This is a modest and honest place that makes damn good Inasal and selected local dishes. You get good service, delicious food and fair prices. Been there three times in two weeks already - just good stuff. Don’t miss it because it doesn’t look fancy...! I’ll be back!More

The service was fast and the staff were really nice. Food is great, but I hope they can improve their consistency. I recommend their spareribs (so good 9/10!) and their chicken is 7/10. Would recommend this restaurant to guests for sure!

A beloved Negrense staple… that needs to be improved. As a Bacolodnon, Chicken house has and always will be a cherished household name. In fact, every time we have guests in Bacolod, chicken house would always be on our list of restaurants to bring them...to. However, there have been times when the quality of the food has been disappointing, both to me and the guests I accompany. The main inconsistency with chicken house’s food, is the preparation of the food. Chicken house’s paa ( leg ) and petso ( breast ) chicken options are served either pre-cooked or rectada. Thus, the quality of the food can vary in texture and overall flavor. Besides the quality of the food served in the restaurant , chicken house can also improve its delivery services, particularly with the quality of their take out products. Though chicken house’s quality can vary when served in house, its quality when delivered ( via grab or food panda ) is more consistent… consistently bad. I am writing this review not to scathe such a great part of our culinary culture, but in a bid to improve what could be an even better experience for the locals, and our guests. Summary: Decent Cleanliness Decent service Affordable prices Inconsistent food quality ( the food options also dont change btw )More

I do love being surprised. I had every reason to believe this would be very average restaurant chain food, but the dishes we had were real tasty. I was very hungry but glad I pulled over to this place rather than the limited options prior...to. Give it a go for sure.More

When we lived in Silay in the 90's, my wife and I used to take the kids to the Chicken House a couple of times a month. Not only was the food good then, it is still good now. Especially the chicken which. they are...famous for. We ate there last March and still found the prices to be reasonable and the food still good. The Chicken House is one of Bacolod's iconic restaurants.More

Was here with church friends. Chicken is awesome but the rice serving is not big enough. You have to order extra rice. The place is clean. Their staff is not that attentive.

I had my dinner last night at Chicken House Lacson St. I ordered spare ribs, garlic rice and 7 up. The spare ribs is ok but not spectacular. I got my bill and gave them my senior iID. The total bill was P205 I gave...the waiter a thousand pesos and I got the change without counting only to learned later that the change was only P695 so instead of getting a discount I paid more but I don’t think that it was intentional. I guessed the cashier is just poor in math.More

My first visit to Bacolod can be traced back to the year 2012, during my college senior year. As we timed it during Masskara, my barely-two-days trip solely consisted of chowing down on Chicken Inasal, partying, rinse, repeat; with a side trip to its famous...falls. I wanted a proper reintroduction to Bacolod so I scheduled a longer trip to Bacolod last October, with the sole agenda of eating my way through the city. As fate would have it, my lovely host for this trip was someone I bumped into during one of those parties years ago, who I ended up reconnecting with during my stint in BPI. She also happens to be the super talented (and my personal favorite) event host and TV personality, Dani Dingcong, who selflessly took the time to take care of me (and my appetite) throughout the trip. After a much-needed power nap (I had a 6am flight), my stomach was growling for some much needed food. First stop: Chicken House. You see, Chicken House blew my mind back in 2012. After that, chicken inasal was never the same again. Everything inasal that I ate here in Manila paled in comparison to Chicken House's. Yes, even Jay-J's. Apart from the wallet-friendly prices, the simplicity of its Chicken Inasal reveals its mastery of the dish. Naturally, I helped myself to a classic Pecho (Php 88) and Garlic Rice (Php25). However, Dani wanted to spice it up my making me try Baticulon (gizzard) (Php28) and its Spareribs. I’m not really big on eating inners, but out of courtesy, I took a small nibble of it. I liked that it didn’t have any funky aftertaste; but I wasn’t too big on its texture. It wasn’t too hard to swallow though after dousing it with some toyomansi and masking it in a big spoonful of garlic rice! On the other hand, I had to stop myself from chowing down their tremendously tender Spareribs (Php150). It was a glistening fatty piece; with its fats lightly charred. Chicken Inasal will always be a must-have in Chicken House, but I think every visit needs to be completed with a plate of Chicken House's Spareribs. It’s simply a fuss-free perfectly grilled slice of spareribs.More

Savor grilled chicken and other Filipino dishes for which Chicken House is famous for. It is one of the best places for dining when in Bacolod City.

We had a pretty straightforward dinner of chicken inasal, pork barbecue and spareribs, but nothing here really that screams extra special. Maybe we should've tried the other inasal stalls instead? And what's up with the 10% air-conditioned room fee?

This is the main reason we go back to Bacolod again and again. One of the best chicken inasal places in the country, bar none (other would Aida’s). Good to know that they’ve expanded to multiple branches and I hope they do so too for...other nearby provinces.More

People come here if they want to eat chicken in a comfortable place with aircon and all. Chicken is average and smaller servings. Not a fan of the chicken but their spareribs is the bomb.
