Great coffee, super friendly and helpful. Spoke and understood English very well. Loved the garlic bread! I'm coming back for the full breakfast tomorrow.

What a find! A beautiful cafe with the best iced coffee I’ve had in Costa Rica! I had avocado toast with sauteed mushrooms and arugula, and my husband had a delicious omelette. He also got a coconut/ginger/mint smoothie that was amaing. The cafe is relaxed...and has games to pass the time. In the garden was Spirit, a young woman with her handmade skin care products- all of which smelled amazing. I bouht her recommendations and we had a lovely chat. She runs Chiquita Cahuita a monthly farmers market with artisanal products. We will definitely be back!More

I have to say I was a little disappointed after the reviews I'd seen As a few have mentioned, you have to wait a little before being tended to and served but it wasn't overly long, it just felt as though the waitress had better...things to do, I don't think I saw her smile, definitely not the usual Costa Rican greeting I'm used to, but we all have off days Food wise, they have a variety of options including vegan but for me, it wasn't anything special but it filled a hole - I'm not sure if I'd go back though tbhMore

We arrived after 4 hours of driving from San José, and the service was terrible. It's understandable how many people there were in Limón, but the restaurant has been there for 3 months and there weren't that many people. The bad thing is the treatment. I asked for water since I arrived and it arrived 1 hour later, and the food took 1 hour. Yes, one hour! The eggs arrived re-cooked and the response was: it's not just your eggs we're making, right? I asked if it was possible to give more coffee to my husband who was going to eat with a coffee that was already cold, they told me no so I said it doesn't matter, Cortez would be serious about giving a refill for the 1 hour wait but it doesn't matter I'll pay for it. Anyway, they never brought it. When I told the egg girl, she said: you should understand the situation... to which I responded: waiting 1 hour sitting here for water and food is not understandable? There was no apology, there was no replacement of eggs, of coffee, but!!! If there was a deal as if we were not paying!More

Aroma Coffee Bar and Breakfast is great spot to try before or after exploring Cahuita National Park. We drove by on the way in to the park and hoped that it wasn't a tourist trap. Definitely not! We ended up going there afterwards, and the...mango spring rolls and tico wrap were so fresh and flavorful. We love to eat our way through Costa Rica. So after having a snack here, we went over to Cahuita's Taste for another bite and a local Cahuita-made cider. We'll be back next time we're in ine area! Horrible service, I went for a cup of coffee with my family. Everything was going well, but my coffee had a funny taste, it wasn’t good. I tried my family’s coffees which were ok, so I called the waitress and was explaining the situation to...her. She was handling the situation attentively, no problem whatsoever. Then suddenly the owner came out in an aggressive and rude manner, he even called us racists! Awful experience, awful service.More

The best place I have eaten so far in Costa Rica! As a veggie this place was absolutely amazing. Their menu was fab, I wanted to order all of it!! In the end I ordered the vegan chia pancakes with fruit and maple syrup and...it was gorgeous. The best pancakes I’ve ever had - and they were vegan! The staff were friendly, the drinks were great and all in all, reasonably priced for the portion size and quality. Cannot recommend this place enough!More

Although this little coffee shop is located next to a rather 'busy' street, it is a nice place for a quick rest and coffee. The coffee as well as the shakes and the pancake we tried were really good and value for money. There are...also some board games to keep the kids busy. Staff was also very friendly.More

Upon our arrival in Cahuita around midday, we stumbled upon this place and opted to have lunch there. The cuisine was delicious and the staff was amicable, making our experience quite enjoyable. If you find yourself in Cahuita, do consider giving this place a try.
