Amazing food

We were looking for something cozy and romantic and came up in this place. It wasn’t like other high end places we’ve been but our server made us feel at home. We ordered the scallops with quinoa and the steak with roasted vegetables . And OMG it was so delicious. The scallops were huge and cooked to perfection and the stake was so soft you could cut it with your fork. The had a nice wine list too. Definitely recommend it!

Wonderful Dinner

The service was outstanding and set the tone for the whole evening. Eddie was great. We had the Brussels Sprout salad that had an amazing tasty sauce. We also had the Caesar said that was fresh and flavorful, I normally don’t finish my whole salad but I ate every bit of this one! We also had the salmon which was cooked to perfection as well as the Phillies which hubby said was delicious! I ordered the “Phoenix” to drink and had them skip the simple syrup. It was just what I wanted!!!! We will go back, great food and friendly service!

👍Pleasant For a Date Night Out

We went for a quiet date night out after staying home for most of the time last several months due to the pandemic restrictions. I made a reservation and therefore had no problem getting a nice table. Decor is nice and since we were early also nice and not noisy. Atmosphere in the main dining room is probably business casual except in the bar area it’s very casual. There also is a upstairs dining area and rooftop patio available for outdoor eating. Service was friendly and courteous. We started with the Calamari which was tasty but different than the usual we get in other places. For the main course I had the 6oz Filet and my spouse had the Pumpkin Crusted Salmon. For dessert we had the Chocolate Cake, Portions were of nice size not too large and presentation was pleasant. Prices were reasonable and normal for the quality of food. Parking is free and plenty of space available in the parking area. Definitely recommend making a reservation and recommend Eating here. 👍

Very good food

Loved this restaurant. My husband ordered pasta and I had a delicious flatbread pizza (Blackberry ham & goat cheese). Both meals were phenomenal. Server was very attentive and offered great suggestions. We started out with crab cakes and they were very good also. Dark chocolate cake with raspberry coulis was out of this world. The restaurant is nice inside, they market that there is a nice view from upstairs deck but I say that's a stretch!

Weak Service, Food was good

Decided to try this place for my wife's birthday while we were visiting Amarillo. Made a reservation on Open Table for a regular table. When we arrived we were told we had made a reservation for the second floor and were pointed toward the stairs. Apparently first floor is all tall tables and bar. We were seated promptly but waited quite a while for drink order and again for food order. Had the Asian Lettuce Wrap with bulgogi sirloin for a starter. It was very good, probably the best part of the meal. I followed with grilled halibut and my wife ordered the bacon wrapped meat loaf. My halibut was very good but my wife did not care for the bacon wrapped meat loaf, I tried it and was less than impressed as well. May be just a taste preference thing though. Service was slow through out the meal. We wished we had tried another restaurant.

Worst experience ever!!!!

Worst experience ever! 1. In the 1.5 hours we were there our server only asked one person if they wanted a beverage, we were a party of 11. 2. When I caught the server and ask him for a stout beer, he came back with a different beer. He told me they were out of what I ordered, so he chose a substitute for me without asking me what I would want. 3. After over an hour later none of our food had arrived, not even my cup of soup, which I ask to come out as an appetizer. 4. He told us they would give us two free appetizer, but they chose them for us. Then took them away before we had finished them. 5. When my cousin caught the server and finally got to ask if he could have a beer, the server took that glass away before he was finished it. 6. The server had three tables in the room we were in. Our party of 11, another party of 8 & a party of 2. The hostess should not have sat more ppl in his section then he could handle. 7. When we gave up waiting we cancelled our order, then the manager showed up and said she would try to get our order out "in 5 to 10 min.", just after we had been informed the kitchen staff had not even started our ticket. 8. As we were leaving, the other table of 8 told the manager they had been waiting for over 1.5 hours since they had ordered. 9. Our family birthday was ruined, it was to late to go anywhere else. If the restaurant was so badly under staffed and untrained from the hostess, server, kitchen staff & manager, they should have never taken our reservation. 10. Amarillo has many excellent dinning options, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Dead on a Saturday night for a reason

