Impressive 5 star hotel with fabulous Chinese restaurant-China Blue

An elegant receptionist greets you at the restaurant and leads you to your table passing a stylish modern designed wall and dining tables with beautiful well-crafted dinnerware’s that add the sophistication of the entire restaurant. The restaurant is spacious and quiet as tables are set apart to provide complete privacy as you passionately enjoy sipping your Green tea with a fantastic Manila sunset view. For Amuse bouche, they served crunchy crackling with home-made vinegar. The vinegar dip is best to pair with crackers, we all had the same comments. Fantastic dip! We ordered Pan fried codfish served in a pot, home-made tofu, scallop fried rice and deep fried pumpkin with salted egg. All the dishes that we ordered are delicious and beautifully crafted. If you could find the top and charming service staffs, Erwin, Sonny and Karen you could be pampered by their 5 star pleasing personality. They were so attentive and courteous always on the edge to see that our tea cups never reach bottom. If you want to be pampered and taste authentic Chinese cuisine this is the best choice restaurant.

Top-notch Chinese restaurant situated in one of the best hotels in the Metro

Being a person who’s been to various Chinese restaurants in the past, I wasn’t expecting any difference. That’s why I was surprised and overwhelmed by the large food selection they’re offering to its customers! Every dish we had was amazing and satisfying, making its price value justifiable. Chinese New Year

After a great massage in Conrad Spa, we went down to eat dinner at this nice restaurant to celebrate CNY. They have great food . I ordered lechon macau, brocolli and asparagus in garlic and it’s super good . I love it. The ambiance is also nice , the waiters are helpful recommending nice dishes and frequently ordered menus. I love China Blue and highly recommended to all types of people.

Almost a year ender celebration 🎉

My friend and I had dinner at China Blue last Dec. 30. I must say that their food and staff did not disappoint. I really loved their boiled sweet nuts as pre-starter. We had shrimp wasabi, chicken peppercorn, and seafood fried rice which were all recommended by their staff Reena. I also had hot and sour soup to help me get through my colds and sore throat. I also enjoyed it in terms of taste and the way they served it in a nice bowl placed on top of a mini candle to preseve its warmness was really cool. Banjo was very attentive as well. He made sure that our table was well taken care of. We will definitely come back! 🙂

Compared to other Chinese Restaurants the services rendered is very satisfactory. Food served specifically the Shrimp wasabi and sweet & sour pork with strawberry are very sumptuous and tasty. Food servers, Josh and Diane, are very courteous and accommodating particularly to what the customer needs.

Great dinner for mums birthday. Joshua was a great host.

Came here for my mums birthday. What a great choice, food was great with a good variety of dishes, ranging from fairly priced to steeper if desired. Best service received in quite some time - special shout out to Joshua who was great - very attentive, had good knowledge regarding dishes, and was super friendly! He also took some really nice photos! Christian and Erwin were really good with service too. Overall great experience, with food quality noticed. Would definitely return.

China Blue falls in that special category of restaurants we pnly save for the most special occasions. Food is exquisite and expertly crafted while still holding fast to traditional flavors. Their service is impeccable with great detail to warmth to the customers. Special shoutout to our server, Rodel, who ensured our experience was excellent. His suggestions on our dishes hit the spot and struck the perfect balance of flavor.

Words cannot explain how good eating here it is. What an absolute delight, every bite you take the food just dances on your tongue, teasing you with tantalising tastes well spiced well prepared meals. You can see Is prepared not only professionally but with a great deal of care and precision. It truly is a wonderful thing to see in restaurants now days unfortunately it is getting less and less frequently. I can highly recommend this restaurant to anybody that wants to come just for a great night out, or for a special occasion, this place is amongst the very best you will ever see.

