We were regulars at People's Palace from its old Malate days to the move to Greenbelt until we moved from Manila in 2015. We came back into town for a visit last year and our first dinner outing had to be back at People's Palace. From the ever kind manager, Krystal, greeting us and making our family comfortable, remembering us so well, to the fabulous food and drink that followed (we ordered so many items: Veggie Pad Thai and Veggie Spring rolls for me, yummy pork with morning glory, chicken satay for the kids, the best ever Pomelo salad, my husband's favorite beef curry and more). We love that while there were a few additions to the menus our long-time favorites remained the same and costs were similar to 2015 prices it seemed. We went back at least two more times during our two week holiday because we loved it all so much and can't wait to get back to People's Palace during our next visit to Manila!

My dad and I visited here last December 2021. We made a reservation before going here. I loved the outdoor setting and the courtesy and attentiveness displayed by the servers. Our server made sure that the sauces served to us were not that spicy. I sincerely appreciated that gesture. Food is on the expensive side but filling. If you have lots of space in your food budget and you're craving for Thai cuisine, this place is a must visit.

We've eaten here regularly and whether it's at lunchtime or dinner, the food is always very tasty and well presented.
It can get a bit cramped on times but that's testament to the reputation of this restaurant.
Reasonable value for money.
Staff are friendly, helpful and patient.

I keep saying this and I will continue to say until somebody listens to me good restaurant can be destroyed by staff that do not speak or understand English when serving English speaking customers. The food is good, hygiene is good, everything else about this place is good what brings it down is staffed I cannot speak English to English speaking customers. When will restaurant owners finally realise It’s much better to spend a few extra dollars on staff and get good staff that speak good clear English?

It was one of our favorite restaurants, and I went back a couple of times in the past year, hoping to recreate the great meals we had in the past. While the waiters have maintained the standard that always impressed us, sadly the kitchen has failed miserably to do so. The food has none of the flavor of good Thai dishes, they have skimped on the ingredients, and the plating is careless. The chicken and holy basil, for example, is somehow sweet now (oyster sauce?) and the chicken has been pushed to the side by an upturned cup of rice with a fried egg slapped on top. I have decided never to return.

After my first experience in this restaurant, I had only one wish... Going Back! The food quality, execution and presentation is just fantastic and very consistent. Some all time favorites: Thom Yum Goong, Prawn pomelo chicken and coconut salad, Pad Thai, Green chicken curry, Chicken in pandan leaves and Stir-fried prawns. During my last visit I also tried the Affogado Al Café... A fabulous mix of flavors after a healthy meal!

Ambiance was spot on. Food and drinks menu was extensive enough. Specialising in Thai cuisine, which tastes good by the way. The salad , meat , curry and everything else felt and tasted what I sort of expected. Lastly , service was attentive. Positive energy vibes by the staff made me give it a 5 star rating.

This restaurant had the reputation of being the best Thai restaurant, however there is only one way from the top and that's down. Its only subtle things making the changes, like the quality of the meat and other ingredients.
What was particularly annoying was a table with Europeans, who had 3 teenagers who insisted on chasing each other around the tables, one riding a scooter in the restaurant, it was only when I complained to security that they were asked to stop, the parents did nothing and the restaurant staff did nothing until I complained. Scared of upsetting the foreigners I guess.
The cost of a glass of ordinary wine from an opened bottle was exorbitant, p480/ glass. After dining her for many years we will now look for an alternative .

Let me start by saying the flavours at this restaurant are amazing.
I have been dining here for years but the portion sizes have got smaller and smaller and the prices higher and higher.
Whilst the food is good it doesnt offer good value any more with small serving sizes and prices so high.
There is another Thai Restaurant neatrby that offers much better value and better portion sizes.

This has been one of our go to Thai Restaurants in Makati for a many years.
We returned and had the catfish in mango and crying tiger beef.
Both dishes were amazing in flavour but portions are small and expensive.
It’s a very busy restaurant so best to book.

I have visited Peoples Palace since before the CCP virus 2020. Food and service has always been "Spot On". Last night was no exception. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service and again great food. The only thing I miss is that back in 2020 they would bring you out a hot spice tray so that you could put the heat to your food as desired. We had the red curry, crispy belly pork and aromatic vegetable curry. I asked for the red curry to be extra spicy, but still not enough for my liking-still a very good eats-I just like HOT.

We ordered a full range of appetizers which were excellent, I had my normal green chicken curry which was not up to past standards . Normally chicken pieces would be mouth size but now were large chunks, and instead of being succulent chicken it was tough, dry and tasteless . Obviously they have used a cheaper cut , That was a disappointment as it used to be my favorite dish. For desert we ordered the Pavlova which was excellent.

Very disappointing. No longer trying to be authentic Thai Food. Every dish was laced in oyster sauce. Far from its previous stature as a great Thair Restaurant, Very poor service 3 times follow up for a stir fry dish that literally takes 30 seconds to prepare. Wait staff unconcerned. Won't go back aain.

This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant in Metro Manila. In fact, it used to be one of my favorite restaurants period. Not anymore.
I had probably the most basic dishes: green curry chicken and mangoes with sticky rice. One of the things I used to appreciate was the quality of rice and the care in cooking it. No more. The chicken was dry and tough. The dish suffered from a paucity of vegetables. The dessert also suffered from low quality rice. It was decidedly mediocre.
The cocktail was nice.
