This was quite the experience. We shopped for fresh fish and shellfish next door (super expensive) while a rep from Claire hovered nearby to take note of how we wanted the items cooked. Once inside the restaurant, our dishes arrived. It was mostly a forgettable experience. The worst part was the scallops which we asked about later in the meal and which they had evidently forgotten to serve after they were cooked - when they did arrive, the butter had all congealed on each scallop shell. It was disgusting and the expensive mollusks went uneaten. When we asked for an adjustment to their cooking fee, they refused. Save your money and go to a good seafood restaurant elsewhere. Between price of seafood and food prep fee at this restaurant, our party of 4 spent about 7000Php for lunch, and the food wasn’t even abundant. I was actually hungry an hour later!

Long time before food arrives. Slow service. Not the ambiance you want . But the seafood is fresh . Cooked to your liking, servings are for sharing . Feasted on pork liempo , crabs , vegetables and different shrimp prawn variants .

This place is ridiculous! The servers are rude and unaccommodating for sure! Not only did they mess up my meal they served it to me cold! I was very excited after reading the reviews to experience this place and it was absolutely a nightmare. After I ask them to box my food to go they just stood around and stood around and when I told them I needed to go they told me to calm down. I tried to explain it I had to be somewhere and I needed my food to go and they still just stood around and didn't care about customer service whatsoever. My meal is over 2,000 pesos for myself and I feel very ripped off from this unprofessional establishment!

Went here for Sunday lunch, and it as packed. Their cooking was great. We had buttered garlic crabs, sweet chili shrimps and baked scallops.
Downside was the wait. Took them more than 30 mins to complete our orders, but we had to cancel one dish 'cause we've finished eating and the dish was still not served. They told us that they totally forgot about it.

It's my birthday! so i choose the restaurant (paluto) that i think would be the best. but to my disappointment this would be the last that i will eat on this Restaurant!
the Customer service was worst,
I ordered Shrimp tempura, buttered shrimp, Calamares, Chopsuey, grilled liempo, sweet chili crab and baked tahong. The foods are already served after estimate around 30 mins of waiting but the chopsuey, grilled liempo and baked tahong are not served. So i follow up for around 8 times but still the waiter said it is still cooking. After around another 30mins of waiting it serves but we already lose our appetite for waiting too long.
but theres more! worst part is we market all the main ingredients from blumentritt not in dampa itself and we observe that the volume of the items we bring is not exactly the volume that they serve.
We bring 1 kilos of shrimp but they only serve 2 plates of this. (See attached photo)
I hope that you won't experience what ive experience... Worst restaurant in Dampa that il try 👎

I went there with my family to Celebrate my sister's Birthday, which is yesterday, were 20 pax and reserved a VIP room. My complain are as follows, VIP rooms isnt clean and they didn't clear that the use of VIP room has a minimum of 5000 pesos for only 2 hours, and 500 additional for every hour that we didnt order food. Second toilet is dirty and i have to remind them to put tissue paper every time which they didn't do. 3rd, Glasses are not properly cleaned and wiped. 4rth. Service is very bad and slow, and servers isn't attentive. 5th they are overpriced.
Lastly, when we asked for the bill and we double check and found out that the bill isn't correct they overcharged our bill more than 1000 pesos.

There's 11 in our group, we spent about 3000 pesos for a kilo of shrimps, squid, mussels, tanigue (white fish), and 2 kilos of chicken. They charge 180 pesos for half kilo and 250 peso/kilo to cook them. We had garlic shrimp, calamari, baked mussels, kinilaw na tanigue (similar to ceviche), lemon fried chicken and tinola (chicken with broth). Plus rice and drinks, they add up to 6000 pesos all together for a nice meal for 11 people very reasonable.
Cooking wise they're all very tasty, the restaurant is clean w/airconditioning, clean, a bit slow in cooking and service. They need to automate their receipt, it's the 21st century. We're such in a hurry I didn't have time to check it thoroughly.
I recommend it for folks visiting to get the experience of shopping for your own seafood then walking across to your resto to cook the seafood you just purchased.

Service standard needs to be upgraded, based on the following categories:
01 They need additional service staff. Attending staff needs to be attentive.
02 Dining venue needs to be refurbished likewise the furnitures.
03 The restroom is dirty.
04 Their prices are expensive.
It is good that they have ample parking spaces.
Note: I love the place, it was not my first time to dine here but I hope that they will immediately take action of the said concerns.

We purchased shrimp and crab at the dampa and took it to Claire's What a mistake.
We ordered 3 sauces,....garlic butter was ok....the other 2 sauces were supposed to be spicy but they were not.. The worse thing though is that they severely overcooked the shrimp and crab. No one enjoyed the meal. Service time is also very slow....i guess now it takes time to over cook your food.
3 kg of food, 3 drinks ( shake, buko and water) 1800 pesos way over priced to over cook food.
The dampa is pretty expensive, but if you must go, hopefully you can find a place that knows how to cook food. Claire's is not it.

Went here for a try. I love the seafood greens-lato. The shrimps were cooked the way we ordered. We understood the conditions. extra fee for the cooking.and the venue. No problem as long as we ended to have the best lunch today.
I will recommend this to my former colleagues. No t everyone knows this place if you are from the province.
We will be back!

Great place to visit, its unique as you are surrounded by markets. You barter for your seafood then take to the restaurant and they will cook it for you at a price. Best to take a local as they do the bartering for you. The fish was cooked superbly by the restaurant.
Unique and different, I would go back again. Definitely worth a visit
