Our dinner before our trip home from the Philippines was here. Couldn’t have been a better choice for us. Traditional Filipino food was delicious and the people working here characterize what we love about the country; they are wonderful, kind and fun loving. We had a party of 8 and none of us wanted to leave to the airport at the end.

I spent just under a month in the Phillipines from Australia. I visited quite a few places and this restaurant was a highlight of my trip. The staff are so very talented and bring a lot of fun to your dining experience. Their singing and dancing was the perfect balance when spending time with friends enjoying a meal. Their voices are first class.
The food prices and menu are also well priced and the food was served hot and in a timely manner. They handled our large group with ease. I’ll be sure to return when go back to the Phillipines

Really great restaurant, tasty food and quality service. The waiters and chefs were very entertaining and put on a great show. Would highly recommend anyone to visit if you are in Manila!!! Fun evening out.

This restaurant was my ultimate favorite part of my entire trip. The energy, the hospitality, the service, the entertainment. It was all TOP TIER. I would rate it six stars if I could!!!! Every individual had the most incredible voice. And they were very comical as well. I laughed till I cried. I 10/10 recommend you HAVE TO VISIT singing cooks and waiters if you are ever in the PI. Every single person in the restaurant was amazing. It was the best experience i’ve ever had. They serve yummy filipino dishes and have the best iced tea as well. I will definitely make it a point to come back.

Oh wow! 😃 This was one of my favorite dining experiences ever. When the waiters started singing I was SO impressed. The music was so good and it was fun to see how much they were all enjoying themselves. My heart was so happy to watch and listen. And the food was incredible!! I’m just here on a layover on my trip to Bali and honestly eating here just made the whole trip worth it. Easily one of the best and most fun meals of my life. Highly recommended!!!

We had a great evening at this crazy restaurant. The musicians are so talented and it is impressing to see their performance and joy and enthousiasm. The food was good so, a highly recommendation and hope to have more great nights next time in Manila.

Compared to other restaurants that showcase Filipino culture, this place has a merrier vibe because it has a mix of traditional and modern songs. The performers are energetic and seems like they really had fun performing which is why the customers are also game to participate at some parts of the performance. They sing, they dance, they do comedy and impromptu cooking! This place is a must visit for people visiting the Philippines.
Only downside is the cramped space. Really hard to walk when going outside the dining area especially during performances where people block the path to take videos and pictures.

What Happened? The Singing Cooks and Waiters Restaurant on Roxas Blvd, Manila not far from the U.S. Embassy, was my most favorite Restaurant in Manila (and still is). I always visited this place for over a decade on every trip. Before the Pandemic (prior to 2020), I rated it 5-Stars+ for the past 8 years. I returned there after the Covid Pandemic in October 2022, and rated it 4 or 5 Stars. They were really great, and the food was good. It just reopened after being closed for a long period. The Pandemic took a big tool on the restaurant industry - much expertise was lost as some restaurants closed for over a year. I went back to Singing Cooks & Waiters again in November 2023, a year later, and I rate it 3-Stars. They lost more expertise including a lack of creativity and craziness they always had. The entertainment needs experienced, enthusiastic and crazy people to draw the crowd. You can get food anywhere. I was pretty disappointed in November 2023. The show was much better in 2022, and crazy good before that. During my November 2023 trip, the food was good, but not exceptional as previously. Everyone used to come to this place because the food was great and the entertainment was insane. You never knew what was going to happen, and I always expected the unexpected -- which made it great entertainment. The crowd was highly international, and even the U.S. Embassy staff had a table there. In 2018 when I was there, we had a large table with the Philippine National Police Swat Team dressed in full armor and weapons laughing their butts off with everyone else. Going to this restaurant was like going to a crazy Family Reunion, with all the nutty relatives there -- and everyone was in the same family. I didn't get that feeling since the Pandemic. Get creative & crazy. What happened to the men in drag? Where is that waiter who would sing and walk up to a table, and then give a poor guy a lap dance while singing. That surprised the heck out of me and my wife, but that is what kept us going back. Fun, party, crazy, and insane entertainment and OUTSTANDING Food. I highly recommend going to this restaurant, because they are normally pretty good. Recommend Friday or Saturday night at 6 :00pm seating. Call for a reservations early.

This is an absolute must do restaurant when you go to the Phillipines. The singing cooks and waiters are so very talented and entertaining. The food is well priced and very nice. The menu has a large selection of meals to choose from. I'll be back when I go to the Phillipines again.

Since 2012, I have made many trips to Manila, but I NEVER miss going to the Singing Cooks and Waiters Restaurant off Roxas Blvd near Mall of Asia. I had a reservation in March 2020, but the Pandemic closed everything down. So when I was in Manila on October 14, 2022 and visited the restaurant on a Friday night, it was the first time since the Pandemic. Thank God it survived. Not only was the food very good, it was as fun as ever. Fun, fun, fun. I normally try to schedule a Saturday night for bigger crowds. This place is nothing like a typical restaurant. If you are the stuffy and boring type and want quiet candle lit dinners, skip this place. If you are adventurous, fun, and bordering on insanity, this is the place for you. It is more like a family reunion of INSANE friends. The entertainment is really funny -- and don't forget to tip the entertainers when they go singing from table to table near the end of the dinner. My wife (her first trip to Manila) laughed and smiled from the time we arrived until we finally left. IT IS A PLACE YOU NEVER WANT TO LEAVE. The Lechon was excellent, along with the other dishes. Never had a bad meal. There were many new Staff there since the restaurant was closed for over a year, but they are working hard to do it justice. I am scheduling another trip to Manila, and this restaurant will be on the "Must do List." Large groups and families are welcome. Bring everyone, even if they are crazy, they will fit in fine at this place.
