If you like small, quiet, hard to find, places to eat...this place is for you! The food was good but not outstanding. This place is listed as a number 2 , but it is a distant number 2, in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong,...the food was good and I will go back again. I felt that the portions were a little small and I didn’t really like the ambiance. When you compare Bon Appetit with the majority of restaurants in Davao City, then it is definitely a #5, but when you compare it with Bondi and Bourke it is a distant #3 for sure. The food was good the service was good, but a little slow; I will definitely return. However, it is not the #1 place in Davao CityMore

First time there with friends. The owner was so helpful with the menu, explaining each dish and gave recommendations with what is good to pair. The apple dish dessert and the breads are so delicious.

Our favourite restaurant in Davao. Frequented the place many, many times whilst we lived at the Marco Polo. The exquisite food is only matched by the generosity and hospitality of Yves and his lovely family. A 5* rating!!! Merci. 😁

This is one of my favorite restaurants I've ever been to - let alone in the Philippines. The food, wine, and service is exceptional - everything from the green olives while you wait to the great wine recommendations to the delicious entrees and desserts is...amazing. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming - it feels like being in France. This place is a hidden gem and I will always go back anytime I'm in Davao.More

I have friends who live part time in Davao and they suggested this restaurant. Oh my gosh what a treat!!! We started with the salmon pastry with spinach and cheese was delicious! The duck was just incredible, the sauce on the duck was to die...for delicious!! The halibut was another hit as was the pasta with the sun dried tomato and basil! I would eat here every week if I could!! The only dish that the four of us was not too crazy about was the pasta carbonara, it was like too much oregano was in this dish. The chocolate soufflé was another great choice. The wine was excellent and the service was perfect. I can’t say enough great things about our meal here. This is a MUST VISIT place while in Davao!!More

To the owner, Wow I get the fact that your very invested in your restaurant, your reviews going down must be very pressing on your mind but why don't you consider that your attitude might be a factor? Let's explore together as atmosphere is important. Question 1) do your employees even like you or are you a underpaying slave driver that takes advantage of the local people? (2) Can u maintain your staff happily or do they just stay because they need work. If you notice they escape at the earliest convenience you got a problem! Next, how about your personal relationships with others 1) do you get along with the customers in general or are you just antagonistic with those that offer you constructive criticism? (2) did notice that probably your neighbors have issues with you too and maybe your own family. My friend go into counseling you have some very serious anger and impulse control issues! I am offering u this advice to be helpful. Lastly, All your regular customers that your referencing might be a mostly foreigners like us not necessarily Filipino. I think you need to reevaluate yourself because it impacts your restaurant- I am not eating thee again because I will never be party to supporting your attitude. I keep thinking karma is a downward slide and only you can change the flow of yours- your friend
