The restaurant was full when we arrived as the La Naval procession just finished but a table was quickly made available. The waiter informed us it would take about 25 to 30 minutes but service began at 15, then 20 and 25 minutes so he informed us correctly. The menu is wide and varied and the food cooked and presented well. The restaurant also sells breads and cakes.

When we arrived for lunch there was a queue and I can see why! The menu is varied with Spanish, Asian and Philippino dishes. It is very reasonably priced and the staff were most welcoming. I had wonderful black spaghetti with seafood and squid ink and my companion had grilled tuna with vegetables. Highly recommended if you want good value local food in a relaxed setting.

Been here about 5 years ago in a small cosy place infrom of San Agustin church back of Manila cathedral we were met by a nun am who happens to be the cook of the house
At first menu were like home cooking and whey amaze me was the label of the food . They were name after an Archbishop
Seem like they were the favourite menus of these famous church dignitaries .food was so appetiziing more of Filipino cuisine but now when a visited this resto again it has all caricature and experience def to Spanish and Italian cuisine. Found out the nun sister Vangie was the main cook and overall in charger because this resto is not oa big I would advise to make reservations ahead of time and surely you will not regret
Strongly recommended in case your are in the Intramuros area Manila cathedral and San Agustin church is just walking distance

I had breakfast there few times, is a good choice if you stay in Intramuros ( they just open a bit late for me, at 8 am). Black tea and carrot cake, they do have sometimes croissant or scones. Good location in front of S.Augustin Church. Not so good for dinner with meat overcooked and salty

This restaurant is located next to the St. Augustine church. The menu refers to priests, bishops and other prominent people in the Catholic Church and underneath is a description of the actual menu item. We had the chicken lemongrass soup, a huge bowl of excellent broth with pieces of lemongrass, chicken, mushrooms and onions. This can easily be shared by two or three people. We also shared the mango crab sandwich. The bread could have been fresher and a little bit less mayo would have been in order, but still a good sandwich. Service was friendly and food served quickly. Pictures of cardinals adorn some of the walls. Reasonable prices. The menu is extensive, even if not all menu items were available. A great place to eat, to drink or taste one of the many pastries, away from the heat and the humidity. Recommended.

I actually did not order anything but left after being completely ignored by staff. The restaurant was not even crowded at this time (there were only about 5 other people), and the kitchen staff were all in the kitchen just chatting and not even cooking. The cooking staff and waiters saw that I was ready to order, but they continued to ignore and chat with each other. The wait staff even walked past me at least ten times and did not once ask if I was ready to order. After being ignored, I simply got up and left and not a single person said anything since they were busy chatting with each other. I'm glad I did not give any money to this place.

First thing you notice is the conduct of the staff. Demeanor is untrained. Crass. Looks like exploited labor. Table smells. Service water looks dirty. Food serving is small but very pricey. Food is mediocre. Taste uninspired. Don’t eat here if you’re looking for good food.

This restaurant is always on my priority list of restaurants to experience in Manila, especially when in Intramuros. Being my family's favourite, we consider it as venue for my niece's baptism, our birthday celebration and "the place" to bring our guests in Manila. The menu showcases the favourite dishes and drink of Filipino bishops. I, particularly, love Bishop De Leon's pomelo salad, Cardinal Carding's humba, Father Beltran's grilled tuna belly, beef pochero, and some other Filipino dishes.

A charming, authentic dining experience with tasty food and smiling service. Looking for vegetarian options in The Philippines can sometimes be a challenge, but we found this place on TA and thought it would suit. It did. There was a ride range of choices on the menu, and we found a couple of new dishes we hadn't tried before: Laing (taro leaves and coconut - which didn't look enticing but was delicious) and Tortang Talong (Filipino eggplant omelette - could eat that every day I'm here!). We visited twice, once for an early lunch when it wasn't crowded, and again for a cool drink and break from visiting the sites in the area. The only constructive feedback I have is that their beer needs to be colder (not sure it had been in the fridge long before serving). One of us received a chilled glass, the other didn't, which made a difference to the experience.

Its a normal Philipinno restaurant with lots of things on the menu. It was the only restaurant in the area of Intermuros that looked ok. It was indeed ok. Food was pretty good (pork chops with mashed potatoes and rice), and it was comfortable to sit inside. I would go back there again if I ever return back to intermuros.

Coming to this restaurant never disappoints. I love their selection of dishes according to bishops' and cardinals' favorite foods. The place may be quite small and parking is hard to find, but service and food are really good. The place easily gets full, so be sure to come early. I don't know if they accept reservations. Anyway, thumbs up for the food and service!

Nice meal with good service in a historical location. We ordered Pork Humba which had nice spices and bay leaves. Beef Calderetta and a salmon and Cheese bake. Rice. It fed five adults. Price was 1300peso so reasonable for the group.

Quite a nice restaurant in the historical intramuros area of Manila. The food is tasty and good, a little pricy thought, but nice. The restaurant has a weird deco that takes you church. Not sure about the reason why they choose this deco but makes it different to others, that is always a plus.

This was a very disappointing resto. We should have known better when we were given the menus that were handed to us - flimsy paper held together with tape which looked like they had been made when the restaurant opened years ago. The only reason we went was because we didn't know the area and Tripadvisor could not suggest any decent restaurant in the area of Intramuros. A local guide took us there - and that is another story. Mostly Filipino food which was low quality and pricey. We also had two pizzas which must have the poorest quality I have ever tasted! And the service was so slow. One of the worst experiences we have ever had. AVOID!
