An hotel that is exemplary in all aspects. If you want an oasis in the midst of the chaos that is Delhi it is here. It is such a pleasure to find this art-deco gem full of character instead of a modern, soulless box that...is so often reminiscent of hotels these days. The staff and their service is exemplary. They are friendly, but not obtrusive human beings who efficiently serve and respect their guests and in return deserve respect. I will make this hotel my first choice if I return to DelhiMore

The 1911 Bar A drink or a snack at the 1911 Bar in the Imperial Hotel Delhi is well worth it. Put this on your to do list when visiting Delhi. The ambience and atmosphere in the bar are just incredible. This is a fantastic...bar to relax in and enjoy the amazing array of drinks they have on offer (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Really pleasant staff professional and very knowledgeable. Jagannath, Bar Manager, is welcoming and clearly an expert in his field.More

The hotel is a piece of art. A colonial mansion with a very strong historical feel and opulent. The service is the best I have experienced in a long time. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The small touches of luxury can be...felt in everything, including the linen, the fragrance, down to the initial tour of the hotel on the way to my room by my bellhop. Excellent stay, will definitely return.More

We had a wonderful, if brief, stay. The hotel was stunning, with a special welcome from the staff with splendid uniforms and plenty of formality! The room was comfortable and had a great bathroom. There was a wedding going on which was a fantastic treat....Dinner was excellent and the breakfast buffet spectacular. The pool was warm and large. I would highly recommend itMore

situated near connaught place and the dust, noise, bustle, hustle of delhi - the imperial is like a sanctuary. through the gates into another world, stepping back into time to the colonial era and art deco. artworks, old prints adorn all the walls, even in...bathrooms, bedrooms. art deoo lamps, stands, clocks. the huge heated outdoor heated swimming pool with spa is great for lap swimming or just relaxing, also a well equiped gym - both at no extra charge. there are fresh flowers everywhere including the rooms. nice jasmine oil burners. staff are very friendly. it is an expensive hotel by indian rates or even australian rates but really lovely. great buffet breakfast western and indian, several fantastic restaurants. the ambience is wonderful. we came back to the imperial on our way back through delhi even though we had to pay higher rates since no agoda deals were available (india republic day 26/1) but we were upgraded to a lovely suite so that lessened the pain of the extra cost. very central location - we walked to connaught place, museum, janta mantra (ancient observatory), almost opposite government run cottage industries - fixed price store with great indian pashminas, jewellery, carvings etc, also next to tibetan markets.More

We only eat at the Imperial, we were too concerned about Delhi belly and avoided local traditional restaurants, the Imperial offers local food in their restaurant
