I highly recommend the classic eight-course meal. The price is amazing and you get perfect sized portions of all dishes. So wasabi tempura oyster and the steak were my favorite dishes, but they were all incredible.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They explained each dish and made suggestions for how to eat them to maximize our enjoyment.
Just a note: they do not take American Express. Only Visa and MasterCard.

Wonderful 8-course experience. Each dish was plated with intention, delightful and harmonious to the palette. Phone photos would not do any justice to its 360 presentations. Half of our table conversation was talking about each dish and it's flavors. Hats off the the chef and his team.
Ambiance was casual yet peaceful and classy. Cabanas are spaced out, curtained, and has their own ventilation. At the end of our lunch, my parents placed a lock 🔐 and threw away the key in the small fountain. Loved it. Would definitely go back with someone I want to impress.

Beyond 5 Star!! I am here too often but each time, they still never fail to surprise me. We ordered the rib eye steak and the classic wasabi fried oysters... Soooo good!! Even the house wine is surprisingly good. Got a stamp of approval from me and my friend, both wine lovers! The Gazebo is my fave, makes me feel like I'm traveling. I'd choose it anytime, even in very hot weather. They took care of us there, happy and grateful. It was also so nice to bump into a former colleague celebrating Christmas with her Team. I want to keep coming back until I've tried everything!!! Bummed I missed Valentine's as I was out of the country...

We had a romantic dinner in this lovely place. Every food served is palatable and came with an intricate presentation. The staff was helpful and friendly. We love to dine again in this nice restaurant.

Fantastic setting and amazing food and service. A worthy visit. The 8 course taster was amazing. The setting in the cabanas are great for a romantic setting.

Ninyo was a place we have been wanting to try for a while and when we came for a quiet birthday celebration, they didn’t disappoint. The food was on point - From the appetizer down to the desert. Plated well, portions were satisfying and the taste was fabulous! They were courteous during reservation and my requests were accommodated. Mike, our server was friendly and even offered to take our pictures. Great experience. Definitely wont be the last.

Had dinner with my family . Tried the 7 course degustation menu . I’m not a fan of fusion cuisine but somehow it passed to my standards . Food are in small portions that I felt I should have ordered the blade steak separately. I liked the open kitchen, you can see that when you go to the restroom. I liked the ambiance , decor , soft music played on a low key , giving a semblance of fine dining . But finding this place tucked in Katipunan was like finding a hole in the wall , particularly in the evening. Parking was a drag, you need a driver for that or you might be interrupted when doing gestures or proposing to a date. Service was attentive but non intrusive . Cold water refills were very consistent. Special celebrations could be held here, but to me, it’s more of a dating place. Fitted for couples , the cabanas are a must that you need to reserve ahead or just take chances. Place was full when we had dinner that photo taking of mine becomes limited so as not to intrude into their private moments .

We have travelled here for our anniversary, and all I can say is it's all worth it, good food, good company, good staff, the place is really great, if you are looking for a romantic setup, not just for proposing, a good romantic date, this place is a must

We got the Paris date package (PHP 3K gross) which is inclusive of the gazebo, rose petals and candle set-up. We did not get a love lock maybe because we forgot to ask about it.
The Good:
-The oysters were awesome especially the baked oyster with foie gras (to think I don't like foie gras).
-Crab fat risotto served in half an onion was amazing.
-Loved the wasabi mashed potatoes that came with the top blade.
-Ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and peaceful, perfect for couples who want to converse.
-Gazebo was comfortable to stay in, nicely lit and has an air cooler.
-Service is intuitive without being intrusive.
-Polite and well-mannered staff.
-Was charmed by the quaint decor, loved how they used old sewing machines as tables.
Very Minor Shortcomings:
-The truffle mushroom soup has a good truffle flavor but was a bit bland.
-Top blade was tough.
-I used the dessert spoon for the sorbet, so after using it I placed it on my bread plate for later use. The server however removed the dessert spoon from the plate and placed it back on the table which I think is quite unhygienic.
- After we payed for our bill, nobody returned to our table to update us whether everything is already settled.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Ninyo's and am excited to come back and try their other dishes.

