Since 2012, I have made many trips to Manila, but I NEVER miss going to the Singing Cooks and Waiters Restaurant off Roxas Blvd near Mall of Asia. I had a reservation in March 2020, but the Pandemic closed everything down. So when I was...in Manila on October 14, 2022 and visited the restaurant on a Friday night, it was the first time since the Pandemic. Thank God it survived. Not only was the food very good, it was as fun as ever. Fun, fun, fun. I normally try to schedule a Saturday night for bigger crowds. This place is nothing like a typical restaurant. If you are the stuffy and boring type and want quiet candle lit dinners, skip this place. If you are adventurous, fun, and bordering on insanity, this is the place for you. It is more like a family reunion of INSANE friends. The entertainment is really funny -- and don't forget to tip the entertainers when they go singing from table to table near the end of the dinner. My wife (her first trip to Manila) laughed and smiled from the time we arrived until we finally left. IT IS A PLACE YOU NEVER WANT TO LEAVE. The Lechon was excellent, along with the other dishes. Never had a bad meal. There were many new Staff there since the restaurant was closed for over a year, but they are working hard to do it justice. I am scheduling another trip to Manila, and this restaurant will be on the "Must do List." Large groups and families are welcome. Bring everyone, even if they are crazy, they will fit in fine at this place.More
