The menu is small and authentic and made especially for you. Edward, the...manager, has his hand in the whole process from menu planning, food prep, wine pairing and service. Excellent food and service with Edward. We had the tuna and it was delicious. Edward is very friendly and knowledgeable and offers help with information about the surrounding area. The only problem we had was the different answers we were given about when the restaurant...is open. Made it very confusing. The chef came out after dinner and met us before he went home.More

Had dinner here last night, perfect for a special honeymoon meal. We were so well looked after by Edward from the moment we arrived Fantastic cocktail to start, followed by a delicious 3 course meal and a bottle of red. All veg grown in the...on site garden and local meat / fish. We ate the tuna salad and the avocado canneloni (signature dish) for starter, steak and tuna for main, and cheesecake and Pannacota for desert. Edward was on hand if we wanted anything in our dishes changing if it wasn't perfect.... we didn't need to change anything! Highly recommended for a special meal!More

We joined another couple for a stellar dinner experience. Edward was a fantastic manager and host, explaining the philosophy of the restaurant and introducing the dishes. Veggies grown on site are freshly picked less than 3 hours before the meal, so everything tasted extra special....The formal dining setting with beautiful linens and china made it even more elegant. Each dish was a work of art---an exquisite presentation. We enjoyed the food, as well as the whole experience. We give Colibri our heartiest recommendation for even the most discriminating gourmet.More

We LOVED our experience here! The restaurant is by reservation only and they ask that you choose your meal beforehand. More expensive than the other restaurants on site, but fair prices for amazing food and very good sized portions. My husband had the Lamb T-Bone...and I had the Beef Tenderloin. The flavors on the plates were incredible and beautifully plated (but we couldn’t help ourselves and started eating before we realized we needed pictures!) We shared the seafood soup which had a heavenly broth and a large assortment of different seafoods! We had a glass of red and a glass of white wines and they had many different wines to choose from. The chocolate bomb was so fun and very yummy. The servers take great pride in their food and will return anything you don’t like (which wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s always nice to know how much they care about your experience.) They truly want you to have the best possible experience, and we did!More

Best experience bar none. Private, exclusive and the service was attentive. The food is exceptional. Vegetables are grown on property. No processed elements here! Natural, grass fed beef-vegetables and fish same day. Presentation was magazine shoot, perfect. Had dinner out every evening on our 8...day stay-Colibri, is one for the record books! Come and ask Edwalls-he will custom make your dinner with the chef. Five stars!!!More

Or just for fine dining. Edwallis did a great job of explaining the menu & serving. The very talented and young chef is incredible with his cooking & presentation. The avocado & shrimp salad with lemon caviar was a perfect start & the main courses...that followed just kept getting better!More

I found this restaurant due to Trip Advisor and the great reviews it received. I really didn't have a clue what we were getting ourselves into, but I knew I had to find a restaurant to help celebrate two birthdays. I apparently called the Condovac...hotel and talked with Kensy who helped me out with everything. We had a little difficulty understanding each other over the phone so we used WhatsApp to make all the reservations for the following evening. We had five adults and one child for our reservations. Kensy had me pick out our appetizers, main meal and dessert before arrival. I thought this was a little out of the normal, but I think it was because it was off-season and to find out we had the whole restaurant to ourselves for the evening so I'm pretty sure they only came in for us which was very nice because it was basically like we rented a private chef. She sent me the menu for appetizers and main courses and the descriptions do not do justice to the food. This chef who apparently was #1 at his cooking school was so creative with the presentation and absolutely amazing flavors in his dishes. One of our friends thought it might be one of the best meals she ever has eaten. We had some upscale food and some just average in this beach area but this was outstanding and we are so happy we found this place. Since we were celebrating birthdays they did create a special birthday cake that I requested the night before. It was almost like a tirimasu in consistency but way better and just beautiful. I have attached a picture and couldn't of been more happy with it. Plus, the second person that we were celebrating a birthday for is quite picky and he loved the cake. They were also accommodating because at dinner I did ask about the flaming dessert that I saw on some peoples videos and inquired if it was possible to try it too because who doesn't love dessert on fire. And of course they were able to make one on the fly which we appreciated. But the birthday cake was way better!! Upon arrival please don't be put off as it is a very small restaurant and doesn't quite have a restaurant feel. It's a rectangular room with a view of the ocean and great sunset on two sides of the room. It feels more like a private room with tables set up and a small bar in the back of the room. The gentleman that took care of us I believe is named Edward and he was so nice and accommodating. I think he was one of the owners and very proud of his dishes as he should of been because this truly was a foodie paradise. Again their descriptions of the food doesn't even describe the ingenuity that he creates these plates with. One thing though is when she sent us the menus there was no price listed and this is a 3 course meal so I knew it was going to be more expensive than any other place we had been to so I was a little nervous to get the bill. With 2 course meal, special dessert made and one extra dessert and alcoholic drinks we spent about $340 plus tip for the 5 of us and 1 child so it actually very reasonable. I highly recommend this place to everybody who has an appreciation for fine food.More
