Thai is one of my favorite cuisine. Love the spices tho I prefer mild versions. Love phadthai, bagoong rice, chicken pandan, soft shell crabs etc. Of course, I wouldn't miss the desserts esp the mango with sticky rice. Sawasdee...

Authentic Thai Food

They had a lot of choices in their menu. The staffs were friendly and attentive. We received our orderless than 10 minutes despite the fact that there were quite a lot of customers that day. All their food tasted authentic.

Pleasant, but small portions

Nara Thai Cuisine is well fitted out and given it is in a major shopping centre, quite homely. Staff were mostly good, but portion sizes of my fried chicken and especially the coconut ice cream with durian dessert were on the small side. The bill including a Coke was P438. It included a five per cent 'service charge', a trend I do not like anywhere in the world. By all means if I want to allow me to leave a tip but Philippines is a no tipping country by and large.

Very disappointing

Horrible service… average food, their menu offers nothing new. Same Thai food you would find in any other Thai restaurant. Very poor planning on the part of the kitchen. I ordered my dessert with my dinner at 7:30 PM only to be told after that all they have left is ice cream. Really? Chef needs to know how to plan his food better. Never coming back

Must visit for Thai food lovers!

This is not your typical Thai restaurant. They received an award from the Thai government of offering authentic Thai food. It helps that they have a Thai chef. A must visit for those who enjoy Thai food!

Yumm food, service could be improved

The taste of this original Thai restaurant is always really good. I never got disappointed and I can recommend to take one of their yummy desserts! Although the service could be improved a little bit and the staff needs some more training I recommend this place for some Thai food.

We ordered the appetizer sampler. Everything was good! The green curry was also yummy and spicy. I am not that excited for the Phat Thai noodles. I think it needs revisiting by the chef.

Solo traveler. Had pad Thai and Tom yam soup, spicy shrimp. Very food and also attentive service. The manager even mixed my pad Thai. These details show the waiters care. Can recommend.

Great Thai Dining Experience

Ate here with my friends... the food is delicious especially the Tom Yum and Bagoong Rice. The place is well- decorated with a Thai ambiance. The servings are quite small though, that’s heh down-side. We had a very attentive waiter. I camn eat again in this resto.

Second visit tbis year to Nara and the green chicken curry is good n spicy The new menu does not have the spring rolls as a single order but rather as a starter combo Despite asking they wete not willing to accomodate any requezt Worth a visit

Authentic Thai Foods

My daughter & I had our lunch at Nara Thai Cuisine in SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. Their pad thai & chicken curry were authentic Thai in taste. We also liked their watermelon shake. We heard that the resto were always full and you have to wait to get a seat but since we went there quite late for lunch and it was on a weekday, we were accomodated immediately.

Welcome to Manila!

It’s a multi-awarded restaurant in its native Thailand. It’s now in the Philippines. We have long wanted to try it, but the long lines on weekends dissuaded us. Now that the Saturday lunch crowd has stabilized, we finally got our chance. Must-try is the BAGOONG RICE which is the yardstick by which I rate a Thai restaurant. Excellent! Have this with TOM YUM GOONG, CRISPY PRAWN PANCAKE, and CHICKEN IN LIME SAUCE, and you’re in for one memorable meal. Have to return soon and try other dishes.

Superb Thai food

Here is what you can say as authentic Thai foods in Manila. The foods are so delicious. We tried their masaman beef curry, so good. There is the fresh shrimp also, and their pomelo salad! And their pad thai. Many many more. I did not take pictures coz we were so hungry. Queueing.... esp holidays and weekends.

Pricey...not worth it!

My wife and I tried this restaurant - this is a franchise from Thailand and had high expectations. What met us was high prices with small servings! They had a duck dish that tasted like meatloaf. Serving was barely enough for 1.5 persons and it costs P650. Definitely not affordable! Service was good but that's about it. It was hard getting out of their bench chairs. You can get better value for your money elsewhere!

Poor customer care

I’m a strict vegan and always finding hard to get food not contaminated with animal by products. I ordered kangkong which is our local cheap vegetables. I enjoyed the food although quite pricy. However, the customer service is extremely poor. The kangkong was served and I have to wait for the bowl of rice to come. No one ever come to my table to find out if I needed anything else. I have to call the staff few times. Soon after I finished I asked to see the manager, she came with placid facial expression, not hospitality place at all. “Yes ma’am?” I raised my concerns and yet no emotions at all. Really? I said “ food is nice but no customer service”. I left with no tips. Pros: good food Cons: no customs service
