Finally managed to find the time to have the breakfast buffet at Market Cafe and it didn't dissapoint at all.
They have a good variety of food. Western, Japanese, Chinese and of course Filipino cuisine on offer. There are also live egg, noodle and pizza stations.
Not to mention my favourites, bacon sausages, various cheeses and hams. Complemented by breads, pastries and sweet treats.
Good value for money, though some may say they have had better for cheaper, I still maintain that it's very good for the price you pay. Try for yourselves and you will see what I mean.
Will definately put this on my 'to do' list the next time I visit Manila

The buffet was a great value for the money. If you stay at the hotel you will only pay 1575 php instead of 2100 php. They have seafood on Fridays which was really good. Everything was fresh and you can have it cooked in different ways by asking one of the staff to prepare it your desired way. Right now the buffet is only open Friday and Saturday for dinner and everyday for breakfast.

I stayed at the New Coast Hotel and dined at the restaurant frequently. The breakfast buffet has a huge variety of options to choose from and the service from staff is excellent. Stayed here during Chinese New Year and the dinner buffet was very impressive and something quite special!

Staff not so hospitable and not even aware of our inquiry of the “interactive kitchen and an exciting cooking show” written description of the Market Cafe. Waiter needed to call a female staff, who subsequently called another more senior staff. We felt offended by the way they answered our queries. We were trying to call beforehand but no one was answering the number posted. Maybe the this page needs to be updated because according to the staff, maybe this was “pre-fandemic”

It is the only restaurant of the top rated New Coast Hotel . Lili and Fireplace are still closed. Serving buffet choices for dinner and breakfast. Ambiance was great. Airy feels. Tables were well spaced. Good lighting. Comfortable temperature. Food was delicious. Some though can be a hit or a miss. Loved it that they include drinks , aside from the usual coffee and tea. Japanese corner and the carving station are worth noting. Dessert selection was extensive. They also have an existing card promo. Don’t miss this one out.

Been here couple of times already. Every single time it has been a great experience. The food is delicious. The desserts are outstanding. Especially thank you for Sir Arwin, Vanessa, Russell and Kobe for being so accommodating. Highly recommended.

How can you give this less than five stars The food here is absolutely amazing and will keep me coming back again and again and again the service is great the staff are really good nice friendly smiling happy people and they make you feel so comfortable. The atmosphere is great you just cannot go past coming to this place it is a must do

Had high expectations for the Sunday lunch buffet since it was regularly priced at PHP 2,900, although thankfully we paid only half price with my BDO card.
Okay: cold cuts & cheese platter, tender prime rib (although the beef was not that flavorful), beef with mushroom, salmon sashimi, halo-halo, ice cream
Disappointing: crabs & oysters did not taste fresh, the beef teppanyaki was rather tough & had a strong bell pepper taste, tempura dipping sauce tasted bland even with the grated ginger
Service was good, fruit juice, softdrinks & coffee were included in the buffet price, but food quality not as good as the other hotel buffets.

I never get tired of dining at Market Cafe whether it is breakfast or dinner. I love the food choices and I must say that their prime rib (dinner buffet) is one of the best!!! Nice, warm and friendly staff as well :) Their desserts also deserve a thumbs up!!!

Market Café has a lot of selections to choose from. Food is fresh and the chefs are more than glad to whip up your food request. Special mention to Chefs Anche and Jerzon. Great job, chefs!
But more than the taste, one would definitely keep coming back because of the excellent service. Jeff, Xander, Jhon, Levie, Paulo, Mich and Ally and the rest of the Market Café team, keep it up! Good food is a plus but your customer service tips the scale! Kudos!
