The congee is great but the dimsum sucks. Staff is slow but friendly. Their baked rice varieties are hefty.

Stopped by for lunch. Food is tasty specially the baked curry rice. I ordered stir fry veggies, curry rice and fried spring rolls. All of which are really good. Serving's big too. Baked rice is good for 3-4 persons. Will be back.

Visited this restaurant after checking out with Zomato. Ordered beef ampalaya rice toppings and seafood noodle soup. Waiter suggested seafood noodle soup serving is quite big, and since Im having rice, why not opt for a simple bowl of soup instead. I listened, and ordered...Seafood with Nori and Tofu soup. I immediately regret when the soup was served. The bowl is too small for me (I love soup, especially seafood noodle soup!). While I enjoyed fully the rice toppings, the soup is a cheat. For 100 pesos, I don't believe the soup is worth it. On my next visit, I ordered again the same beef ampalaya rice toppings as I really enjoyed it the first time. And this time, I ordered the seafood noodle soup. Again, all praise to the rice toppings. But the seafood noodle soup is again, a big disappointment. I hardly find anything on it to justify it as a seafood noodle soup. The noodles are quite dry, despite being in a hot soup! To me, it tasted just like an instant 2 minute noodle soup you can buy in the Philippines. Fact is, Nissins Ramen's instant seafood cup a soup is a lot lot lot better!More

Most Chinese restaurants spike your food with enough msg to kill a cow. Last time I ate at Manhan I ambled off feeling half drunk from the ajinimoto. Not so with MrChoi. They use salt. Lots of it. You can taste the salt especially on...the noodles. If youre starved and need a quick fix this is the place for you. Dishes fly at your table in ten minutes or less. Prices are like carinderia. Thing is, staff isn't so cheery... Like management forgot their bonusesMore

We were staying in Mandaluyong near Robinsons Mall, once we tasted the food in Mr Choi's Kitchen, we took the opportunity to return and sample the many different dishes on the menu. I particularly enjoyed the lemon chicken, the beef, the mango smoothies went down...a treat with our group and the staff were very friendly and helfpulMore

We've seen Mr. Choi in Robinson's malls but was not able to try it until now. The food was good that we dined there twice. :) The Place The restaurant was located in the Ground Floor of the mall. It was spacious and has 2...levels. We were seated in one of the couches. However, despite the big floor area, the tables seemed to be positioned closer than necessary, perhaps to squeeze in as many people as possible, challenging the waitstaff in moving around. The Service There seems to be a disconnect with the waiters and their Supervisor. The former was nicer than the latter, who was not paying close attention while we were ordering. We had to ask him to repeat our orders to make sure he got it right. The hubby noted that he was not also dressed appropriately (his polo shirt was unbuttoned way down, giving the unhygienic impression). The waiters meanwhile, are friendly and attentive. They accommodated our requests with efficiency. The Food We got the following staples: Yang Chow - it was flavorful, but the portion seemed small. We might have imagined it, but the half order seemed more than the full one. Sweet & Sour Pork - just like how it's supposed to be: tender meat, tasty sauce, not too overpowering. Lechon Macau - this lacked the saltiness. And the serving was small for its price. It's a good place to satiate one's Chinese food cravings. We'll be back soon. :)More

Being so disgusted with this dining experience, I had to write this as soon as possible. We ate at the restaurant today - 18th Feb. 2017. Bill No. 211625. Table No. B02/1 at 20.24. The time of writing this report is 2150. The BF Brisket/Wnton...soup was absolutely tasteless - the stock had no flavouring in it at all and teh brisket of beef was so fatty that I could not eat any of it. The Mango shake was also tastless - just full of ice and very little mango in at all. We mentioned this to the manager/supervisor who offered absolutely no apology whatsoever. AS we were rushing to visit the store before closing, we did not pursue this complaint. Upon requesting the bill, the manager/supervisor then refused to accept the official senior citizens card . This was the last resort but instead of staying and arguing the point - as we were shopping prior to closure, - we just left and paid the full bill and I immediately came on lien to report this rudeness and disgusting food.More

This is your typical good neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The staples are all good: the asado, the sweet and sour pork, the birthday and crispy noodles, the lovely giant tub of taho. But my favorite all all favorites in this restaurant is the Supreme rice, especially...the seafood and curry varieties. Simple, but oh-so-satisfying. The Ortigas branch of Mr Choi is near the Golds Gym entrance of Robinsons Galleria on the opposite side of EDSA.More
