After reading numerous reviews, I was really looking forward to eating here. Most of the food pictures looked really delicious too.
This place is smack in the middle of town. Their parking lot is a little small but there's an overflow lot on the corner. On arrival, there were just a few diners inside. But the place started filling up by the time I left. The small parking lot was pretty full when I left.
The inside was nicely decorated. The hostess asked if I'd like to dine at the bar since I was alone on this visit. I declined and ate at a table. Pandemic protocols were in place with the staff and they were all nice and attentive. There are a few TV monitors around the bar area.
After seeing a couple pictures, I knew I wanted to try their Chicken Alfredo dinner. My tastebuds were fired up for something really flavorful! My server offered a side salad. When the salad came, it had the wrong dressing (in a side container) so he took it to get the right dressing. He brought a small metal side container with oil & balsamic vinaigrette. I assumed it was well mixed, but it wasn't. When I poured it, nothing but the oil emptied onto my salad because it was floating atop the balsamic. So I ended up with a pretty oily salad. My dinner arrived shortly after my salad and I was ready to dig in. First bite seemed a little off so I threw on some pepper. But it didn't help. The Chicken Alfredo dish flavor was OK, but it wasn't even close to being delicious. I was so disappointed.
I've dined at lots of Italian restaurants and pizza joints in my life. And maybe I should have tried the pizza since more their specialty. So I'm mid-road whether or not I'll eat here again considering the fact that there are so many alternatives to choose from. You should try the place and judge for yourself. You might like it way more than I did.

Going out for lunch at this place brought a pleasant surprise. I was told to go for the pizzas but I was craving a pasta dish since it had been so long without getting to dine on pasta since Coroanavirus kept us out of sit down restaurants. I ordered spaghetti. I believe my order did not include Ciabatta which was mentioned on the menu as part of this dish. A very good salad came with the meal; I chose the house salad, seeing what it contained on the menu, found it was superior to many house salads. This is the first salad I received since the Coronavirus. When the spaghetti came, it seemed tasty but was missing something. Black pepper hasn't been on many tables since Coronavirus but I asked for and received some red pepper which gave the something missing to enhance the spices in their spaghetti, the best I've had in a long time.

Wonderful visit, the staff went out of their way to assist our family in a private dining area so my 90 yr old grandmother could join us for dinner. Do to Covid19 she doesn't want to be in crowded areas. She was able to Finally dine with all her family. We had chicken marsala, Shrimp and grits, steak, and a Salmon dish. The steak and chicken were so tender and tasty we could cut it with a fork. We all kinda sampled each other's food. And all of it was amazing. I visited last year and wasn't impressed, but they have a new Chef and New menu. With awesome Chef specials. it is now a favorite spot to dine.

We were a party of four arriving at 8:45 pm on a Saturday night. Service and drinks were good. However, all four entrees were COLD and it took a very extended wait time to receive them. We were one of two tables in the restaurant ordering food. Two other individuals were at the bar but were only drinking. I’ve previously reviewed this restaurant with a different account which I lost access to. On those occasions, the food was great but the service was poor each time. Consistency is absent at Fire Stone. I can adjust my tip to reflect poor service as I did on previous visits but paying a tab of $175 that includes 4 cold entrees is not acceptable.

The Service was Shabby at best. Our Waitress didn't even ask me If I wanted a refill on my sweet tea. The food was over priced and to make matters worse they added a tip onto my check even after I put a 0 when totally the bill due to tipping in cash instead of putting the tip on my CC. My Wife called the restaurant back about the issue and it was corrected. Needless to say we will not be going back! There is plenty of other places to eat at a fair Price!!

Went to this restaurant to support local restaurants rather than chains, we were so disappointed. Placed our order at 6:26pm, ordered the special of smoked ribs and fettuccine Alfredo. After 40 minutes we asked what was taking so long and were told waiting on the fettuccine but the ribs would be out in three minutes. After ten minutes they brought both plates and the ribs were cold. They took them back to the kitchen to heat up. The fettuccine Alfredo really didn’t have much flavor and the ribs were just okay. The evening was such a disappointment

We stopped in on our way to PCB hoping for a good house made pizza cooked in a wood fired oven as stated in the name. We ordered stuffed mushrooms they were sweet?? I am not sure why they were sweet, balsamic glaze isn’t for marinated stuffed mushrooms but a hint of seasoning would have gone a long way. The pizza was flavorless the crust was crispy but didn’t appear wood fired. It had nice ambiance and our server (bar tender) and was great! The beer was the best part of our meal. I won’t return too $$$$ for what they delivered. Use salt and pepper that’s my advice.

