We hosted a family dinner for about 40 people and everyone was really happy with the venue, the food, and the service. They put us in a private area with 5 dedicated servers and our own buffet set up. The Kare-Kare and Crispy Binagoongan were...to die for. But even before the buffet was opened, we were given appetizers with our wine and cocktails that included crablets, a spring roll with that had tinapa (smoked/salted fish), and little croquettes filled with longganiza from Vigan. The private dining area also opened up to a courtyard so if you wanted some fresh air, you could walk out with your wine glass and sit under their capiz lights. The place is designed like a museum with stories and photos of Carlos P Romulo all over so if you’re hosting a large party, it’s easy for the guests to entertain themselves just browsing through the photos. Very highly recommended.More
Romulo Cafe serves creative/improved or perhaps upscaled version of Filipino dishes. The usual Filipino dishes were conceptualized/refreshed to have delightful/interesting/refreshing tastes. The ambiance as well, especially the intricate wall patterns they are known for, makes it seems to look like an upscaled restaurant. The place...has been designed to accommodate small (two to 25) and large (80-100) groups dining.More
Good restaurant to try with some pretty interesting history about one of Philippine's President. The food is also very good. Had a good time eating here. Staff is good but needs a little more training to improve further. We had a private room since there...were about 20 in our group.More
Food and ambience were great and worth the price. But the wait staff needs to level up their quality of service, they were generally inattentive and seemed to be "hiding" from customers.
Branding is not aligned with the service me and my family experienced.
