I've been to Coconutz several times on each of my trips to Playas del Coco, and I predict I'll be coming back again on my next return trip. It's a beautiful open air restaurant with multiple levels of spacious dining area. They're great for families,...especially during the day, and they're one of the most lively and fun spots to visit at night. They serve upscale bar foods with fresh local ingredients and recipes included and have a full service bar. The waitstaff have always been prompt, friendly, and helpful and the owner has proven himself to be passionate and attentive to his patrons' needs. Best of all, they have regular special events from showings of all major sport events to live music and even karaoke nights!More

This is my favorite place to hang out in Coco. I love all the staff - They are all now friends of mine. Remy is one of the waiters and he is absolutely awesome! The true gem of Coconutz is the gal cashier named ILA....She speaks multiple languages, she keeps the place flowing, and I have never seen her without a smile on her face. You can’t miss her because she is always wearing these really cool, super tall designer socks with designs on them. Anyway the food is great, they have an amazing atmosphere with music or something and even during mid-day its great to sit in the swings and just have a beer and watch the people walk by.More

Went to Playas del Coco for our wedding at the end of Feb with 18 people. We frequented Coconutz several times. The staff was really friendly and on top of everything every time we came in. The swings were fun to sit on and people...watch. One night there was a band filming a music video and we heard the same song played like 10 times. Lol With the way the last yr has gone we were just happy to be listening to live music. We just laughed after hearing the same song the 3rd time and decided to start learning the lyrics. Have to focus on the positives. The people of CR are so positive and I just love their outlook. A lot of people could learn from them. Anyways Coconutz was a nice central spot and I'll be back. 😊More

Wow what an awful review! I’m so sorry you had such a terrible time. I would like to understand more of your issues like- the music is loud and terrible? We play reggae and classic rock music, pretty typical for the area. Did you have...More

We visited for a quick drink and a bite to eat, we ordered wings which had very little chicken but the taste was okay, and we also got 3 mojitos that all tasted different with different levels of alcohol and sugar in each, it did...take a while for the waitress to come around even though it wasn’t very busy. But they do have some fun swing chairs to keep you occupied while you wait! The street view from there is very peaceful and fun to watch since it is much different from the environment in the US. If you want so so service and your typical bar food, and have time to wait a bit longer, then this is your spot!More

First night in Country we showed up with a group of 10 adults there was plenty of room upstairs, friendly masked staff. The food was good bar-pub like fare with a variety of to choose from, the drinks were cheap due to happy hour so...that was nice. The waitress was great and handled the group size well. There weren’t very many people in the restaurant around 5 pm.. maybe a third full. Portion sizes weren’t on the big size we ordered a extra large meat pizza to go for snacks later, everyone really like the pizza it was big we ended up getting another for late evening snacks the next night after eating at a beach bar. Good experience.More

Though it’s an older scene, it’s always a fun time at Coconutz. We come here every year for the music, microbrews, great crowd, and fun vibes. Great spot for football (unfortunately they have my Jets on the so I get to watch them lose) and...also a great spot for happy hour.More

My guess is if it is available on their satellite system they will show it. They have lots of TVs so I would think they would show it if you ask and they can access it.
