Despacito is the way to enjoy Alba's ....the buffet spread is perfect! Classic Spanish food and everything was prepared and cooked very well. From the appetizer to the paella to crispy cuchinillo and tender callos to the light as cloud canonigo and dense leche flan..it's...only been 2 days ago when I was there with my friends, and I am already planning for my next meal.. The staff are also very attentive as they serve your soup even when you didn't ask and are visible so it was easy to ask for anything you need. They also inform you before they clear the buffet table. My Canadian balikbayan friend was very impressed at how Alba's has maintained the food quality and service all these years. Love love loveMore

It was a fulfilling dinner buffet that my family shared before the new year.I personally enjoyed the Paella, galantina, lengua and of course the Cuchinillo.their leche flan was also good. Menu was not overwhelming, but included the all time spanish favorites.would be more satisfying if...they include the drinks in the buffet price.More

This is the main Alba of all the branches. Got seated right away. Got the paella, they had 2 kinds, which was was well seasoned. The lechon pieces, juicy, and skin crunchy. The chicharron (pork rinds) good with vinegar. They had a torta, some salads,...escabeche and a meat dish with tomato. Dessert was leche flan, nicely made. For the price it is great and the service was attentive. Simple, tasty spanish fare. Sangria is a must try.More

Alba’s food was great, especially the paella negra. One should take note though that there are no musician during Mondays

Me and my mom were invited by one of her friends in Facebook and had the lunch buffet here. It may not be the best but it offers traditional Madrilenian and other Valencian favorites. It's my first to sample their food. Not bad at all....Sometime, will return at this place.More

First time here. We were early so we had first choice at the buffet table. I started with the appetizers. The calamari was tasty with nice texture. Some rolled ham and pepperoni. We had a nice bottle of reserva wine. It was a while before...I went for the main course I enjoying our conversation. The paella, lengua, and callos were good considering that they had to serve it in quantity. By the time I got to the cochinillo (baby lechon) it was picked over and the skin was not crispy. The desserts were fabulous...light meringue and leche flan and a variety of fresh fruit. We had a nice table in the main dining area. Service was attentive. The mariachi band was delightful. Strongly advise reservations as it was a full Saturday night. Highly recommended. Val Albuera (visiting from Florida)More

I go to office a few blocks away from Alba Restaurant located at the corner of Scout Lozano and Tomas Morato street. However, I never got the chance to dine there until two friends dropped by and insisted to have lunch there. Coming from Makati,...they insisted on lunch buffet at Alba's. I was surprised upon entering the restaurant there was a buffet in two tables and the whole restaurant was filled with patrons. I loved the suckling pig and of course the dessert of canonigo. The traditional spanish dishes were there too....callos, caldereta, paella and many others. The salad bar is also interesting with fresh salad, cheese and various salad dressing from vineigrette, thousand island and ranch. We chatted animatedly through lunch while relishing the delicious spanish food of Alba's.More

In the heart of the bright lights of Poblacion, this is a trip back in time - delicious old school Spanish food with Filipino flavor, from sizzling Homemade Chorizo to their specialty Paella. The shrimps are great - but the best thing is the live...acoustic band, calm authentic atmosphere and kind, thoughtful staff.More

I sourced this restaurant on TA, being walking distance from our hotel in Quezon City. We needed to make a booking here as the first time we arrived, it was full to capacity with people waiting. So we booked for the following night and it...was still packed, but had a lively ambience and we were full of anticipation. Not knowing what to expect, we sat down and waited a while, but had to ask the staff before we were told that it was a buffet and we simply helped ourselves. There was a huge amount of dishes to choose from, both meat, chicken, fish and vegetable, and though the dishes were marked, it was a bit hard to guess the ingredients and everything disappeared fairly fast with the amount of people, so if you went back to get more, chances are it was gone and you would have to wait for a new dish to be brought out. The food was tasty, with plenty to choose from and you could buy beer or wine. Overall, we all felt it was a little over rated and they dealt in serving the masses rather than perfecting individual service and quality food.More

We had a family bonding with my wife's family at Alba Restorante Espanol at Tomas Morato a few weeks ago. Certainly the experience was different. Live entertainment playing famous spanish songs sets the mood. There is a common area and a private room for customer...to choose from. The staff are very accomodating. The food was good especially the lechon de leche, lengua, and paella. Deserts are the usual; fruits, cakes, flavored jellies. I wish there are more variety of food to choose from since it was a buffet. The price is a bit higher than the usual but then again it comes with the experience.More
