Ordered and picked up pasta and pizza from Gino’s. Four cheese pizza and bacon/Gouda cheese pizza plus pasta. The four cheese pizza was very good. Very delicious. The bacon/Gouda pizza was also quite good. We also ordered pasta, great but I really like the pizza...better. Highly recommended.More
There was good service and the food was good. I recommend coming here with your family or friends. The desert is yummy
I love the Angelizza apetizer and their pastas are divine.fresh and fluffy aldente. I tried salted egg pasta and I loved it❤
I’m italian and I can tell: the Pizza is very good in the original Napoli style, they make pizza and pasta good like in Italy and the ingredients are original and fresh. Very tasty and healthy food. They don’t have to many choices for the...toppings but the price are cheap and they have also very special imported beers.More
ordered salad with burrata, smegg and 5 cheese pizza in gino's. then, ordered latte in the cafe beside them. all good!! ingredients are fresh. taste is simple but good!!
Went with a group of 6. Had 3 pizzas, pasta and salads which were shared, family style. All good except beer was limited to micro-brew from company associated with parent company. No San Miguel and one of my companions told me that the microbrew was...not as good as SM, thus on drank juice.More
Speaking as an Italian, they have a fairly decent pizza (although the mozzarella in their pizza doesn't taste as such) and the pasta is good. The price is overall reasonable, perhaps a tad high on some items. But i do recommend it.
i love their ginger beer...and the fact that tyler's is next door to gino's w a magic door to go there (obviously the same owners of these 2 restos)
Mediocre food, under staffed, undertrained staff with no manager on duty. They couldn’t even get my order of “a glass of house white wine” (they only have 1 type) . My kids were so thirsty and begging for water but waiters pretended not to see...us, (4 of us raising our hands). Will never ever go back to this place. Food wasn’t great either, quality deteriorated compared to posium branch. Ugh!!!More
I have been craving for some good pizza and my daughter suggested that we go to Gino’s in Katipunan Ave. I love their Pizza Margarita with fresh mozzarella! Their Carbonara and Mushroom Parmigiana are just splendid! I have tried their Burrata and Salted Egg Pasta...before and both are also both delicious!More
I've been to Gino's several times in the past, usually to celebrate a milestone in my life. Just last week, my family and I went to celebrate my birthday at Gino's. It was my fervent request. We were excited to see that they've moved to...a bigger and brighter space. The shop was not packed, which came to me as a surprise but I was happy about it as we were seated in no time. First observation, there were a lot of mosquitoes. We were asked to transfer to a table near the bar since the tables near the entrance were more frequented by these uninvited guests. The area near the bar, was not spared at all. Second observation, the Margherita pizza that we ordered was served in less than 10 minutes. That was fast! Who would not want fast service right? However, the crust was a little soggy. And I don't recall their crust to be that thin and wet or served under 10 mins. Third observation, the Carbonara and Salted Egg pasta were skimpy with ingredients. Visually, you can't tell them apart because they looked exactly the same. The pasta strands were slightly 'stout'. I make fresh pasta at home too and I know that these have been carelessly made. The Salted Egg pasta was my favorite before but that night, I was just eating fresh pasta with sauce that slightly tastes the name it suggests. Sorry but the dinner was a total let down.More
This Gino's restaurant made me eat a lot, I ordered the Tomato Basil first, twas perfect. After finishing my pasta I share with my friend's sausage pizza was also good delicious with its white cheese. The food presentation looks appealing and mouthwatering, and the looks...didn't lie, it really was delicious.More
We started with the burrata with cherry tomatoes and pesto and we liked it. We also tried the salted egg pasta and it was quite flavorful. We suggest that you share it with a companion as it can be overpowering. We love the pizzas as...they are baked in a brick oven. The crust is chewy. Do try putting some of their spicy honey on the pizza as they enhance the taste of the pizza.More
With many pizza chains around, it is refreshing to have great pizza (and pasta). Start with the pizza appetizer- these babies do not disappoint. Craving for more pizza after that? Do try the meat pizza-- don't forget to add the honey with chili for a...nice flavor. Pesto pasta is also great-- the pesto is not over powering but really enhance the pasta. They also offer the salted egg pasta -- good but not my favorite. The sausage pasta really hits the spot. Tips: You can add more in your pizza-- extra cheese or others. Please note that parking can be a challenge during peak hours. Lastly, this resto is connected to Tyler-- so you have more options for you and company.More
