I've been visiting this restaurant for years in UP and recently took my 2 kids to try it out. This restaurant rarely disappoints and my family enjoyed the food thoroughly.
The Chicken Sate was good and had a bit of kick to it, loved the piglets (german sausage wrapped in bacon) and my daughter who loves pasta, enjoyed the carbonara. Overall, the food was okay, what took this review to 4 stars would be the desserts and the iced tea. The cakes have always been extremely good. try the devils foodcake, kahlua butter cake, and sans rival. As for the iced team.. they have brewed tea and you squeeze kalamansi in it for that added sourness. To improve the sweetness, they will give you simple syrup.. so sweeten it at your liking.
Overall, a good place to eat with the family.

Food is good but a little bit expensive;
I love that they have a piano you can play. We eat here every time my son wants to play the piano in public. :D

Use to visit Chocolate Kiss Cafe at The University Theater of UP Diliman. So Glad thatvthey have a branch at the UP Town Center. The ambiance is very homy, with good and affordable comfort home cooked meals. Thou already had a late lunch, we just wanted good desserts for an after meal coffee and what luck we just stumbled upon this branch. Went for the Date Walnut Cake, one of my fave from their dessert offerings ever since. Not too sweet, not too rich... Simply Perfect!

Haven't been back in campus in years and was in the mood to reminisce so I dropped by the cafe for a late lunch.
I ordered the molo soup, the hickory spare ribs and a slice devil's food cake.
The cakes is still as superb as I remembered but the food no longer impressed.
The molo soup was served just warm, not hot. The rice which was the sides I picked for the spareribs had the texture of cheap rice -- dry and a bit hard.

Heard about this restaurant from our professors years ago, so we tried one of their cakes. They have not-so-ordinary cakes like Dayap Chiffon Cake, Date Walnut Cake, Kahlua Butter Cake, Prune Cake, Sour Cream Cheesecake, and Chocolate Chip Cheesecake. They also have mini round cakes. We tried Kahlua Butter Cake because it's not common to find it in other cake shops. So we were curious of the taste. The mini cake is just the right size, 180 pesos per box, and the taste is just right -- not too bitter, not too sweet. We sampled the mini cake with a cup of hot, brewed coffee. The combination is just right for our early afternoon snack after a long drive.

Way back in college, Chocolate Kiss was always our favorite! Lunch or dinner (if we can catch it before closing time), we would visit the cafe and have our usual cake and coffee.
With my own boys now, it's still a favorite with taco salad and chicken fingers (chix in a basket) on the top of our list followed by the salpicao and salisbury steak dishes. And the cakes are the still the yummy ones we enjoyed 20 years ago in Diliman!
Of course the home-made iced tea with honey is something you should never miss! Truly we love this place!

Some of the food here is ok like the kalbi chim, blue marlin ala pobre, longganisa and other dishes. But the food is way over-priced for the portion size, and it isn't a fine-dining restaurant either. No table cloth, paper napkins, tiny tables, plastic chairs. How they justify charging 250+ for a tiny serving of blue marlin is beyond me. And the service is slow and rude, and sometimes, when the waiters are dealing with female students, even sleazy. For chrissakes, just because your target market comes from UP, it doesn't mean you can scrimp on the training.
The secret of their success: there's hardly anywhere else to eat on campus that's half-decent.

Good to be back to familiar scent and flavors.
Usual order: chicken ala kiev, hainanese chicken and fish fillet with pesto salsa.
Can't skip the Devil's Food Cake for dessert.
Best of all, price point is Php250~ for main dishes. Value for money.

love their Devil's food cake and Iced tea here. Will always be my favorite in UP. Quite pricy if you are still a student and on a budget. But once in while, you can spend it for a delicious meal.

Food.
I love the devil's cake. I also liked the main course but the mashed potato is not tasty nor creamy. It's like there's something missing.
Service.
The staff are quick and attentive.
Price.
Low prices for cakes. P100 for a slice of devil's cake. I normally pay for almost P200 at other cafes.
Normally, 350 pesos is enough for a main course and dessert.

I usually come to class early to have some time to read the reading materials. Since I am not used to super quite environment in the library l, I tend to be sleepy. When I was looking for the closest coffee shop around UP, I found this place. They have affordable menu and coffee is ok-- one step up from a flavored or 3-in-1 coffee. The chocolate cake that they have is average given the price.
