About 10 or so years ago, Zbarro in Manila was quite good. Their 'Everything' pizza was huge, for sure a full meal in itself. Their spinach lazagna was really good, and those little garlic buns they bake just added to the meal. Their garden salads...were very nice, crispy and fresh. Now????? Dreadful! In Iloilo City's 2 main locations (Ledesma's Robinson's and SM City), their dough is thick and full of globs! On their standard pizzas, little bits of toppings sit on top of that thick slab of barely cooked dough, and in the Everything, the 1.5 inch thick deep dish pizza now is flat and ugly-looking. The scam is obvious to anyone's eye. The spinach lasagna is flatter with fewer ingredients, and is served with the water from the steam table thinning out the sauces into a bad-looking swamp. The little buns are still okay but often are undercooked and need more oven time. The Sbarro at Ledesma is small, cramped and disorganized looking, verging on dirty. The staff work hard but it's obvious the owner doesn't have a clue about what's gone wrong. The Sbarro at SM City has three locations, the main one that puts out the same kind of globby mess as at Ledesma, and is so free of veg and meat toppings that maybe they stampeded out of the mall and lay in some garden patch cos of the horrid dough explosion? The food court Sbarro is just a flaky-looking, but to anyone with a trained eye, the dough overwhelms it all. The little kiosk on the main floor gets its stuff from the main outlet. Every time I go by the main store, there are hardly anyone in it. It's mostly empty. All the customers are at the equally-bad Jollibee, McDo's, KFC, Greenwich, ChowKing, etc., but that's no excuse for Sbarro! When I mentioned my concerns to the staff, they kinda smile and say nothing. Perhaps they know but are locked into working at a bad place. Let this be a warning to all potential Sbarro customers. They are ripping you off. PS My wife and I know good pizza very well, as she used to run a good pizza restaurant in the west. Whereas it was a clear 4 stars, this place needs to be closed for bolabola.More

During my 2 weeks at Iloilo, I’ve eaten at Sbarro twice and I was not impressed both times. Food is mediocre and highly priced. The pizza is not that great, it looks appealing but was disappointing taste-wise. And what can I say about the pasta?...I got it with the white sauce and I felt like I was eating a microwaveable meal. Another thing I would like to mention is to PLEASE train your staff more! I’m not sure if that was the cashier’s first job but it’s like numbers were too overwhelming for her that she can’t even minus a simple amount. It took her a while to calculate (I don’t know why no cash register was used) that even when she gave me my change, it was short. Overall, I guess Sbarro is okay. Just a little below average to my taste.More

Sbarro chicago white is our family favorite. Either made right off the overn or reheated, their pizza is consistently delicious and fast. The restaurant staff are courteous and would assist you during dine in and pack our food well during take outs. For bulk orders...(office or school gathering) you can call in advance and have it delivered. Provided its within the city limits.More

I was able to find Sbarro in SM City Iloilo while shopping for items to bring back home (Pasalubong) and I found the place not a good place for dining and savoring the delicious food it serves so I opted for take out. I was...looking for something to satisfy my indulgence and it was unfortunate the pizzas I liked were not available (but still on their menu). They should have placed "Not available" so customers can limit their choices. Anyway, the facade of the branch at SM City was narrow and the cashier was located at the passageway so customers needlessly bump into each other. The price of Sbarro's pizza slice especially the stuffed pizza which I ordered was equivalent to one whole of ordinary pizza of the rival pizza chain. So it's not really for the mass market. But the quality is sooo good. One slice of stuffed pizza is a huge portion that would fill the tummy up to two meals. It can really satisfy your Italian pizza cravings.More

I like the food here but when i went there two days ago I found my two favorite menu items (eggplant parm & chicken parm) were discontined. Wasnt happy with this decision and why they keep it listed on the menu ?

Everytime I visit its on my list of places I know if I want a guranteed good lunch inside robinsons or SM I can go here. I do prefer the cream sauce over their marinara but the pizza and pasta are always really. Also the...service is very helpful and fast.Eating here while visiting is not a choice it is mandadtory to ensure I have a great trip.More

I often visit Sbarro at the Robinson's Mall and in SM City in Iloilo for lunch. Their baked ziti (with tomato, beef or white sauce) served with garlic bread is my usual choice. Their oven roasted chicken and rice with vegetables and chicken bits are...yummy! The place, however, is small hence it's difficult to find a table during lunchtime (especially during weekends). But other than that, their staff and the food are great.More
