We were always passing by the signage of Bana's Coffee while staying in our Airbnb home, when we finally decided to check it out during our last day in Sagada. We regretted we did not do it sooner! This place is very homey and welcoming, overlooking the valley. You cannot notice the cafe readily as their entrance is concealed from the street. so try not to miss the tarp sign. Their clubhouse sandwich, strawberry bar and avocado cake go well with their strong, freshly brewed coffee. And unlike other restos in the area, their young staff are friendly and pleasant.

Went on a slow paced morning @ around 10 and the place had only 2 tables occupied, great. Ordered an americano and a lemon cupcake. The coffee was awesome- rich, with deep flavor and coarseness of the local variety, and balanced. The cupcake was a bit dry but the flavor was also spot on- not too sweet and tasted like the real thing as expected. I'm fortunate to be one of the few customers so service wasn't an issue, but if the place was crowded I'd still be understanding of a little wait as the place can't be compared to the hustle of a chain brand. They take their time with the coffee. Don't be deceived by the narrow entrance going down to the actual cafe, the interior is quite spacious. And the lookout at the back of the main road where it's located is good- pine trees on hills and a smattering of houses on each side. I appreciated the layout and the owner's thoughtfulness of putting AC outlets at each cluster of seating for charging of cellphones and plugging laptops. I could've got a lot of work done had I brought mine and having the back space all to myself with the nice view to look up to once in awhile.

Went here after a half day of hiking and needing a coffee fix. Friendly staff. Sat outside overlooking the valley. Ordered two cappuccino which turned out to be very good, made with local coffee beans. Added a small piece of lemon tart, which was also very good. Service was very slow, even if the place was not very busy. It took almost twenty minutes to get our coffee, but it was worth the wait. As Westerners, we should learn the virtue of patience, as after all we are on vacation. Recommended.

During my first time in Sagada, there was no ambiance in this place and always close. I was surprised with the huge change in the place. Unfortunately I can’t find our pictures of the place to post. We went there for coffee and tea. They also sell coffee (including civet) and some native products.

We notice most shops brew their coffee very bland in Sagada to the point where their black/brewed coffee just tastes like hot brown water. Bana's serves waaaaay better black coffee. The flat white was good, cappuccino was meh. We also tried their pastries and cakes and liked it. (The lemon tart was my fave) it's a nice spot to chill with a cup. They also have meals available - breakfast to dinner. They open at 8am

The decor inside is good. It is very "modern" cafe-like. However, the meals are a bit pricey for the serving. A veggie omelette with bread and coffee is around PhP250. It's almost like Manila. There are also better places to eat in Sagada. That being said, I recommend this resto if you want strong coffee in Sagada.

The coffee is great but don't expect the food to be spectacular. We were a party of six and the food were a hit and miss. The fried daing is deep fried and overcooked and very dry. The longanisa is average. I will definitely go back for the coffee.

We visited Bana's twice. * The first was to enjoy a couple of drinks following a long day of hiking. The restaurant is built into the side of a mountain so you get some somewhat serviceable views of the gorge below, although the height of the balconies kind of ruins this. In terms of the drinks, unfortunately on arriving we realised they didn't really serve any alcoholic drinks so we left. * We returned for lunch but the service was very very slow. Eventually when we got our meals the sandwiches were actually kind of soggy and stale. It wasn't the best experience and I wouldn't recommend it to others. I would recommend the yoghurt house which is close by.

Good coffee is truly hard to find in the Philippines. Search no more... Food quality was good. Service average and price reasonable.

I used to like the food there but on my recent visit, I was disappointed. The sausage is not as good as it used to be. The vegetable medley does not even comes close to the other restaurant in the area.

It is a good place, nice view, we had a great breakfast here, we ordered a typical Sagada breakfast meal. It’s cost us P1,300++. Not bad a price for 4 people. Plus you are in a downtown.

The food serve is a normal breakfast served at any breakfast restaurant. The only difference is the view as you eat your breakfast. The sun rays hitting your face is really lightening your morning mood. The only downside was that they tend to mix up your orders. My boyfriend's order was late. We follow up his order but the server said that he would check the kitchen for this additional order. We said that it isn't an additional order. I was almost done with my food when his order arrived. But he was also satisfied with the taste so I still give them a good rating.

We have tried many places in Sagada but came back here everytime. It has a small terrace. The coffee is great and the food is really good. Loved the banana pan cakes, eggs, bacon and fruit platter. Also the fried bangus was really good.

my husband and I were off to an early start going back to Manila, so we looked for restaurants open as early as 630AM on a Friday, and came across Bana's Restaurant. First I heard about them was from the market, when we bought their coffee and the seller said that their coffee was the best as they won an international award. The resto is a bit hidden, it's a good thing it's quite close to the hotel we stayed in. we shared the breakfast meal composed of banana pancakes, bacon, egg and fresh fruit. My husband got their brewed coffee, and I ordered for mountain tea. We sat at the terrace facing the backyard - it was so relaxing and the view was refreshing. My banana pancake was awesome. The fresh fruits were melon and watermelon and they were sweet. Coffee was indeed good. Simple restaurant, good food, affordable prices. Best to buy their coffee from the market as they sell it at higher price in the resto.