I stopped by for a quick dinner and decided to go with the new A1 Burger. After the first bite, I was surprised, not only by the excellent flavor profile, but to find that my dad had sent me a text message to reach out to me after 15 years of no communication. That burger literally changed my life. 10/10.

My husband had the lasagna and I had the Cajun angel. I cannot have pasta so I asked for my dish to be served on a bed of baby spinach. When the check came, there was a $2 charge for the spinach. I know it’s not much, but I was not advised of an extra charge and the waitress said there is nothing she can do about it. I asked to see a manager. When the manager came, she said there was nothing they can do and the chef sets the price. I said well I’m not charging you for pasta. I don’t think you should charge me for spinach. She said if it’s that big a deal then I’ll take it off. She then rolled her eyes and walked off. I tried to call her back and tell her it was the principle of the matter. She didn’t care and just kept on walking away. She then came back with the spinach charge, taken off and was very rude to us, and acted very childish when I tried to discuss the issue with her. The food was okay, nothing spectacular, but I will not be back because of the bad attitude of the manager. The waitress also did not check on us at all between the time that we ordered our food and the time our food came out. My husband’s water sat empty until the food came out. Inexcusable behavior for just mediocre, overpriced food!

Great atmosphere, great food. I have always enjoyed this restaurant. The staff is kind and observant, the food is always spot on, I can not recommend it enough to my friends and family. They’re menu has recently changed a little and they’ve added even more options on to the many already available including weekly specials that are always to fantastic.

First visit food was cold when it arrived at our table. Waiter didn't come back till it was to late to do anything about it.
Second visit Steak and Cheese sandwich had very little meat. And I mean VERY LITTLE.
Third visit Fried Chicken sandwich was over cooked and dry. Chicken was about 1/4 inch thick. Bacon was chard black on the ends and raw in the middle. Fries were very greasy. $14 for an overcooked thin piece of chicken on a bun with greasy fries is too much. Waiter thanked me for my feedback when he finally showed up and we were done eating.
You can't raise prices and shrink the amount of food. Waiter used the "everything is getting smaller and the prices are going up" excuse.
Won't be going back.

This place is truly spectacular. The food is so yummy! We had the crab dip appetizer which was great quality due to it having actual lump crab meat in it and not imitation. I also had a local brew with it. For the main course, I had the red fish Mediterranean style aka topped with a delicious reduction of what I believe was butter and white wine, with capers, artichokes, kalamata olives, and sun dried tomatoes. It was heavenly. I got the asparagus and Brussel sprouts as my sides. They were good but nothing spectacular. To finish off the meal, I had some sort of rich chocolate mousse dessert with a glass of Prosecco. From beginning to end, everything was so good. The only thing that could be improved was the service. It didn’t match the wonderful quality of the meal. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing, just average. This place is a bit upscale for Dothan, but it is so wonderful!

While we were visiting from out of state, we decided to try Fire Stone for an impromptu anniversary dinner. I am so glad we did! We were seated promptly upon entering.
Our waitress (I am so sorry I don't recall her name) was so pleasant and right away helped us decide on drinks. We began with the stuffed mushrooms, which were fantastic. Most stuffed mushrooms have the typical breadcrumb filling; however, these were filled with a mixture of cream cheese and applewood bacon, topped with a light balsamic glaze. The sweetness of the glaze was a surprise and we enjoyed the uniqueness of it. My husband loves pizza, so we decided to order one and split a Caesar salad. Since we like to try new things, we chose the Figgy. The pizza was light and delicious. The crust was nicely cooked with just the right amount of crispiness and chew. The combination of the basil pesto, gorgonzola, ham, and figs hit just the right note - There was freshness with the pesto, a little sweet and salty, some savory... Lastly, we (mostly me) had chocolate panna cotta with fresh berries. It wasn't heavy -- just smooth creamy deliciousness! All in all the meal was fantastic and I can guarantee will be back the next time we are in the area.

My wife and I finally got our second Covid vaccine shot two weeks ago and felt safe in finally going out to eat. This restaurant is very clean and the staff(with the exception of the hostess) wore masks and the tables and chairs at the bar were spaced out for safety. We sat at the bar rather than wait on a table and enjoyed a glass of wine. We both ordered fish, one was Mediterranean (broiled with olive oil. tomatoes, olives, art cokes, onions on top) style and the other Ponchitrain (somewhat spicy with a crawfish sauce)style. Both were very good although the Mediterranean style was a little too salty. The service was good although the main course arrived before we had eaten only a couple of bites of the salad.

For the price of our meal $180.00 for a family of 5 this is what we received. Cold Alfredo with a $4.00 up charge for broccoli, a cold, dry, and overcooked hamburger, a ribeye that was equal portions of fat to meat, and cold shrimp and grits. This may have been an off night for the cooking staff but that is enough to deter me from any future visits.
