Excellent place. Friendly staff and great food. Recommend the Tataki Tuna and Red Snapper. The area relies on tourism and had struggled through Covid so we were happy to leave the resort and provide business to the locals. Beautiful area and awesome service.

For seafood lovers this is the place for you. Personally it’s not my favourite thing but some in our party wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately they were out of lobster bisque so I had chicken cordon it was very tasty. Others had the...seafood soup and blackened lobster was served inside a whole lobster legs tentacles and all, shrimp and octopus was included. Overall it was a pleasant experience on the higher expense side but the service and friendliness was there for sure. Everyone wore masks and treated us exceptionally. Offered free WiFi but hasn’t worked at any restaurant yet even though every one so far has offered it.More

My wife and I recently moved to Coco from Canada. We have been visiting Papagayo Seafood many times over the last 6 years. We have never been diappointed. We visited twice in one week. The Mahi Mahi and lobster were great for a date night...out. Our host Jonathan is a great guy with alot of great info about Coco and surrounding area. The entire staff was awesome and we would recommend this place to all family and friendsMore

Ate here on our last night in Coco. Aldofo is the main host and his friendly personality brought us to the place- he was helpful with the menu and took a picture of us as a group. Good was delicious! Very good for sea food....Prices not bad but a little more expensive then other places.More

This seafood is fresh everyday, caught by the owner, Felix. Definitely try the tuna! Not only is the food incredible, the staff is also amazing. Aldofo is the manager and he and his wife offer great activities like catamarans. Alfredo was our server and he...was so fun and had a lot of knowledge of the area. I was there for 3 days and I ate here often. I highly recommend!More

I ate here for two nights (super CR ceviche + tuna) and really enjoyed their great location above the main street, plus the overall chill vibe of the place. On top of that, I loved how Felix and team (hi, Alfredo!) really want to make...sure that their visitors come away with a fantastic experience in Coco. Hospitality FTW!More

We (four of us) thoroughly enjoyed a stupendous dinner mid-week at Papagayo Seafood. From the Ceveche, to Tuna, Stuffed Lobster, Seafood Pasta, and Shrimp... all was tasty, prepared beautifully, and with a smile! The staff let us sit in the air-conditioned area, and then later...we moved to the sofas for after dinner drinks. The waiter who moved home to Costa Rica from N.Y (forgot his name!) was great fun! We all had a wonderful time, and highly recommend that everyone visiting Playa del Coco eat here at least once!More

Located right in the middle of the main street in Playas del Coco, Papagayo Seafood and Lobster House is outstanding! Great fresh seafood and the best lobster by far in El Coco, prepared however you want it. Also a very accommodating and friendly wait staff...-- make sure you stop here during your visit to Coco.More

I only saw outdoor dining. It was very comfortable.
I would like to ask the owners of Papagayos Seafood about their staff and management. Mainly about customer service. Handling of unsatisfactory food served to client. We spent 234.00 on 4 meals and 5 cocktails and a Coke. 2 of our stuffed Lobsters the tail were mushy and grainy. We told your staff and they gave us s whopping 2300 colones off our entire ticket. Should have just slapped me and told me to leave! Our server never came to see how our food was for 30 minutes. Not good. I've owned 2 restaurants for 25 years and if my staff pulled that kinda crap with my customers they would be finding a different job. Also your Chef on the evening of feb 25 needs training. Presentation of stuffed lobster was terrible. I've seen dozens of pics from there and were beautiful. I'd be glad to send you my pic. Thanks Joe
