This is definitely a must-stop in Bacolod, I recommend trying other Manokan restaurant as well just for the different experience but Aida's Chicken is a classic go-to place. Highly recommended! It's a little fast paced and very busy- patience is key:)

Aida's was a hit for me and my colleague when we ate here in 2017. However, yesterday we had dinner here and was disappointed with the too sticky rice they've used in their garlic rice. Their grilled inasal chicken isol baticolon are all still juicy...and yummy.. but the rice is so important for me when eating these grilled delights, and I don't want it sticky unless its sushi. Juicy , moist and grilled to perfection. We also ate at their new branch beside the Riverside hospital , taste was consistent and service was fast considering most of the tables were occupied. A must try is their Isol!
Upon researching on where to eat the best bacolod inasal, lots of blogs were suggesting to try Aida's Manokan. I dont know if it is just the first inasal we had when we arrived but we just had to go back again! Chicken was juicy...and very good. The price is very reasonable as well. Downside is it can get very busy and full especially during peak time so service could be a little bit of a challenge.More
Our list of places to dine in in Bacolod included Aida’s Manokan. We ate there on our first night and the food did not disappoint. All our orders were delicious, chicken inasal, pork barbecue, gizzards and liver were grilled to perfection. Inasal rice was a...huge serving per person, we had leftover rice. But the place was full, in the nearby Inasal places there were hardly any diners. Not surprising that the place was hot. With no air conditioning and just electric fans, we ate our food while perspiring. Service was fast but servers had a hard time communicating with non Visayans like us. Our meal amounted to close to 1,000 pesos, with 5 of us in the group.More
I wouldn't recomment this resto simply because their food was not that great (chicken was not that moist), few selections, and poor service.
This place was pack.. its crazy... but then I again, I can understand why there are so many people chooses this place. The food was incredibly delcious. The chicken inasal, mouth watering, finger licking good.

One of the Known Inasal's place in Bacolod is Aida's chicken and last October during the Masskara Festival, we were given a chance to have a taste of it. True enough, the food is delicious. We ordered inasal and tina-i. Their inasal is really tasty...and its not dry. The tina-i is what we call isaw here in Manila and we ordered the chicken one. Unlike the isaw here in Manila, the tina-i in Aida's chicken taste sooo good, that you'll forget its an intestine. It taste differently.More
This used to be the best chicken inasal place for our family for almost two decades. Every time we are in Bacolod this is part of our ritual. For now I won't be recommending this inasal institution to friends. Last visit in July, their inasal...was dry and disappointing. Today many items on their menu are not available. Even calamansi. Ok, it's the long weekend (Nov 1-3) and their supplier probably went on vacation, but the cooking is worse than our July visit. They told us to wait for 20 mins and we thought oh well as long as the inasal comes out excellent, tender and juicy on the inside and not burnt outside just like what they have been serving for many years then it's worth the wait. When the inasal got to our table, it wasn't hot (they always serve it hot), the inside was dry, and the skin was mostly burnt. Even their baticolon and chicken heart were pathetic. They used to be way better than this. We called the attention of the waitress and told her this is our second visit that we are disappointed. She said they've been doing the same thing for years, they didn't change anything. So we talked to our Bacolod friends about it. Some say they've avoided Aida's in Manukan for quite some time now. Others noticed the deterioration too. I won't be coming back here maybe for a year. When I come back I'll leave a new review. I hope they improve and find their way.More
My whole family eats here because of reccomendation of my brother, I've away for 30 years from Bacolod. The food and service and the place is much better compare 30 years ago. Friendly staff, good atmosphere possibly the same as before, accessible and plenty of...parking space. I would suggest to visit manokan country in Bacolod city to taste the difference.More
Poor service. You food takes more than 30 mins to serve. Chicken is too sweet. And most are over cooked.
