More than a delicious meal, our dining experience was beyond just the food. We were a party of 9 and we were visiting from the US. Cafe Inggo came highly recommended by friends, and with limited days in Manila, we made sure to plan a...visit. So glad that we did!!! The food was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. The staff and management were amazing; attentive and very welcoming. The atmosphere truly felt like home. Must share the meal we ordered, sooooo good and truly authentic. Definitely 5 stars! Appetizers: Calamares, Gambas and Chicharon Bulaklak. Main Course: Bulalo, Ensaladang Pilipino, Sinanglay na LapuLapu. For dessert: Carioca, Guinataan BiloBilo and Leche Flan. Delicious!!! 😘Thank you Cafe Inggo for an amazing dinner! Highly recommend!More

This is our nth time for brunch. The fam loves their menu so we make it a point to eat here. High rating for the food and the ambiance yet reasonably priced. Our faves are their kare-kare, callos, pinaasimang lechon kawali and their 7th heaven...dessert. During this visit we tried their Pospas, Pastel de Mariscos and Pinaasimang Lechon Kawali. Exceeded our expectations yet again.More

We had a chance to try this quaint cafe in Sto Domingo Church on our trip to Manila. And we were pleasantly surprised as we savored each and every dish that we were served. The decor and ambiance is welcoming and cozy. Spectacular food.. Highly...recommend trying their chicharon bulaklak, so unbelievably flaky, crispy and tender. Loved the Bulalo, be prepared to be served an elevated version of this dish. Consideeing the quality, the price is totally worth every penny. This is truly a place perfect to meet with friends and family or a casual date night. Will most definitely come back !!!More

Located within the grounds of Santo Domingo Church in Quezon City, Café Inggo 1587, is a must try to experience dining with prayerful mindfulness. The walls are filled with artwork of several churches in the Philippines down to the friar/ priest salt and pepper shakers,...you will leave the restaurant with an extra ounce of holiness and blessedness. What a way to either start or end your visit to the church, be it breakfast, lunch, merienda or dinner. There is a wide variety of choices of Filipino and Spanish cuisine. My family was priviledged to sample a menu that has never been served at the restaurant and was supposed to make its debut early August 2021, but ECQ happened. Expect new items like Bulalo, Sinanglay na Lapu-Lapu, Lechon Kawali and appetizers like Gambas, Ensaladas, Camaron and the Crispy (and super fluffy) Chicharong Bulaklak soon as this ban is lifted. My 87 yr old mother enjoyed that the most. The Ginataang Bilo-bilo was so delicious along with the highly acclaimed Bibingka. Al fresco dining is available in the beautiful luscious garden patio to the side of the restaurant. They carry extra items by the counter like Raw Honey from Mt. Banahaw, Coconut sugar, Coffee grounds roasted by the priests and a wide variety of desserts. Kudos to Chef Willy and the servers who are seminarians and soon to be priests in training. What a great way to support their journey in serving our Lord. Special shout-out to Mgr. Brenda’s Rum cake, my personal favorite, I’m kicking myself in the back for forgetting to take one home. I’m envious of the local community to have this in your stomping grounds. Till our next trip back to the Philippines …..More

Love the setting, love the ambiance, and the FOOD - OMG!! To Chef Willy and the staff of Cafe Inggo, thank you for the superb meal you set out for us, This was one of the most memorable Filipino meals I've had in a long...time. This was my first time back in the Philippines, 13 years and it was simply marvelous. We had calamares, gambas and chicharon bulaklak to start (YUM!!) Followed by Ensaladang Filipino (and again double YUM!!) Main course came ..... Bulalo! and Sinanglay na Lapu lapu (OMG!!) Everything was prepared and cooked to perfection. At this point I had to stand up and walk around as I was not about to miss out on my 2 favorites Filipino (merienda/dessert) Ginataang Bilo Bilo and Bibingka!! Wash it all down with black gulaman!! Heaven!! I went home 5 lbs heaver but most definitely worth it!! Thank you Cafe Inggo!!More

Comfy, artsy, convent-style ambiance with a twist. I discovered Inggo way back in 2017. I would travel there all the way from Diliman to spend time studying / drawing/ and eating merienda. Excellent callos, arros ala cubana, and soups. The desserts are also very good---and...so is their pasta. Try their callos.... excellent. I enjoy eating brunch while browsing through their art books :)More
