Great food and fast orders. The pork buns and everything were so good and very authentic. The staff are also accomodating and friendly. Will go back soon!

The quality and flavor of the food did not disappoint. Beancurd skin roll w/shrimp, Braised soup HK style w/mushroom & shredded chicken, Spinach & shrimp dumpling, and Wasabi Prawn dumpling. All spot on
I lived in the South and good brisk walk from my Ayala office would always bring me to Glorietta 3. And enticing is the iconic Chinese-themed restaurant called Tim Ho Wan, it is not that grand or super fantastic, by the way, it earned a...Michelin Star for a Restaurant, not Avant-garde. It's the food honey, dim sum, noodles if you loved Ramen-like, and it's not pricey at all, a P300 package would calm an annoyed tummy. It's worth the trip before heading home.More
Small bites with michelin rank! I like the prawn dumpling, bean curd skin roll w/ pork & shrimp, baked bun..ohh get two of those! Line can get long and seating capacity is small so maybe do a to-go it might be faster.
If you want good dimsum food, this is the place to go. Although it is always full and you have to wait, waiting time is fast and turnover of tables is quick.
I was eager to try this Michelin-starred dim sum restaurant out of Hong Kong during my visit to Manila. It was delicious dim sum but not as good as the best dim sum places in San Francisco and Vancouver, BC I’ve dined at. Don’t get...me wrong - they serve fabulous dim sum here. I just have a very high standard when it comes to dim sum. They make your dim sum to order here. There are no dim sum carts. I was the only person in the restaurant so that may be the reason there were no carts. However, they definitely made my dim sum fresh to order. It was wonderfully delicious and fresh. If you’re ever in Manila and craving authentic dim sum this would be an excellent choice.More
I like the food here, this is the best of dimsum food i was ate in makati. But the problems is so crown and too much people
The quality of food here is a far cry from its namesake in HK. I was disappointed. It’s a poor attempt at trying to recreate a famous eatery originating from HK. I will give it a miss.
This Michellin Starred restaurant is absolutely fantastic! It has a dim sum theme in the menu which I love. When I visited HK back in 2011, I was not able to try it but I’m glad that they have a few branches in the PH....My daughter and I ordered their famous Pork buns, Prawn Dumplings and Poach Fresh Green in Oyster sauce. The pork buns were phenomenal. I’ve never tasted something like that before. The prawn dumplings too were delicious and the green vegetable with oyster sauce were fresh, a bit crunchy and was not bitter at all. Everything was perfectly cooked. To top it off the price is VERY affordable. We sometimes think that quality food comes with a price but this is definitely budget friendly and worth it. All praises to this restaurant!More
As an expert on Chinese cuisine, whilst in manila I was dying for dim sum and we decided to try this so called Michellin star establishment at Glorietta. We ordered the famous baked bun with bbq pork - this dish could have been so perfect...if it was served hot and not Luke warm. We then tried the turnip cake - just outstanding !. the vermicelli roll with shrimp, the pork dumpling, the beef ball with bean curd skin and won ton soup were all delicious and at the correct temperature. Overall pleasant dining experience just let down by the temperature of their signature dish.More
Loved the tofu dish and the desserts were so delicious....each one of them. We got a few decent veg options which was great.
The dimsum selection is not wide, choices are limited to classics (pork and shrimp dumpling, prawn hakaw, glutinous rice) - but very good on taste! Really good quality at very reasonable price. The best bonus of the day is the very helpful and attentive staff...- service with a smile, they remember your order, and proactively gives the service and attention you need.More
It can be considered as a good place to go in PH, but not as good as in Hong Kong. And the taste seems to be not as good as they just opened
Waited a bit to be seated, since all tables are occupied. Order and service are swift. Baked Bun with BBQ pork is one of the best dimsums they have. If you want some rice, spare ribs goes well it. Vermicelli and Shrimp dumplings are also...delightful. Before we know it, we are able to finish everything.More
If you're looking for quick eats but truly satisfying, Tim Ho Wan is for you. Their dimsum is the best and their dips and spices (soy sauce, vinegar and chilli) actually complement their recipe. Their rice and noodle meals area also worth coming back to....No wonder I'd see the same faces every time I visit the place for lunch or dinner. Would have been better if they offer Chinese beer as they pair best with dimsum but their jasmine and oolong teas are enough.More
