We didn’t appreciate that this restaurant was closed when it said it was open in Google. Worse was, when we arrived, nobody minded us and when we were getting their contact number, they just continued on with their family event. Will never visit back again.
Once you taste it, you will remember how crazy and cultural the streets of Ho Chi Min and Hanoi are. For every crunch of Bahmi you will have a glimpse of the local restaurants and the people who mastered their own auroma.
It’s a must try that never seems to fail
Too often I’m disappointed in a return visit to most restaurants, failing to live up to expectations of previous visits
This is not the case at Bon Banjmi
I’m from Sydney and we have very good...options there for both Pho n Banhmi
This restaurant is as good as I’ve eaten anywhere authentic n true taste of Vietnam
N to find it here in the back streets of Makati a short walk from my hotel, what a bonus
Staff has limited English but always curious n attentiveMore
I have oordered Bahn Mi Sandwiches from Bon Bahmi and they don’t dissappoint. The home made baguette is deliciously crispy outside while soft to the bite inside. My favorite is the traditional bahmi with home made pickled veggies, yummy pate and home made salami and...ham slices with coriander and lettuce. This tim e we ordered their Beef Pho which alrrived with fresh veggies and bean sprouts and their spring rolls - both the fresh and fried ones. The pho was served hot and steaming with flavorful broth! It was delicious and authentic it brought us back to the hole-in-the-wall Pho shops of Hanoi. The fried spring roll was crunchy and ldelucious. The healthy fresh variety came with an excellent peanut sauce. We will definitely go back.More
Walking around San Antonio Village in Makati, we stumbled upon this home-resto along Mayapis street... road construction all over the village, you can miss the signboard.
We came in a small space with about 3 tables and a glasscase with meat and bread displayed. I...asked where is the main resto? The lady pointed me towards a side door entrance to the main dining room.
Dining area had several tables and nice cozy interiors; vietnamese dolls, coned hats inverted as lighting fixtures..
We ordered spring rolls and some stew ... food was very good and we had extras to bring home.More
Obviously known for their Banhmi, this is a good option if you want a healthy sandwich for takeout. (You could opt to dine in but space is very limited.) It's pretty easy to eat on-the-go but the sauce can make it a bit messy. The...sandwich is very crunchy outside but soft inside. Be careful not to injure your palate; try facing the top part of your Banhmi towards your tongue.
Check out their extension "Bon Pho" if you want some Spring Rolls or Noodles.More
This is my choice of breakfast whenever i crave for their sandwich without cilantro. Its the crispy bread that makes me wanna go back to this Vietnamese sandwich stall. The sandwich is big enough to satisfy my hunger in the morning. I only buy the...medium size for 99 pesos.More
I had just exited the drugstore in Ayala 30th mall when I noticed their stall off to the side. I took a look and decided to try one after seeing that their banhmi was quite big (you can share half with a friend without resenting...it) and relatively cheap (P119) as compared to other Vietnam sandwich places in the metro. The bread was crunchy and the filling was tasty and just about the right amount. I wouldn't mind eating this on a regular basis.More
