The restaurant is well located, the ceviche was good, but the two main dishes were totally over cooked, the prices on the menu doesn't include the taxes, so the final price was really high, the service was good.

Positives: Ocean front dining, very clean. The Shrimp appetizer (a warm shrimp cocktail) was really good. I would recommend that and there was plenty for two. Negatives: Service was terrible. We were the only people in restaurant and we had to go get our waiter...when we needed him. Never came and asked how our food was. Small portions. While we like the shrimp appetizer the avocado was totally brown as well as we had to ask for the pink sauce that was supposed to come with it. When the cook noticed I was trying to get the attention of the waiter he finally came over and gave us a good one. I had steak which was ok with baked potato. Waiter asked do you want butter or sour cream I said both. When he brought the dinner I noticed it was not butter but margarine. So again I had to go find him to ask for butter which he came back with margarine again. My husband is a chef in Costa Rica and Spanish is his native language so there was not a language issue. He asked why does it say butter on the menu and not margarine his reply was you will have to ask the owner fair enough but when someone asks tell them what it really is. I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc which was the house wine and I couldn't even drink the whole class it was awful. I always always leave a tip even for ok service but this time I could not justify it. We were going to get dessert but at that point we were just ready to pay and leave. My husband had a mixture of seafood on pasta. The amount of pasta is very small and he was disappointed at the amount of seafood as well as well as the sauce. Prices were a little high for the portions and quality of food.More

One of the BEST Restaurants I’ve had food from! I definitely recommend the cheeseburger, was one of the most juiciest fresh tasting burgers I have eaten. Would 10/10 recommend this place.

We drove here from Andaz looking for a local, on the beach dinner. The tables are under the trees right on the beach which is great. The service was excellent, our server was very attentive. We had cocktails and they are very generous with the...spirits, my mojito came close to knocking me out. We shared the prawn cocktail, and it was tasty but we were fighting off a swarm of flies which wasn’t appetizing. It’s not their fault, but go prepared to fight for your food. We didn’t stay for more food, although we had planned a full dinner. The flies were a bit too much. This may be a March season thing.More

Hi. Thank you, I love that you liked our place and the food, if this year has been a little strange, many flies and too much wind that the date affects us

We got there early. Good thing as it was packed by time we left. Had a cocktail while watching the sunset and took our time. Don't go here if you are in a hurry. All the meals (4) were enjoyed and we went back a...second time.More

Location location location. Great restaurant offering typical varied menu. Was there for lunch, portions way to big for me but certainly not a criticism. Food very good, service friendly. Had issues with wifi though, wasn't working.

Great location on the beach with the best food we had in Playa Hermosa. Food is still pretty expensive but sometimes you just have to shell out for that sunset dinner.

Had the Seafood Ceviche which was delicious and pretty much filled me up. I must have made a mistake ordering my sashimi tuna. Thought it was going to be on a salad, instead it was just a huge portion of fish. There was no way...I could eat that much tuna. It would have been better to have a smaller portion with accompaniment.More

This was fabulous. Lots of great selections - I LOVED the filet mignon, my husband LOVED the yellow fin tuna and our twenty something kids loved the shrimp dishes! We enjoyed the visiting dogs and kitty as well! Service was superb, as were the bathrooms!

We went for lunch and a little later than typical lunch hour. It was not super busy and our Service great. I think just calling when you arrive in CR will work. A day or two notice for the day you an to eat at establishment.
