We went here past midnight to find a venue to create a work presentation but even before we order we decided to find another place because the place is crammed and the customers were noisy. I wouldn't blame if the place was crowded even at...wee hours in the morning since it is within the university area and not much establishments were open that time so it was expected that a lot of students were hanging out there to study but the place was not conducive to studying at all. Obvious by its name, it was UK inspired so they incorporated british elements but there's nothing spectacular about this place.More

Staffs are not so accommodating, they need to smile more and look at the person they talk to... It was annoying enough that most food on the menu weren't available during mh visit. Their breakfast menu was good though, serving is enough for 2 people....But yeah, over priced considering most of their target markets are students, slow service, taste was so so and no service water. Good thing their toilet is VERY clean and well maintained. Complete with bidet, handsoap and air freshener ♡More

The ambiance itself is nice, its like an underground cafe. The customer service is 2/5, food is great though. What was off was they do not serve free, a customer must buy a 40 pesos bottled water that I believe is just 10 pesos. Students...go to this place and water aint for free? They make people laughMore

True to the other reviews, this nook is one of the best coffee libraries in town. Best is the wifi is free and the connection was at reasonable speed. Haven't tried all of their best offerings but i'm definitely coming back.

The place is filled with students cramming, studying, or glued to their laptops to finish academic requirements. It has reliable and free WiFi for all their customers. The only downside to this cafe? Highly expensive and overrated. A bottle of water costs 40 pesos. A...slice of cheesecake can go as high as 140 pesos, and they do not issue receipts.More

I visited their Mendiola branch with a friend one Friday night. The place is filled with lots of students but good thing there is still a spot for us. First, the ambiance is really comfy – perfect for hanging out and studying I guess for...the students. They have great music as well. Second, the staffs are kind and accommodating. Third, their coffees and other drinks are not so cheap but is really great, so it’s worth the price. I so love their nacho which is cheaper but comes in really big serving! The best!More

If you want to study or just hang out with friends, here's good place for you. Their staff are very accommodating. Must try their coffee, cakes, pasta and paninis! Also free and fast wifi unlike other coffee shops. Good place to do your thesis! 😂

My friends and I really love hanging out here. The baristas are always nice and accommodating. One time, we got the chance to meet the owner! He was very friendly and also generous enough to give us a free taste of their new cheesecake, the...banana cheesecake, which we immediately loved! Now, we have more than one reason to chill here!More

I'm a pasta-person and I grew up in a pasta-loving household so I do know what good pasta is. And I must say, Café-UK's Pasta Bolognese and Spanish Sardines Pasta are the bomb!!! Such simple yet very flavorful dishes! Really worth going back to!

I've visited this establishment a few times and honestly find the coffee to be horrible. It's usually too sweet or has no semblance to what coffee should taste like. McDonald's coffee has a better kick. Not to mention, that everything is over priced. It's slightly...more expensive than Starbucks, which makes no sense. The cakes look and sound great, but they just don't taste how they should. The staff are also quite rude, as they do not allow you to check for seats yourself. Instead, you must buy their over-priced, over-sweetened, under-brewed coffee before you can go to the 2nd floor and save seats. The good stuff: They have good paninis, but for P140, it just seems too expensive. Also, it takes 20-30 minutes to make one for some reason. Also, the place generally is a good study place, if it's not over crowded. Here's a tip for students looking for a place to study: Drink coffee outside, go here and order a panini (if you're hungry). If you're full or want a slightly cheaper option, just order a softdrink or iced tea, though those are also overpriced at P60 and P100+, respectively.More