This was my fourth time to eat at Cask and Cork. The first three times were business. We dined in the wine room two of the three times and had a great experience. Great food and service. The other time was on the patio during the winter and again great food and service. Tonight from the time we arrived we were treated great. We had reservations s and were seated quick. The waitress was awesome and really took care of us. The food was not what I had in the first three visits. We started with the charcuterie board. There were sandwich slices of Swiss cheese, some salami slices cube pepper cheese and some meat that resembled dried beef jerky. Pretty lame. I had the ribeye medium rare and my guest had the chef filet and lobster. They enjoyed the filet and lobster. My ribeye was cold when it arrived. Had no favor. I couldn’t chew through the fatty parts. I ordered the Brussels sprouts and bacon. They were charred good on the outside but were not cooked. Again the service was a five star the food for me was a one. Pretty disappointing.

Fantastic food and a great waiter - he made suggestions on some sparkling wine that was great. I had the lobster fettuccine and my wife had the scallops and before our meals we had the crab cakes - all was fantastic!!!! On thing about this place is the do NOT skimp on the meat unlike most places here. Highly recommend this place for all!

Excellent. You wouldn’t know this was there except for it came up on my Holiday inn site (IHG.com) and Open Table. We ordered their award winning pink margarita with blueberries- so good we had another-and their bruschetta ( which is enough for 4). Then my husband had a burger (2 patties) and I ordered the Pasta puttanesca. Both very good. Check out the pictures. Staff was very friendly, tables are spaced apart, everything was very clean.

Pleasant Surprise!

When my father and I were recently on a cross country trip our hotel at our stop in Amarillo recommended this restaurant for us. Kuddos to the hotel (Tru by Hilton) for the recommendation of the restaurant that was spot on! It was so inviting and relaxing especially after a long drive. The food was nom nom nom perfect. My father had the bison and I had a pizza. There's a decent variety on the menu without being cumbersome. They have covered heated outdoor seating which was perfect on a chilly night. Shout out especially to our server Aaron, who on his 4th day out of training was a rock star already! I could see this guy owning his own restaurant in the future! All around, easiest recommendation I could give.

Good, Not Great

Good wine selections, but they have marked them up 3 X the retail price, so greedy! Aarron our server was very good! Food was good, but not great! Chef needs to pay attention to details, such as temperature of the food. Red Snapper Asia sauce was great! Our group suggestions include: Offer a baked potato, easy to have dozens of these. How about offering a nice bread like sourdough? Again, watch the food temperatures! Our Snapper was hot, but the rice on the plate was cold.

👍 Fully Enjoyed Our Sunday Brunch.

We went here for a Sunday brunch. Had a reservation so were seated quickly in the downstairs dining room as requested. Atmosphere is restaurant modern but pleasant. Our waiter Tim provided excellent service. Food came out as ordered and was delicious. They also have a dining area upstairs plus a roof top patio which is nice in good weather. Parking is free and available in the area in front and side.

Great selection of wine. Friendly staff and excellent service. Great place to take clients and customers. Steak was great, cooked well. I would’ve given 5 stars but I felt appetizers were average.

Fantastic service by Paige! Good food

It was a recommendation by a friend! We went to see a football game. It’s more of an upscale restaurant! Beautiful patio a d outdoor seating. Great food flavor! Amazing service. The price was high!!! $35 for 1 beer, 1 Bloody Mary and an order of French fries!!

Great Atmosphere and Good Food!

We were vacationing and chose this restaurant on a whim. We ate in the private "Wine Room" which was awesome! We could even bluetooth our own music is we wanted. Wes was our server and he was really attentive, kind, and funny! He made the expensive that much better for us. Food and drinks were very good, too!