Amazing Staff & Über Delicious Food

Came here to celebrate my parents’ birthdays. Luckily they opened right on the day of. It was a run around to get to the restaurant from basement parking, and a handful of safety precautions before entering the hotel building to the restaurant-—which is understandable given the circumstances.They have set extraordinary measures to keep the staff & guests safe from covid. It was a lot of work for the servers having to portion the food for 8 people, clear the plates (that was a lot of plates! LoL) but they were all friendly & happy to serve us. I didn’t even have to ask to take a photo of the food, they just automatically set it in front of me before portioning the dishes meticulously to individual clean plates every time. I have had a lot of Chinese dishes from HK to Macau, & Canada, but I gotta say, theirs was up to par—some were even better or the best I’ve had. Price was so-so, but definitely reasonable for the quality of the food. BIG THANKS to our servers Joshua, Lady & Dunn—-you guys are awesome!!! And bravo the Chef, job very well done! Thank You for checking up on us, we felt extra special. 🥰🥰🥰

In a League of Its Own

My wife and I came in for the final day of our Valentines weekend (Sunday) and looked forward to yet another lovely meal at China Blue and it excelled! 2 orders of Har Kaw which are simply the best not only locally but where compared to Hong Kong, Singapore, et al... their version of the Ham Sui Kok which is crafted to look like a smallish green pear, radish with XO sauce, rice noodles topped with char siu... All were sublime and really a step over the traditional! Each dish is as it always has been... the raddish dish was fried a bit too long and when pointed out to the service staff - they immediately offered to and did replace the dish. Diane who was our server is excellent in product knowlege, hospitality and service. The dining decor and ambience tops off a complete and memorable dining experience.

Anniversary

We celebrated our anniversary at China Blue and the ambiance was absolutely romantic especially since it’s overlooking the bay area. The food was perfecly plated and it not only looked good but also tasted delicious! I want to thank China Blue for the off-menu dessert they served us and also the complimentary anniversary Strawberry cake which both has beautiful food plating! The waiters were so helpful, attentive and proactive especially Joshua who changed plates every serving assuring quality of the food and even took presentable photos of us. Just look at the photo attached of us! 🥰

Great food, especially with promo

Ordered sweet and sour pork, wasabi prawns, 3 cups chicken, shiitake mushrooms, homemade tofu, and yifu noodles. Everything turned out great. Flavorful, yet light enough to keep eating. Service was great from Christian, Dunn, Onie, and Jeff. Look for them when eating here.

Double Anniversary Celebration

Great food, stylish ambiance and outstanding service. If you're overwhelmed with the array of choices, just ask any of their staff for recommendations and they'll not steer you wrong. Everything was great from appetizers to the jasmine tea. Stand outs were: shrimp salad and the crispy salmon skin with mango vinaigrette.

A Worthy Place for a Golden Birthday Dinner

Celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday here. Was given a very romantic table by the window as we saw the sunset go down on Manila bay. We were assisted by Dunn and Diane, both very, very helpful and courteous (thanks to them for preparing a cake with candle). Ordered all the recommended stuff like mushroom truffle buns, salted egg pumpkin, crispy sweet and sour pork, shrimp with wasabi and mango, custard buns and finally HK seafood noodles. The servings were huge for two people and the taste of each dish was not your normal Chinese resto taste. Everything was really uniquely good! Actually extremely good. The food could be a bit warmer though (probably we were eating too slow while enjoying the ambiance) but overall, it was a very, very good and memorable dinner. Already planning my return visit in 2021!

To start off, customer service is 10/10. Our waiter was Joshua DUNN. He assisted us from start to finish. Staff are very kind and approachable. Most of their food are really good too. I feel that their prices are averagely priced just like other Chinese restaurants, however, one catch is that their servings are little (maybe good for only 1-3 people). My family and I consists of 5 people. We ordered their signature seafood fried rice, homemade tofu, beef asparagus, shrimp wasabi, fishlip minced fish, duck golden, eight hour broth, and mango sago. Overall, i would rate the food a 8.5/10. Most of the are good while some are average.
