I had an amazing dining experience at Hua Yuan! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious—everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The dim sum was a standout 🥰🥰
What made the experience even better was the exceptional service. A huge shoutout to Monique, Nathan, Nikki, and Patrick! They were so attentive, accommodating, and made sure everything was just right. Their friendly attitude and genuine hospitality really made my visit special.
If you’re craving authentic Chinese food with top-notch service, Hua Yuan is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back for more great food and wonderful service!

The die-hard travel trio and a Filipino friend were hosted to dinner at this well known Chinese restaurant at Hilton Newport.
The steamed garoupa fish was steamed Hong Kong style. The fried pork knuckle with pepper and garlic was very tasty. The fried soft shell crab was fresh and well done. The double boiled soup was a tard salty for me. There was also prawns,etc. We did not leave room for desert. A good dinner treat.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Hua Yuan, thanks to our incredible server, Monique. From the start, she made us feel welcome and at ease.
Her deep knowledge of the menu was impressive. She guided us through the options, explaining ingredients and flavors with enthusiasm. Every recommendation she made was spot-on, and we loved every dish she suggested.
Beyond that, Monique was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a great time. She truly elevated our meal, and we can’t wait to return.
If you visit, ask for Monique. You won’t be disappointed!

Food takes ages to arrive, comes in random order and key dishes are not available.
Booked 7pm for a family birthday celebration and went to the restaurant during the day to confirm the booking. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived. Ordered roast pork, bbq pork, roast duck two ways, steamed fish, noodles, rice, veggies and drinks.
Informed no bbq pork available. Strange for an early booking at a Cantonese restaurant. But, no problem. After taking our order the waiter came back a while later - no roast duck, pretty disappointed as it was one of the main reasons for booking but still fine.
Waited ages and no food besides some complementary rice cakes. Eventually, some of our drinks came - the rest took another 15mins or so.
In the meantime staff were fluttering about two tables loading them up with food. Then staff appeared with two roast ducks and began carving them in front of us before serving those two tables.
We were really hungry.
After a long time rice, noodles, veggies arrived. Then a waiter put roast pork on the table, said sorry and took it away, then brought it straight back. Weird. It was pretty small: nine cubes in total. No fish or duck. We ate quickly and were still hungry. I spoke to the manager who said the other tables had ordered the BBQ duck a day in advance and he would follow up on our remaining dishes.
The fish came after another 10-15 mins. We’d finished our noodles by this stage. So ordered another round to go with the fish and another serve of BBQ pork.
The noodles took an eternity. By the time they came we had finished the fish and the second round of pork. Still no duck.
Every 10 mins or so the manager would walk past our table bark “smoked duck” into his microphone. But it didn’t help. A whole duck arrived eventually. It was really tasty. But by this time we were all tired, fed up and just wanted to go.
I had organised the dinner and was pretty embarrassed about the whole thing.

I went for the all-you-can-eat dim sum lunch. After seating me, the wait staff ignored me completely. Didn’t bring me water or tea. I waited for about 15 minutes and then waved someone down to take my order sheet.
They came out with two small plates really quickly, but I had to ask for water because they never brought me either water or tea. After the first two plates, no other food came out for a long time.
The food was mediocre. Everything was bland and tasteless. Spare ribs in black bean sauce is one of my favorite dishes, and it’s hard to mess up. But theirs was extremely bland. The chicken feet had a freezer taste—the sort of taste meat acquires after sitting in the freezer for too long. I normally LOVE sticky rice in lotus leaf, but this one was—you guessed it—bland.
I would say the best dishes were the crystal dumplings (har gao), the curry fish balls (not a traditional dim sum dish), and the won ton soup (but only because I dumped a bunch of vinegar in it to give it flavor). The salted egg bun (a sweet custard bun) was alright too if you like that sort of thing.
Overall, I would not recommend this place. If you have to eat at the Hilton, you’re better off going to Kusina for their buffet. Also, if you’re at the Hilton, try the pina colada at the Port bar. They’re made to order with fresh pineapples, and they are delicious.

Hua Yuan Brasserie Chinoise at Hilton Manila is renowned for its excellent service and authentic Chinese cuisine, spent dinner time with my family here. The staff is attentive and professional, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The dining experience is enhanced by the prompt service, ensuring that guests enjoy their meals without unnecessary delays. Popular dishes include the Peking duck and dim sum, which are highly recommended by patrons. The ambiance, coupled with the high-quality service, makes Hua Yuan a standout dining destination in Manila.

Foods are very delicious and have authentic taste. The place and ambience is very classy and cozy.
Great service from the receptionist armie, and service staff nikko and nikki are both attentive and helpful. The chef also took time to greet and ask us about the food.

The 1 star is solely for the work of the chefs. The food here was good but the service was incredibly rude. Once all our food was delivered the staff literally and deliberately ignored us even when we tried to pay our bill. I politely called the waiter, he looked at me and walked away. No one came to check on anything like we were eating at a fast food establishment. Mind you, there were only 4 other tables occupied other than ours. One in particular was obnoxiously loud but they were treated respectfully. My mother had to walk up to a counter to get someone to help or even look at us.
As diamond status members, my family has relied on the Hilton for years to provide a relaxing and memorable experience for our travels. It’s unfortunate that a restaurant like this is invited to sully the experience of staying at one of their hotels.

A beautiful restaurant with a very extensive menu.
My lychee martini was very good.
Unfortunately my Schechuan chicken was not spicy at all, I have been to that region in China and it should be spicy. My excellent server brought it back to the kitchen and the chef added more spice much to my disappointment it did nothing for the spice level. I guess the chili's were old or not stored properly.
My mango dessert was yummy.
I would return and order something else or try the chili's first to see if they are hot!
They were kind enough to take it off of my bill.
I hope the Hilton appreciates Sheila she is excellent, thank you making my evening!

This place is the one and only place i would bring anyone you want to impress. The food was to die for. I highly recommend their salted egg prawn and their Roselle Tea Chicken.
Just be aware that youll go in a food coma after eating! We really enjoyed dining here.

Tried their All You Eat Dimsum and we found it delightful! The taste was clean and distinct yet not overpowering. For soup, we loved the hot and sour and mini wanton. The latter was a surprise because of the tempered flavor. We tried to sample everything but lacked tummy space. Our favorites were the shrimp dumpling, curry fish ball, taro puff, radish cake and pork bun. We've had these in other places but these were excellent in Hua Yuan. I also found their Charsiu and HK chicken amazing. Its the texture that elevates it. The chicken was neither flaky or dry while the pork just melts in your mouth. Our compliments to Chef Fang and Chef Xu. Everything that was served was not too salty or sweet so you get to enjoy the subtle flavors. Their staff and service was also great - attentive and friendly without being invasive. We took our time savoring the dishes. 😁 We will surely come back.

The vibe was relaxing and calming when our meal was served. During the time, that the dishes were being served, I took notice of the appearance of the dishes and added to the vibe of the place. Apart from this, carlito's service was exceptional throughout the evening. I would like to go back and spend a birthday celebration again.

We went here for Monday lunch and it's nice because there arent a lot of people. The distance between tables are comfortable so that each group has their own privacy.
We availed of the Yum cha unli dimsum and it was a very worthy deal. Our favorites were the Mushroom bun, cartoon bun, deep fried taro puffs, and egg tarts.
The taro puffs had a playful texture in the mouth as I enjoyed the meat inside. Simillar to a taro puffs I've tasted in China.
Overall, it was an enjoyable and pleasant experience! Staff was exceptionally friendly, hands on a and gave a lot of recommendations on their favorites which helped us choose from their plentifil menu. A must try indeed :)
