Classy, excellent, cosy ambiance & atmosphere, great selection of drinks - especially Whiskies from affordable to high end.
Very good service and ice ball shaped.

To date this is the best whisky bar I have experienced in Shanghai. More unusual releases here than I have experienced at other whisky bars and decently priced!
Atmosphere is pretty darn cool as well...

Brought friends who are whisky buffs to Lab recently. They are impressed with Lab's wide selection and were able to try some. Great place to chill!

I've been on this bar for drinking something together friends. The location is fabulous and a huge variety of whisky and rum. Very nice atmosfere on Friday night, inside is allowed to smoke in order to enjoy the whisky with sigar if you want

I usually avoid peaty whisky but Sophia from Lab whisky did an amazing job of a mindset change thru an intro of a peaty whisky cocktail called Laphroaig Project with lime & herbal notes. First taste was not pleasant but subsequent sips became more & more distinctively fragrance & pleasant! Very interesting experience & learning esp when you adopt an open mind to let people add new interesting insights & experiences!

Really nicely laid out trendy whisky and cocktail bar in Shanghai. Great selection of Japanese whiskies. It gets very busy so make sure you call ahead of time and book a seat next to the bar so you can watch the very talented bartenders cook up tasty drinks. Young trendy local crowds along with expats frequent this bar. One of the best places in Shanghai to go and have a few drinks in a nice atmosphere.

Five of us stopped here as the fourth stop in a Shanghai Whiskey bar tour evening. The selection on Single Malts was terrific and the atmosphere a nd staff was great. We decided to end the evening with one of the cocktails and found them to be rather interesting. The Oriental Perl, the two drinks on the bottom right of the cocktails menu page was not drinkable in our opinion. Stick to the Whiskey and everything will be enjoyable.

Very stylish whisky bar and very busy so come early to secure a seat as I saw many turned away. I sat at the bar right in front of my bar tender whom went through the same perfect ritual every time when making my drinks. The collection of whisky here is huge and you will find everything that you are looking for even the rare kinds. Being a fan of Japanese whiskies I opted for my usual favorites of Hakushu 12 years, Yamazaki 12 years and Hibiki 17 Years. It does get a little noisy later on into the night and its a place where you would bring a group of friends. Quite pricey but I would say it is worth it for the level of service and quality made drinks.

I'm not a really whiskey expert however I have also never seen so many different whiskey before. They also do cocktails for people like me. Besides the environment and interior is great, never too loud music, quite a lot foreigners. And the service is superb.

If you are looking for wide selection of whiskeys and nice atmosphere in Shanghai then LAB is the place. You will be enjoying your drinks with a local crowd.
Before 9pm it is advised to make a reservation.
