Great food and service I loved my scallop starter followed by sizzling squid, despite arriving at the same time, they were both excellent. Very fresh and light-unusual for my travels to date within Philippines. Lovely bright and airy venue-worth a visit. Only thing to improve is to consider smaller sea food platters so that solo diners can also enjoy more fresh fish.

Good food with great ocean view

It was lunch when me and my 11 year old daughter ate at this restaurant as we were checked in at The Mark Hotel that time. Yes, this restaurant is the onsite restaurant of the Mark Hotel in Punta Engano in Cebu. We had chicken salad and the korean spiced wings together with a quenching watermelon drink. The serving was meant to be shared for 2-3 people (if appetite isnt an issue - hahahaha). We ate lunch while having this beautiful ocean view that we can see from where we were seated. I super like the ambiance of the restaurant as it looks very colonial , dainty and very relaxing mood.

Excellent experience at the Cabana

Staying for the weekend in Lapu Lapu decided to try the Cabana based on reviews. A big effort for them to open after Typhoon Odette in December, so much damage in the area. Have to say I was not disappointed, food was excellent especially the 500g of babyback ribs - very tender, fell off the bone. Probably the best part of the meal was the table service by 'Emma' very attentive & enthusiastic, really made our evening, a credit to the establishment. Would have no hesitation in returning to Cabana.

It doesn’t get any better. Enthusiastic staff that really seem to enjoy their jobs. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice view. Staff worked to get everyone seated to a window table as they opened up. Menu had a wide variety of unique dishes on a well organized menu with pictures of the dishes. Everything ordered looked exactly as pictured in the menu. After ordering, we were invited to the roof for a better viewpoint of the water. While we were on the roof deck, the servers gave a very enthusiastic birthday song performance. Our food came to our table in a surprisingly short time. Food was very well presented and very delicious. We had the cheese scallops appetizer, chicken mango salad, and the shrimp rose pasta. Mid way through the meal, the staff did a very enthusiastic dance performance where it was apparent that everyone was having fun. After we paid, our server offered us a paid shuttle back to the Sheraton hotel so we didn’t have to wait for a car. The entire experience was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The value of the evenings entire experience was fantastic!

A must-visit restaurant when coming to Cebu, Cabana Restaurant

I first came here for breakfast, but the Korean menu was so delicious that I remembered it and then came to see on the blog that other seafood menus were also delicious! I am so happy that I can experience this level of quality and taste for less than 3,000 pesos. Everyone who comes here must try the cabana plate!! Everything is delicious, and the kimchi fried rice is also amazing!👍🏻 I really missed Korean food on the 5th day of my trip, but it was so delicious~ And the view is very nice as it overlooks the sea☺️😆

We ordered a few items in their menu. Their pasta was actually really good, i love its taste and thought it was the best meal for the night. However, the scallops was rock hard and it was unedible, felt like it was cooked a day prior. We wanted to order crabs but was told it was sold out that day. I felt bad their service staff was undermanned, i only saw 2 or 3 people in the dining and all tables were full when we were there. Would’ve been nice if there were more staff looking out for the tables. But the view was nice on the bright side.

First of all, the pick-up service from the resort was very convenient and good. I made a reservation for an ocean view and visited, but they showed me to an ocean view seat!! It was a little hot, but I turned on the individual fans and it felt cool when the wind blew, which was nice. No matter what food you order, it's all so delicious, especially the mango shake and coconut shake. Order two cups each,,,!!!!! The service is so good, I'm planning to visit again tomorrow^^^^!

CATFISH RESTAURANT. This spot only has 5 star reviews because they give you a free drink if you leave them a review. Do not waste your time or money. The sloppy menu is as if it is designed by a stoned 16 year old and tastes half as good. The cocktails are not cocktails, but RTDs upside down in large glasses. Again, good for a 16 year old. 2 stars because I managed to eat 60% of the meal before stopping in disgust, and also because the flamingo straws in the cocktails were cool.

I've come for dinner with the baby near Shangri-La! I ordered the Pumpkin Pasta and the Half-and-Haf-Jumbas and the Pumpkin Pasta is the best!! I received a pick-and-drop for my reservation at 5:10 and arrived at the hotel on time. I ordered 4 menu items, rib eye steak, Alimango, Morning Glory, kimchi fried rice, everything tastes so-so, the sauce is chili, and the staff is friendly!!! It's worth coming at least once.
