Delicious food, friendly and professional service and reasonable prices made Jardin Tropical one of our favourite spots in Coco.

My son and I passed this place right near the beach in Playa del Coco and stopped in for lunch. It seemed like locals frequent this spot, which is a good sign. My son raved about the great portion of really well seasoned octopus rice....It came with a nice salad. My fish Casado was made with grilled Mahi Mahi and was the best Costa Rican food I had during this trip. We sat outside. It was a great lunch with a genuinely nice staff. The prices are good for this area. We will be back next time!More

Great local atmosphere and cuisine. Open air, street side tables a block off the beach. while a little bit slow the service was good. Well made and tasty chicken fajitas and quesadillas, rice, vegetables and sweet plantains.

This is one of our favourite places to eat. It has excellent seafood that is always fresh, as well as many typical Costa Rican dishes. The portions are very generous and it is good value for your money.

After we checked into our resort (Breeze Private Residence Club in Coco), we walked down main street to check out the beach and the atmosphere surrounding it. Cecilia at our resort recommended Jardin Tropical. I was a little skeptical because it is a super casual...open air restaurant steps from the beach. We sat at a table on the sidewalk. The service was great. The waiter even told us about the history of the traditional dishes they serve. I don't drink a lot of beer, but decided to order one here as they serve only the local beer. The beer came in a frosted glass with little ice crystal in the drink which I found so refreshing and delicious. I wan't very hungry, so I ordered the seafood soup made with milk and my husband ordered the whole red snapper. Both dishes were extremely tasty and served piping hot. I would definitely go back to this place the next time I am in Coco.More

I wanted to get out the first night for an authentic casado and theirs was perfect. The food and service were good.

The sweetest man runs this restaurant! We recently returned from a week long trip to Costa Rica- I had heard the seafood there was great and was looking forward to it. I had the jumbo shrimp when we went to Jardin Tropical and they were...the best I had the whole trip. The smoothies are huge and so yummy. You won't be disappointed if you visit this great spot close to the beach.More
