About
Luna Lounge is a relaxed, funky restaurant serving a mix of local and western dishes. Only the freshest ingredients, local produce and seafood make it onto our menu. We have a great choice of house specialties seafood starters and BBQ. Our focus is fantastic quality and value for money, with great ambiance, service and atmosphere. We also have an innovative cocktail list and a varied wine list with some great value, delicious wines. We welcome you everyday for dinner from 5:30 PM in our lounge and in our garden is open from 12 to 5:30 Pm with a special lunch menu with gourmet sandwiches, wraps, salads.

Upscale environment and food at very reasonable prices.
Frederick is a great host and I loved the delightfully delicious food.
A cut above the rest and amazing value.
The filet mignonette was incredibly tender and Only 590 bht (july20) and with a 20% off he’d to beat on the island.
Highly recommend the BBQ prawns (order a day in advance as nothing is frozen - all freshly caught)
5 min walk from Anantara - well worth the trip. Went back again and again.

We were staying close by at Christmas and heard Luna was a place to visit.
I had the red snapper and hubby had steak both of which were exceptional. Not the cheapest of restaurants in the area but quality and service was worth every penny.
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The Owner came and introduced himself and chatted to us which was a nice touch and recommended both meals.
If we ever return to the area, Luna will be on our list.

Whenever we stay in this resort we always like to come to Luna and we enjoyed a very good dinner.
The Salad was so fresh and tasty with quality organic ingredients. Prawns in coconut are always a good starter too.
The lamb Massaman curry is great, a rich and generous meal.
Service is really good and the owner always makes a point of having a chat with his guests.

My wife insisted we ate here. Nicer than average surroundings. . . . Food na but twice the price of other restaurants in town, but that's ok because everywhere else is v cheap. . The food was no better and they cocked up how spicy we wanted it. . . The owner didn't want to know, though she was there, left her minions to speak with us. Overall would give it a 6/10. It's advertised all over the island, but there's better food available at half the price at many other restaurants in town

Have just spent a lovely evening at the Luna Lounge, Thong Nai Pan. The building itself is beautiful and automatically lends itself to a relaxed evening. The service is impeccable whilst remaining friendly and unobtrusive. The charming owner is clearly proud of his team and has clearly fostered a sense of pride amongst them all. He is equally proud (and understandably so) of the delicious food that is served, much of it homemade. Each dish was beautifully presented without being overly fussy. We had the Carpaccio of Tuna and Prawns with Pomelo to start, followed by an incredibly indulgent burger and Beef Tenderloin, both of which were cooked beautifully. There is absolutely no corner-cutting at this place which was evident in the hand-cut fries, homemade foie gras and Chantilly cream. This place is definitely worth travelling to wherever you are on Koh Phangan - you will not be disappointed!

Luna Lounge was a clear winner for us. Frederick was an exceptional host and fed us superbly well on the two occasions we ate there. My favourite was the slow-cooked lamb Massaman. Also loved the mango and chicken wrap. Great burgers, I was told. On our second visit, the family dachshund picked a fight with the restaurant cat! Fredrick was amused, we were mortified. There are many fine restaurants on the island but we had a similar problem at three of them - food that was ordered but not served up. At Luna, the waiters and chefs got the orders spot on. Well worth a second visit.

We came for dinner on our last night stay in the nearby hotel.
The place was well decorated and cosy with Xmas lights on. We had dishes from a la carte instead of the Xmas set menu for Xmas day.
We were shown to a table and the staff made us comfortable very quickly.
We ordered pasta and the mince beef steak for the kids. Both were well cooked, presented and served in a good portion.
I had a tuna wrap from the starter which was big enough for me as I wasn’t very hungry. The adult portion of bolognese was equally good.
We were also served a complimentary appetiser which was tasty and well presented.
The owner and the chef came out to check if all was fine at our table. He was very friendly and hospitable. We had the cheesecake to wrap up our meal whilst the kids had their ice cream. All was demolished in less than a few minutes.
we enjoyed our evening here very much. If you happen to stay in the nearby hotel, its worth coming here for dinner at least once.

We had enjoyed dinner at Luna. Host is very friendly. BBQ fish & King Prawn were fresh...perfectly cooked & taste so good. Other dishes.. tuna carpaccio was good for starter. Special dessert Banana Caramelised with Rum was so yummy. Price is acceptable with quality of ingredients and portion size. Adding a few more items to the menu would be great. We will visit again for sure :)

The standard of food was incredibly high when we ate here. I had a lamb massaman which was to die for and my wife had some delicious meatballs. The starters were amazing too. All of this set in a cozy environment with amazing service. The chef and owner also was a lovely charming man who took great interest in our feedback. This was a great meal!

We visited this place for the third time this month. We were very happy to go back. It’s such a wonderful restaurant. Inside it has a lovely feel to it. The create a great ambience with great music and soft lighting. The owner is so friendly and made us feel very welcome. He came over often to ask how our food was and check everything was ok with the meal. We really enjoyed the food and would recommend finishing the meal with a trio of desserts!

We had an amazing experience at Luna tonight, the kids loved the pasta and steak in the kids meal they appreciated the high quality of their dish , we enjoyed the red snapper BBQ and everything was delicious. Don’t miss out on the exceptional dessert the banana flamboyant- it was a real experience for the whole family. Thank you Frederick for a wonderful time which we will repeat soon!

We had dinner here on our last day in Koh Phangan. The restaurant is quite nice, and the food was excellent. Even my 6 year old said that the food was delicious. I had a tenderloin which was too under, and they apologised, fixed it and gave us complimentary coffee on the house at the end of the meal. The chef (owner?) was also very welcoming and made sure we were having a good time.
Overall, we had a very nice experience here and would recommend it. The restaurant is expensive for Thailand standards but definitely worth it if you would like a nice dinner for a special occasion.

We ate here on our first night and it was so good we ended up going again twice. It's a lovely restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff and the French owner is usually about for a chat as well. We had a starter called Phangan Sunrise which was absolutely gorgeous its made of cold cooked potatoes, tomato and chopped kingfish in a dressing, so good we had it twice. We also had Lamb Massaman curry, Snapper and a beautiful fillet steak and the Panna Cotta and Creme Brulee are to die for. You also get an Amouse Bouche and a sample of the Ice Ceams they make in house. In our opinion it was by far the best reaturant in the village.

Beautifully designed place for a relaxing meal. Staff are lovely and attentive and the owner was friendly and accomodating for all requests.
We celebrated a birthday dinner at Luna and had a delicious meal followed by a complimentary birthday dessert which made our day!
A great place to have a relaxing meal. Highly recommend.

We had a delightful dining experience at Luna restaurant, which offered great food, attentive service, fair prices, and a pleasant atmosphere. The dishes we tried were delicious, featuring bold flavors and fresh ingredients. The staff was kind and responsive, making our evening enjoyable. The prices were very reasonable, offering good value compared to other similar restaurants in the area. The restaurant's ambiance added to our dining experience, with tasteful décor and a comfortable vibe. We recommend this restaurant for a lovely dining experience in Thailand.
