesy dishes.
Coctels are the best, you should try them.
My favorite dish is the Caribbean Pasta, never tried something like that before.
Definitely the best Italian food in town.
The staff extremely friendly, I guarantee you will have a great experience, don't hesitate to try.

Incredible Italian restaurant… we loved the infused drinks, authentic cooking, and use of local foods. The service was excellent and very affordable prices. My favorites included the strawberry mojitos and the El Casado Italiano dinner. What a fun place to eat!

From the moment we sat down, the service, ambience and meal was over the top. To start, we were offered their complimentary home made mini garlic bread which was fresh and delicious. Everything is fresh including the fruit for our smoothie which was the best we have had since arriving in Costa Rica.
The server explained the menu to us and the more popular choices. We went with the “married” option, choice of salad, pasta and chicken. We chose the Caribbean shrimp pasta and ravioli of which both were fabulous.
As we enjoyed our meal, we listened to relaxing oldies music which made us feel as if we were in Italy. At the end, we were offered a home made shortbread cookie, rounding out the palette. Overall a wonderful meal, excellent service… an evening to remember!

Amazing food, taste and presentation.
The treatment of the collaborators has been the best, the kindness and care in doing things has been impeccable. The ingredients used are the freshest and the quality very high. The ration price product goes even a great meal for a lower price than would normally be paid. The drinks have been delicious especially the Margarita de Maracuyá cocktail. Definitely the best restaurant in San Jose.

We had a delicious dinner @Pasta Pronto. The El Casado Italiano Clásico and the Chicken Combo was really nice and the portion size was good. The service was very obliging. We get an appetizer a mini garlic bread, caprese salad to try and a desert cookie were not expected. The prices were good.

Visiting this Italian gem in Costa Rica was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance (Sinatra playing). The lunch Angus burger was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and paired perfectly with refreshing mojitos (best i've ever had). But the true stars of the show were the Italian classics – the spaghetti and meatballs, Alfredo pasta, and spinach ravioli were all crafted with authentic ingredients and impeccable skill, transporting my taste buds straight to Italy. And let's not forget the mouthwatering shrimp tacos and rezito balls, which added a delightful twist to the culinary journey. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable dining experience! Marco's (owner) professionalism and warmth elevated our dining experience to new heights, leaving a lasting impression. I'm not exagerrating he was amazing!! I ate here about 6 time while visiting, it was that good.

Very comfortable, small outdoor seating area. Marco(owner) gives each patron personal attention and provides great information and services. I enjoy the great Italian food, where my wife might not be as hungry and a great alternative menu is available., i.e. fish tacos.

When something is done "Right" it doesn't take a whole lot of words to express, you've just experienced something AMAZING!!!! From the customer service, to the food, the owner really pays attention to the details to help ensure each customer feels the love that's put into each meal!! Simply put: If you want to Eat GOOD, Eat Here!!! ....( side note: the food was so Freaking good, we forgot to take our photos, lol) ☺️

Carlos our server was very polite and detailed. He went through the menu with us and gave us the English menu to browse. His gave us each a piece of the garlic bread for free and we got a free jam cookie at the end of the meal also. They put lime around the rim of the water glass. The Royal Lemonade is the bomb! Excellent taste and size. The chicken combo with a salad of your choice and pasta of any choice is also good as you get we try more item from the menu. The chicken Parmesan I chose was also descent. Overall experience is very welcoming and they tried the best to present the food. We sat outside and the music was very retro 50-60’s, fits to a good night of dining.

The service was great he has given the best attention I’ve ever received 🤍 about the food… u can just tell how much they care about their costumers, it’s just beyond delicious! I’ll be definitely coming back and I’m recommending this restaurant to everyone I know. Best way to celebrate my birthday🥰
