If I will be ask where I would spend my breakfast, Midas cafe will be one on the top list. Midas cafe buffet breakfast offers sumptuous foods surely you will love! Of course not to mention those friendly staff that will greet you on their reception area - name is Sophia:) her smile is contagious. She will assists you to your seat and let you feel that the restaurant is your home. Coffee is freshly brewed. You can see that all staff and supervisor- Emman are all glad- ( their gestures and eye contact) when having conversation with other guests. They are loving what they are doing! Just continue this exceptional hospitality practice:)
We will come back again for sure!

I was attracted with the pictures shown at MetroDeal. When we arrived,I was looking around and foods were not the same as shown in the pictures.Not as many.And presentation of sushi and salmon were not really fresh.Smell is not good.Sliced of fruits were very thin.We will not come back just to eat here.This is not highly recommended.Poor quality

Ate here three times. At lunch, the waiter was clueless and the food OK. The breakfast is great, but both times coffee ran out; the second time I gave up waiting after 15 min. For a 10-floor hotel this is pretty weird.

we had our dinner last night at around 9pm. we sat and we were given the menu, the server gave us time to decide, but then when we were ready to order, we can’t find them. after like 5mins of waving our menu high up in the air, they finally notice it. we only order 1 dish and 1 fried rice, the chicken was good, but the fried rice is awful. after we ate we noticed that they only had 2 tables near windows, one is ours, but we couldn’t find the servers to bill out. we wanted to go already but took us 15mins to bill out. first, there’s a guy walked near our table, we asked for bill out but nobody handed us the bill. after 10mins i needed to walk around and find someone for our check. we wanted to leave already because the car parking was also far from the resto, but took us awhile because the servers were missing when we needed service. no one try to ask the guest feedback, or is there anything else we need, BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL BUSY IN 2 TABLE GUESTS and THEY ARE BUSY PREPARING FOR BREAKFAST even the Black Jacket should not be in his Place because of his Poor Actions, VERY POOR SERVICE. NOT COMING BACK AGAIN.

I was looking forward to our buffet experience coz it looked great in the pic. So since it looked great in the pic, I justified to myself that the P1,500 should be worth paying for it.
So we had dinner... We were contemplating between Yanagi and Midas Cafe. We checked Yanagi first then headed to Midas Cafe next. Upon arrival at the front desk of Midas, we were greeted and briefed what type of dishes they serve in there. International, they said. Since it comes more with variety, we decided on Midas Cafe.
We were ushered to our table, and we started going around. First round, I was already disappointed. It immediately went to my bin of "not-to-try-again". The seafood area was so lacking. Everything else served in the sections were lacking. From salads, appetizers, main dishes, meats...
Like what one post here said... Don't be deceived by the photos you'll see online. It got me... And it got my pocket for the night with total disappointment.
I may sound exaggerating. My apologies, but it is true. I've been to other buffet, and I won't even consider this for a passing one.
Viking ls or Buffet 101 will do way better than them.
(And the ambience, dull with the chairs they used. The turquoise sofas would probably do, but the gold chairs... Oh and the lights too).
But as they say, you'll never know until you try.

I enjoyed the sashimi and the sushi so much! I was here some years ago, probably 2013. There has been a lot of changes with the quality of the menu but still good for me. If only you could turn back time. Yeah?

The food buffet for a hotel of this standard is poor.
Not much choice and always having to ask the staff to refill the buffet section.
Cold food.
Very limited choices.
Powder style juices being offered.
Very slow service to takeaway dirty plates, not staff fault but management employ very few waiting staff so they can’t keep up with demand.
Chefs seem to not understand simple English instructions.
The setting reminds me if something from 1980,s with horrible furnishings and curtains as tackle clothes. Looks like a canteen.
Can of coke Pho170 plus plus, too much for low grade hotel.
So many better buffers on offer in Manila that I would rather pay a little more and have quality and service.
I live in Manila and would not return.

I was a bit disappointed that staffs were a bit slow to serve drinks (usual serving of wine?!!?)
And my colleague quipped, they should be trained more.
Good thing, the food is great. The selection is not that many but enough to be called buffet.

My birthday month was a whirlwind of eating because of sets of friends who
don’t know each other, but who wanted to treat me. For my college chums, I suggested Midas Cafe using a deal/promo and because it would be my first time there.
I arrived and availed of valet service and was early for lunch opening but I was welcomed warmly. The place never filled up which may be a good thing if you like privacy. Since the deal was less then 20 US dollars per head, I would say that the offerings were good enough - but my thought was the Cafe was just a ‘token’ for their casino clients but not for buffet competition, in contrast to the marketing pitch. The roast beef section was empty. The seafoods that time were not that fresh and were tiny. Even the number, volume, size and replenishments reflected its expected small volume of takers. But I was offered cookies, halohalo and ice cream which made me happy. My friends made the most of the offers by having seconds too. I am not a hearty eater but I felt full after 3 hours.The choices of after-meal tea were limited but my faves? I saw them in the hotel lobby tray!So , tell me.😩
Food and good company = happy bonding so “thank you friends”.

We found an offer on metrodeal and decided to go here for something to eat with my husband and his parents. The cafe is very nice with lots of windows. We were given a table with 2 sofas by the windows which gave a nice view of the city. The food was very nice and a lot of the food is made freshly to your order by the chefs. You also have the option for unlimited beer qnd wine for only 600 pesos. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful and they could not do enough to help us. Although we used metrodeal the midas cafe offered their own deal of 1200 pesos mon-thurs and 1500 pesos fri-sun. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice meal.

Cold food that should be hot! If you want Chineese style food your ok, anything else forget it.
Breakfast fried eggs turn to rubber under heat lamps as do the ready made plain omelets. Unfortunately the heat lamps don’t keep the food hot

My friends and I came here for their buffet lunch and I enjoyed most the good selection of fresh seafood which you can ask the Chef to cook to your liking. I particularly like the grilled fresh salmon head and belly and the singang soup that went with it. There was salad, sushi and others for appetizer. Hot dishes were enormous, and they have variety of delicious dessert. Service was efficient and friendly. I recommend this lunch buffet at a discounted price of P1200 per head.

We had dinner at Midas Cafe for my parents' 33rd Wedding Anniversary. I have read from several reviews / feedback that their food selection is quite limited but still decided to gave it a try.
True enough, Midas Cafe has limited food selection in their buffet table but the taste of the food and customer service saved them.
I commend the staff who were very attentive and accommodating to all our needs.
Also the ambiance of the restaurant is ranging from too simple to almost boring for a 5-star hotel like Midas.
It needs a little improvement on the physical appearance of the restaurant and additions to food selections to make it worth the price.
