Great place to hang out! You can sit in the main area close to the bar and tennis courts, or you can sit on the grass next to the pool. Either one is amazing! Drinks are good, food is good. Carlo, the owner is a...great host! Staff are awesome, especially Wywy!More

Been to Asmara a number of times and have to say I absolutely love it. The staff are amazing and the food is very good. We are able to play tennis and even swim with the kids although the swimming is slightly over priced in...my opinion the overall package at Asmara is absolutely amazing. The kitchen is really coming in to its own and the food keeps getting better and better. Pizza is the best in the city. I highly recommend Asmara. XxMore

I have been in Asmara couple of time already and by far is one of the best place I have ever got nice drinks and great food. Starting from the bar, really nice decorated with charming chairs and very high class liquors, I’ve got the...best Aperol Spritz since I’m leaving abroad. The restaurant has been done really nice, spacious table, nice decoration, really nice wine glasses. I would say that’s perfect for a friendly dinner or romantic dining since the atmosphere really makes you feel at home. The menu is pretty much full of every things, from pasta to fish, meat , and every dishes is made with passion and love. I stop by every time I’m in Cebu either for a quick drink or a nice dinner. A big credit must be given to the owner, Carlo which has shown really high class standard with a fine Italian touch. Keep up the great work!More

ASMARA REVIEW. After living in Cebu 19 years i can very honestly report that dinner last night was a total disgrace. Easily the worst dinning experience i have ever had. The food was disgusting. Roast potatoes, All 3 servings very very hard. Sent them back,...still came back hard. Chicken cacciatore, a small sticky disgusting mess. The chicken was hard also. My friends steak was served cold My friends pork tenderloin looked more like 2 thin slices of bacon, also served cold. I asked to see the chef and told her, if the chef had been a male i think my comments on his food would have been more, Gordon Ramsey style. They then added insult to injury by giving us free dessert. I thought a good gesture. Till i saw it. Creme Caramel. It was more like incinerated Creme. Almost burn to a crisp. We were there for drinks at 5.30pm and left at 8pm. We were the only ones in the restaurant, what a surprise. The owner was not available for comment. If this has been in the west i would have refused to pay for it, but as is usually the case here it would have came out of the staff wages, and i didn't want that to happen. BTW, Asmara is the old sand trap. Banilad Cebu.More

The place is a good place to relax away from an urban jungle. The resto offers good albeit pricey Italian food.

I usually go to Asmara, the location ambience and drinks are great. But each time I go there and order their food, it’s always a hit & miss. Also, we’ve been charged TWICE even after returning the food back to the kitchen. Which I think...is a NO NO. I suggest Asmara should improve their costumer service. Or they will lose A LOT of costumers, including us. One of the items we’ve returned is their creme caramel that was burnt! (One of the items where we were still charged, then the waitress mentioned if we don’t pay the creme caramel her salary will be deducted. Absurd right?? ) And their supervisor agreed it was burnt but then mentioned it’s how Italians do it. I don’t know about you guys, but I think this is crazy. Here’s a picture of it below. You be the judge guys! :)More

The place is very nice and modern, but the service was terrible. Me and my friend waited for more than 30 minutes for a tiny croissant and a homelette (we were the only ones in the restaurant) the waitresses were slow and we’re quite rude...when answering my questions. To top it all off, one of them burped really loud right next to our table. Disgusting.More

Love the vibe of the place, they have a good variety of bottles which I really liked. Food and drinks are good and the owners are very involved, even serving food and drinks to customers. Recommended!
