I went to Atria branch. The regular medya Coffee was good - it tasted Malaysian to me. I also had an apple cobbler (apple pie ). Service was quick.

We had to go inside the public market to look for this no-frills cafe and taste a good-old-comforting hot coffee perfectly paired with a really moist and yummy carrot cake. We saw others order a certain bread that looked like a loaf with butter drizzled with sugar together with their coffee, and we plan to have it next time.

Based on the comment of one taxi driver and based on Tripadvisor, I went with 2 friends for a coffee, last Sunday. I have asked for double espresso, another friend for warm cappuccino, and third one for juice mix (with ginger). After 5+ minutes, juice came without any taste of ginger. Looked more like some ice tea. After another 5 minutes, cappuccino came in the mug, not cup. When my friend tasted it, it was kind of moca, not even close to cappuccino. After Another 5 minutes passed, my espresso was not served. I called another waiter and asked where it is, as that is the easiest one to make. She went back, have spoken for a while with waiter who took the order from us, and he came back to our table. When I asked him where my espresso was, he replied that they do not serve espresso. Wrapping up - none of us got what we ordered + waiter does not know what is on the menu.

We were seated outside, our drink didn’t come out after a number of follow up, it only came out when we said just cancel. Everyone else who came after us got their food and drinks. I ordered media cafe, the supposedly strong brewed with milk, I left it there because it tasted like the brewed coffee on hotels when it has been watered down. Just taste eeew. Horrible service and horrible coffee.

The go-to place to have breakfast in La Paz Market. Just order a cup of coffee and some bread. Dabest. Will definitely come back in my future visits to Iloilo.

We had an after dinner coffee here during our conference in Iloilo. The coffee shop is trendy and well-decorated. They have an array of unique and delicious coffee and chocolate beverage selections. I liked the hot choco that I ordered and we really had a fun time at this cafe.

MADGE CAFE ATRIA Branch I was drawn to the interior design and decor of this branch : chill, homey and quotes are on point. My husband enjoyed his coffee and I on my smooth, thick hot choco! The meals were basic (tuna silog, tocilog) but prepared well. I like that they include fried banana in the plate; it breaks the savory taste of the meal. Some of their staff are PWDs and hats off to Madge for giving them the opportunity to earn a living. This branch is open from 10AM to 10PM. Telephone : 033 5016673

After having lunch at Netong's in the market, we had a wander around and ended up at Madge Cafe for coffee and donuts. It's a lovely old cafe that probably hasn't changed much in the last 30 years. The manager/owner was very friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed our 'kapeng barako' and delicious calamansi glazed donuts- absolutely yummy! If you are in La Paz Market, it is definitely worth a stop at Madge Cafe to see what 'old Iloilo' was like 30 years ago. It was one of the best places we visited in Iloilo this time, so thank you Madge Cafe- you made my day!

We had a La Paz Batchoy at Netongs so we decided to check madge cafe. The cold caramel machiatto is good at reasonable price. I think people keep coming in this place not only because of food and drinks but also the owner itself. He keep on smiling and attentive to their customers. Thumbs to the owner👍

Coffee is the main reason why people love this place, as you can see on other reviews. You can modify your favorite "kape" based on your preference, from the strength, mix, consistency, etc. I'm a coffee lover and I'd definitely exchange a signature branded coffee with this. I just wish it has a counterpart in Manila.

Madge Cafe is part of the Iloilo Local Coffee experience. It is the “ in “ tambayan of Ilonggos who are vacationing, who just want to meet old friends, to hear the latest political and social buzz, to let time pass in pleasant conversation and a cup of good coffee. Retirees meet here often, and spend hours with friends. There’s a classier outlet at the Atria, if you can’t park at Lapaz Market. What goes with the different kinds of coffee? The popular “ bitchokoy” and other native pastries , if they don’t already run out of stock when you come in.

I visited both the La Paz and Atria branches and both places offer a warm and cozy ambiance. I have only tried their Media Regular coffee tho because once I've tasted it I couldn't get enough of it. There is something about the milk they used that gives it a lovely flavor. We once asked the staff about the milk they used and they answered "it's a secret". I've tried their local breads and their cakes (from Calea) too which are a good pairing to their coffee.
