FALLING DOWN?! This used to be my favorite sanctuary for more than a decade, when I needed decent food and to be reminded about "old Europe". However, something has changed recently. Service wise and food wise. Where did the iconic Swedish "G-salat", fresh cabbage, oil...and vinegar go? What has been served the two last time being here has been some leftover from the lunch buffet, soft mix of lots of things and far too salty. My "peparbiff" covered with white sauce. My expectations were there, but where were the sauce?! A spoon full not even covering the burger meat. Unnecessary discussions with the management to finally receive a refill. And, why waiting 20 minutes for a draft beer when there is only quarter full of people?! And, why did they stop serving deserts? Something sweet after a sturdy meal. A need for me, and probably many. To conclude: This place is an institution for foreigner in Manila. For many reasons. Food and service are two of them. For me anyway. Why let it go? It's so easy to correct.More

Day time it is chill. A P299 "all you can eat" buffet with a good selection. Night time, it gets wild and funky. All good stuff. Certainly worth a lazy lunch or a groovy evening with good company

nice place that is situated right up Mabini Street by United Nations avenue. Has good layout with a pool table and the food is reasonably priced. I did not eat here but looked at the menu. It operates a happy hour on all drinks between...3 - 7 pm. At night there is usually some kind of musical entertainment going on. Really good place for an afternoon drink though if in this area.More

Hadn't visited for a few years due to covid, but I was in GPoint a fair bit during February when staying nearby. It was good to be back and happy to see it pretty much back to pre covid status. Just based on my dozen...or so visits across all times of the day during Feb. - Lunchtime (~11am-3pm) P299 buffet which was not quite as large as before but the price has been lowered and it was a really good spread/quantity and quality of food. One roast option (good quality the days I had it) plus a range of other hot and cold food and small desserts. It was reasonably busy the few times I was there and for me excellent value. - Bands started around 10-11pm, can't remember exactly but as per pre covid when the bands started around this time. It was a decent band and pretty busy with a good vibe the couple of nights I was there late enough to see them. - Happy hour from ~4pm to 7pm with 70P local beers (SML, SMB etc) and some other HH drinks (not sure as I stick with local beers and service water) they would "ring the bell/on da house" at times giving a free drink for those with a drink, as per pre covid. - Generally an expat/foreigner oriented place but do get filipinos here especially for the good value lunchtime buffet. I was usually with friends, but can also find company here in the evening/nighttime if that's what you're looking for. - One thing I've always liked is the generally relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It's a bit expensive outside of happy hour and lunch buffet, but the quality is pretty decent even when paying the (not cheap) normal food prices.More

The Gpoint has always been one of my favorite places to go. Lots of Fond Memories over the years. Great location..! Great food.! Great entertainment.! Plus many fun girls to keep you company if you’re single. Anyone who complains about that doesn’t belong coming to...the Philippines. The Philippines has the best customer service and the Friendliest people on the planet, and the most Beautiful Women.! As for the service at the Gpoint now, It’s really not that good. I’ve always been a regular customer and still go there. I have to be honest, it’s NOT the same place it used to be. I was in the Resto business for 40 years, and servers are suppose to be focused on only one thing. The Customers..! The day bartender is terrible with customer service and is only there serving because they cut staff because of the pandemic and she’s an office girl now being a bartender. The night servers there now are too busy chatting and drinking while they work, and they DO NOT keep there eyes on the customers to see if they need another drink. I purposely many times, left my empty glass or bottle right on the edge of the bar in front of me and the bartenders or servers would walk right by. I told the guy next to me, “Watch how long it takes for someone to see that I need another drink.” I waiting 35 MINUTES once, and the place wasn’t even that busy. I don’t know about the bad review about Daisy. I wasn’t there or never heard that before, but I do know for a fact that Daisy got caught stealing one time from a close friend of mine, and even though my friend told the manager to her face, and Daisy gave the money back, Daisy only received a 2 week suspension and was allowed to come back and work. My friend and I were blown away. We each said, “Do you believe that.! She’s still working here.!” Sorry to say, but if an employee did that working for me, they would have been fired on the spot. I’m also sorry to say, but the manager is no good. 17 years or not, she doesn’t know how to manage the employees and make sure they’re focused on the customers and if she sees customers need something, then she should jump right in and attend to the customer herself. The decision making there is terrible. Service is EVERYTHING in the Resto business. There’s only 3 things for success in the Resto business. Food, Ambiance, and Service. You can have the Best Food and Best Ambiance, but if the service is bad then it’s not worth going. Also things are a little pricey there. If the service was the best, then you don’t mind paying a little more. Only problem is the service is not good or what it used to be. If I was the owner, I’d fire everyone and start with a clean slate and a new look. The place definitely needs a new facelift. It’s the only way to turn things around. If the owners won’t do that, then they should sell the place to someone who would make the place a pleasure to go to without having to think about it…More

This is full of lie. I know Gpoint more than any one else as I've been working there for 17yrs. As a manager, it is one of my duties to maintain the company's reputation. Our main goal is to provide clean fun and entertainment for...our clientelle/patrons. I always remind and instill this rule towards all of the staff. I am not quite sure what prompted this gentleman to insinuate this bad reputation for our establishment. Our regular patrons can attest that nothing of this sort is taking place within the vicinity of Gpoint. At this point, we are considering to take some legal action.More