PROS:
1. Nice ambience, makes one feel that he/she isn't in the busy Katipunan area
2. Very attentive staff (wasn't sure what his designation was but he wasn't a waiter) who welcomed us when we were still outside
3. Excellent service, although I should point out that there were only three tables that were occupied at the time.
CONS:
1. The parking area is an eyesore. There's a rundown shack in front of it with laundry (restaurant linen?) hanging in full view of everyone. The German Shepherd did NOT look friendly
2. The salpicao was salty. And pricey.
3. The side of the restaurant shows a lovely path with plants beyond the glass windows. Unfortunately, the staff also used that path to go to the front of the restaurant and as they pased, they would scrutinize the guests!!! That totally brought the ambience down several notches
4. A female employee totally ignored the guests as she babbled on the phone and went about her business, as if we were invisible! I hate it when these types of employees act like they own the place 🙄

We went here for dinner. The place was not hard to find and they have ample parking spaces for guests. The guards that greeted us was helpful, even after we dined he guided our car as we exited.
There was a koi, seats outside with a romantic Bali-type setting (we were told that is where guests with P3k consumable orders were seated).
We were given bread and butter, and an appetizer.
We got the Mesquite smoked halibut and Grilled hanging tender strak. My husband loved his steak. I found the veggies that came with the halibut was bland and sauce was nothing spectacular - just like how I do my homemade pakbet is how I tasted the veggies and sauce.
The place at the ground floor was quite cozy and small so we could hear the male and female staff arguing - I guess this is why I rate this resto average. Being a fine dining place I expected all staff to be professional.

My wife and I had dinner to celebrate our 16 years of being one! Though it was traffic we still made it on time with 1 and 1/2 hour to spare, we read ahead that the booked time is only two hours and they will inform you about it. The setup was nice we were given a table that is settled atop:) and it gave us a good view of the surroundings. A very romantic and intimate setup really good for celebrating love! The floor is adorned with rose petals and you'll really would love to stay for more that the allocated time but I am not sure if that's possible. The food was superb! Especially the oysters and salmon.

It is, thus far, the most romantic garden restaurant I’ve been to. The touch of petals on the floor, the sheer curtains billowing from the breeze, the beautiful presentation of the dishes, the courteous and pleasant servers all made for the romantic touch. I loved the drama of an exclusive space for a couple who is either celebrating something special or just out on a date. It is like being in your own world and away from the distraction of other patrons or servers hovering around and waiting to be called.
The downside, though, is that parking here can be difficult. Also, if only they’d replace their fans with slightly stronger ones that produce a touch of mist to cool down the humid air, it would be perfect. While there is an airconditioned common dining area, much of the romance of the date will be lost if the customers opted to eat there. I guess it is a choice between the comfort of an airconditioned dining area or the romantic ambience of their alfresco dining area.

Unprofessional staff!!! Worst service ever!!! Also, pre-arranged agreements were not followed through! Better to just spend your special occasions elsewhere! Celebrated my 30th Birthday there with a degustation for 12. Sadly, Ninyo ruined the day for me. Here are the details of what happened:
1. Minutes upon arrival, we weren't offered bread... So, I asked that bread be served.. When it came, they gave 2 slices of bread on a saucer per guest and put 2 servings of butter in the middle to be shared by 3-4 people. This should have been the other way around.
2. We were asked whether we wanted orange juice or iced tea.. But then, after 6 guests had been served orange juice, the waiter suddenly announced in front of everyone that the remaining guests will be forced to have iced tea. Our agreement beforehand was that all my guests should be given the option between iced tea and orange juice. I was even willing to pay extra for this but Ninyo's Facebook person said I can have dalandan juice without extra cost.
3. While asking for our degustation preference, the waiters were speaking in Tagalog and without finesse, as if we were eating on the streets or some fast food chain. Also, they weren't even courteous enough to say "sir" or "ma'am"
4. My guests were not asked regarding the doneness of their steak.
5. The staff were cutting corners by serving the two courses (salmon and steak) simultaneously on one plate rather than separately as was shown in the menu.. Also, the sorbet should have been served in between these two and not immediately after the appetizers.
6. For the dessert, they couldn't properly match the guests with their dessert of choice and one guest was served the wrong dessert twice.
7. At 1:40PM, I was already being told that I would need to decide whether certain late members of my party would still avail of the degustation. This was despite our prior arrangement that we will use the venue until 4PM. Their reason for this was that their staff members were already about to leave. Also, we just started our degustation at 1PM. Were they expecting a course like that to finish in an hour?
8. The staff member computing my receipt was wearing a tattered plain white shirt! That was supposed to be a fine dining place. Why?
9. It was my birthday and I wasn't even given a greeting/ complimentary dessert, even though I know that this is protocol for special occasions like anniversaries, etc. Considering that we were a group of 12, all of whom had a degustation course, I don't think this is an unreasonable expectation.
10. Other unprofessional behaviors exhibited by the staff included the following:
- When we asked one of the waiters to have our group photo taken, he asked us to say "sex" instead of "cheese" or saying nothing at all
- The staff were shouting at each other the orders
- When serving dishes or pouring drinks, they didn't say "excuse me" even if they would be too close to their guests
11. When asked why all these happened, they said that this is because the manager and waiters were new.
