Enjoyed the carving station

For those traveling from the US or Europe, they will find Vikings to be a great value. It has a wider selection than the hotel buffers but a a dramatically lower price. I have been here before but did not previously try the carving station, which on this visit featured beef and sausage. The chef cuts them and heats them on a flattop in front of you, so the carved meat is always hot, and that’s important because keeping food at temp is a challenge for some of the large buffets. Overall, great as always.

Excellent Family Experience for Our Family Celebration

We will always recommend Vikings Bacolod for ambience and family friendly international buffet. The food ranges from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Singaporean, Eurasian and many more. There are a lot of interesting food for you to try on and honestly on our nth times visiting this place we can't finish trying all the tasty menus all at once. Our children love the sweets and dessert corner. Yes the combination of healthy fruit juices are the best in one of their corners. The appetizers and chicken salads prepared for us was great. We recommend you to try their salmon and sushis, excellent! The Filipino soups you must try. Oh! we can't say no to the Nachos corner. We kept on returning to meat corner and the lamb meat was tasty plus that roast beef dipped into the BBQ sauce was really delicious. Last but not least there's beer. We were assisted by a very accommodating staffs from the reception to waiters namely Chef Jun Jun Severino, he was there to ensure if we are enjoying our stay and meals. The servers Mr Noel and Mr Jhonrey were ready to help us and when we asked for some information about the dish that seemed new to us like the ingredients they are quick to respond our queries.Great job team Vikings! Long live in the food industry. Our experience for 14persons (10adults with 4 children) cost us only 7000php ++. Worth the international cuisine experience in Bacolod City! Thank you. I wish that your tradition of Vikings dance and singing near the celebrant lives on and please have some wine for us next time 🙏🥳🤩🤩👏👏👏👏

While Viking is expensive relative to many other options, it is better than most hotel buffets and is cheaper than those options The food variety is outstanding. I will admit I stick to the western fare and this time enjoyed some fantastic pork meatloaf that is probably the best thing I’ve ever had here. The pasta was also very good The biggest issue is it seems there is always something wrong with their soda machine. This time the soda was available but it would not dispense ice….so warm cola does not make for a good experience

Don’t waste your time. And money

The visual array of food is both beautiful and overwhelming. The variety of food display is enticing and plentiful. However, much of the food offerings are pretty bland for my taste, and the price is expensive. The desserts are good, but one can only eat so much. Their roast beef was tough and cold. They could do better on their international food offerings.

One goes around to order food. I went for the bbq and roast The meat was precook and heated while one wait. By the time I reach my table to have the beef it was cold. Wanted some other dishes. There was a lot of accompaniments when i ask the person servings the side dish he could not name what each sauce boasts content are. He was serving the side dishes with 1 tsp. Making the taste of each side accompaniments mix. Had to ask him to save each one with different tsp. The fake crabs was hard and tasted powdery. Each item of food is self serve. There was nothing in that resto that I would go back for. If you are a person who want free meal on your bd the resto got a promo for the bd.

For those traveling from the US or Europe, they will find Vikings to be a great value. It has a wider selection than the hotel buffers but a a dramatically lower price. The food quality is good for a buffet and for the most part is at proper temperature. My score would be higher, but the first night we started to eat here we left because their soda machine was not working and they had warm bottles of Pepsi and Mountain Dew as the alternative. The next night we had a planned group outing to Viking and they still had not fixed the soda machine. It’s one thing to have a problem, but another to not correct it. That night I also got some lamb from the carving station and it was mostly fat and gristle

Top grade Hospitality & Excellent food choices that are also vegetarian friendly

Upon entering Vikings restaurant, my spouse and I were greeted with infectious smiles and warm personalities. I am a strict vegetarian, my spouse is not although she does enjoy the wonderful hummus choices they offer. Chef Jun and his staff always make it special effort to prepare additional food since I don't eat meat of any kind. My spouse brags about the fantastic taste of the food They prepared a vegetarian omelet along with a superb dish of tofu with noodles, brown sauce, mushroom and vegetables; prepared especially by Chef Jun. Overall the buffet has many great food choices of beef, liver, chicken and a very impressive seafood and salad bar. Located in the SM north mall, you can start your day with a good morning brunch or dinner later. I give the entire Viking staff and Chef Jun & staff 5 stars all the way.!!!!!!! You can make reservations online to ensure a table ahead of time which I highly recommend.

We recently had dinner at the Viking restaurant in Bacolod. The food was absolutely Delicious. Everything tasted like it was freshly cooked. That’s not usually the case at a buffet. The best buffet I’ve ever been to. The staff was the real reason I’m writing this review. We were treated like royalty. Everyone wanted to make sure that we were happy and that all our needs were met. Even Chef Jun came by our table to ensure that we were enjoying our meal. The biggest surprise was that as I was admiring the desserts (which I can’t eat) Chef and Manager Anton came to me and asked how I liked the restaurant. I explained that I could only admire the desserts. He informed me that he as well couldn’t have sugar. This is when he did something that blew my mind. He proceeded to go into the kitchen and make me a sugar free dessert using his own personal ingredients!!! I have never been to a place that took care of their guests so well. Vikings cease to amaze us!

We are happy to share our experience of enjoying the culinary magic created by Chefs: Anthony & Jun .at Viking's Buffet restaurant. To start with, It was most a joyful delight to taste a complete vegetarian full course brunch as an addition to the expansive buffet that Vikings is so famously known for. Starting with a salad appetizer peppered in surprise spices with light tofu cubes, hidden in secret tangy fillings to include feta cheese paired with an amazing ube mayonnaise salad dressing that was Indescribably delicious. Certainly it was something we had never had before. This magnificent feast of new entrees continued to dazzle us as each special entree dish with a smooth white cream sauce suspended in spices that bathes itself over well seasoned eggplant slices made its presence to our taste palate . The final dessert was a blend of vanilla ice cream swirled in tasty toppings of fruits , melons, crunched graham crackers and syrup that would outshine any Halo-Halo treat for sure. We became regular customers at Vikings, and my wife and I always enjoy the great food by the Vikings cooking team and staff; and how attentive the chefs are at making the customers satisfied due to their creative skills in the kitchen. fantastic food, great ambiance and very accommodating chef Anton Abad. He personally approached the table to ask how's the food and if he can do anything to make even more enjoyable. you dont get this too often in the philippines. definitely coming back there soonest!

Vikings bacolod is one of the excellent luxury buffet I've tried. They really accomodate guest with reservation same with the walk in guest. Staff are very attentive and approachable. Food menu and selection is great and they really value their guest and give everyone a celebration they deserve!

Worth the price

I enjoyed my Vikings experience last day with my friends; the food tasted great. And it also creates a relaxing and peaceful ambiance. Our pictures were taken with grace. I commend the staff of Vikings Luxury Restaurants for being quick whenever I requested extra utensils. Used plates on our tables were immediately taken without us having to repeatedly ask for clean-up.

My wife and I had lunch here and we LOVE IT!! I recommend anyone to experience dining at Vikings Bacolod. Great food with a selection comparable to a Buffett restaurant in the states. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing. The staff was great and very helpful, I personally had the opportunity to speak with Executive Chef Anton Abad. Great guy and very friendly, his customer service is spot on! So thank you Executive Chef Anton Abad and it was great meeting you, keep up with the awesome food and customer service. A very good place to visit with family and friends. The lamb was very tender to eat and their pizzas were also on point. Cant forget the salmon sashimi and tempura too!! It was even more worth it since we availed the BDO promo. We are grateful to be assisted by their servers. Shoutout to Francis, William, Hernel, Carlo and Christine. You guys made our visit memorable.
