Really loved the flavor and tenderness of the ribs, and the care that they spent (every Monday) smoking their meats. Celebrated many a birthday of friends here.

Fathers day and we decided to have family dinner at Big Daddy Jay's at Quezon City. I read already the review of this place, I want to confirm and have a taste of the ribs and buffalo wings....Good news is, Yes the ribs are tasteful and juicy. the buffalo wings are just right.
The only sad thing, how I wish it comes with potatoes (fries).....Well still the pork ribs are deliiiiiicious!!!!

I arrived at 1130am and ordered one solo and one half slab. I was already suspicious when the guy grilling came out w cooked ribs which he simply reheated.
Maybe the fresh off the grill ribs is worth raving about. I don’t know. Because we were served substandard reheated ribs. It was a bit tough and really tastes awful.
I think a restaurant should serve quality, fresh food no matter what time of day.

This is one of the best smoked ribs in town! Judging by the looks of the place you will not expect the quality of ribs they have, it's juicy and flavorful.

We went to this place last November to try another American Ribs. It does not have the sweet taste of other ribs I have tried but it follows an old aged recipe for traditional kind of ribs. I rated it 3 stars because we were served ribs with lots of fats. Although for its price and size it is worth it. Moreover, the wings are of average taste.

The place is one short jeepney ride away from my house so its very convenient. Its very near Ali Mall too. The place is cozy and the owners were there to chat with you. We ordered the full rack of original smoked ribs, rice and chicken wings. The ribs were deliciously tender and not dry! We were prepared to wait as there were many customers. We did not wait long as they have had several prepared already. There were only 3 of us, (me, my mom and my sister) and .we finished the whole thing. It was that yummy. Price is very affordable compared to other restaurants with the same offering.

We have tried ribs from different restaurants but big daddy jays is one of the best ribs we have tried so far, we did not wait that long eventhough we went here just a couple of minutes before opening time then we ordered their famous RIBS, the meat is so tender that it just comes off the bone, the taste is superb with or without the sauce.
Recommended if you're craving for that southern style slow grilled barbecued ribs that you can only see on tv!

If you're ready for heavy carbo/calorie intake, enjoy their ribs with the buttered rice. Otherwise I will highly recommend enjoying these sumptuous ribs with the side dishes - you will enjoy it more without leaving the resto extra full. I went there with a friend, we ordered the half slab, we had one rice each, and shared the herb potatoes and mixed veggies. I also loved the sauce. I will definitely come back and let my family experience the awesome time i had here!

I've been to Big Daddy's Jay a couple of times and they never fail to satisfy my craving for that mouth dripping ribs they offer. They just opened last April and they operate 6 days a week during lunch time and dinner time. They are close on Mondays, because that's the time they smoke thier ribs. If you love baby baby back ribs, then Big Daddy Jay's is for you. If you are commuting, go to the jeepney terminal beside Telus bldg. take the P. Tuazon jeepney. Drop off at 17th Avenue just by the Caltex Gas Station there you will see Big Daddy Jay's. Enjoy!
