Sad as good in the beginning. Ended bad as waiters started to argue when questioned about the total bill.

Good experience as service was good at the start. Plus, food was good & so with the wine suggested by the waiter that was serving us. Unfortunately, I didn't get the names of the waiters because it was towards the end that the good experience turned our to be bad. I don't think, the original total price should be erased from the receipt. Senior citizen discount should be written beside the original price as that is the basis & referred to when a discount is given. The waiters reaction when questioned was bad & argued with my husband & I. Customer service in the end was bad. Not good to argue with a custoner when I was just trying to clarify why the original total price was erased.

Excellent place but Pizza needs small improvement

I like the food and the ambience. Staff is very friendly and service is quick. I liked their appetizers, the pasta and the meat. Maybe the pasta portions could be slightly bigger. The Pizza is actually the reason why I only gave 4 and not 5 starts. It’s not bad but not as good as I would expect it in a genuine Italien restaurant. I have been in Italy many times and I must say in terms of tomato paste taste it could be better. But my main concern is the dough. Genuine Italian pizza should have a unique texture which is crispy on the bottom while still juicy on the inside. And the pizza we had was just crispy. Almost like a biscuit.

First time here in Bellini's with good food and ambience, we ordered pizza and pasta for lunch. It was delicious and definitely wil try different flavors next time! Service is also attentive and knowledgeable on their menu. Kudos!

Bellini's Cafe nightmare

Worst customer service at Bellini's Cafe. A lot of dishes are mostly not available. Service time is unreasonably long despite not having too many customers needing to be served. Does not accept credit card and does not inform. Waiters are not very helpful either. Food is so-so compared to price and serving. Suffice to say, I wont dine again. Truly disappointed as it is very popular according to many blog sites.

We had the pizzas and the pastas. Pizzas were just ok. The 4 cheese tasted like it only had mozzarella. The gnocchi had a strong taste of chicken cube. Truffle pasta didn’t have the slightest hint of truffle . Overall, not recommendable plus it’s overpriced . Owner was nice and friendly though

We went last night thinking about the positive reviews on TA about the food and location. To be honest, it is totally overrated!The owner is gentle but the food and service are not at the same level. We took a plate of bruschette that was just old bread not toasted( like we use to do in Italy) and chopped tomatoes with a lot of pepper. Then, Lasagna that it was clearly warmed inside a microwave (the dish was warm outside, sign that it was in the microwave)and was more like a soup than a lasagna, sign that it was frozen as well before going in the microwave ( it took 5min to reach the table). Then the Salsiccia with tomatoes sauce on top...it look like a patty with a very old tomatoes sauce ( it was acid!). Not mentioned the fact that we just got our dishes and they asked immediately to pay...such bad manner! They offer us a sort of liquor that it tasted bad as well. In conclusion: Bellini's was maybe 10 years ago one of the best Italian restaurants in the Philippines, not it is not even in the top 10. As Italian I will not go back there. Disappointed. Totally.

Hidden Gem

I used to frequent this place because of good food and friendly staff. I came back this year and nothing has changed. Food is still good and staff is still as friendly and surprisingly, they still know me after years of not visiting the place. Although the place is hidden at the end of a complex, it is a place not to miss when you want an authentic Italian restaurant.

Their Valentine's special is great

We went there on their Valentine's day special and they have a set menu. The food is good. Owner is really nice. He even suggested a good wine for us. Staff are really nice as well. Would definatelly recommend this place if you want a romantic Italian dinner.

The old, well-loved Bellini's is gone

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE Our family (with 2 kids and a senior citizen) went to Bellini's in hopes of grabbing some dessert and coffee, as we used to go there often during its peak and it was one of our favorite places. Upon requesting for a table, we were informed that Bellini's no longer serves coffee and dessert (unless you will order a full course). We were redirected to Bellini's Cafe, a completely different vibe with music, ambience, and a menu meant for the younger drinking scene. When we tried getting a table again, the OIC responded to us very rudely, insisting that we seat ourselves in the "cafe" despite the restaurant being almost empty. He kept interrupting us while we were trying to talk and continued defending in a rude manner. Eventually, he (in a very unwelcoming manner) gave in and said "pinayagan na namin kayo", after we argued that we had a little kid with us (the "cafe" was dark, wet, loud, and had customers who were mostly ordering alcoholic drinks and smoking). Honestly, for the current quality, I do not think the desserts were worth the trouble we were given. My parent's remembered eating there when the owner was still alive, and he would go around talking to customers, creating a very welcoming and homely environment. That is completely gone now, and it is terribly disappointing. Admin needs to reassess the direction they are sending the restaurant in.

Good Food. Rude and Poor Service. Servers Argues with customer about PWD/Senior Discount

One of the best to go place to eat Pasta in Manila. We love their Pasta Vongole so much! The reason why we keep on returning. But this time we received bad service from both servers who argues with us regarding applying the discount of PWD/Senior. We asked them to present the bill to us. Upon presenting the bill we told the tall server that we have a PWD discount. The server informed us that they will not accept the ID since we don't inform them upon asking the bill. And also mentioned that their boss will get mad if the receipt has erasures. I try to explain that since the bill was just presented and not yet paid, they can still apply the discount like the other restaurants do. But the two servers keep on defending that upon bill out we should have presented it. No apologies received but keep on defending themselves. This restaurant will soon face law charges for sure if they keep on doing these things.

I admire Mr. Bellini, he knows how to take care of his business and especially his customers. Staffs are polite and attentive to your needs. I loved the food. I find the chilli oil unique. Grazie Bellini ☺

Overrated.

We had a pizza, pasta, and I had to myself a pork chop. Saddest pork chop I ever had. The pizza crust from the supermarket would give their crust some competition. This place is overrated and overpriced for the servings. Not even the once famous orange cake was that great.

The food was just okay. Not very authentic. The ragu di cinghiale was way too salty, the penne all’arrabbiata were good but the sauce was not close to real arrabbiata. No parmesan cheese. The ceasar’s salad was, again, just okay and so were the bruschette. The service was friendly and professional and the restaurant itself is nice.
