Great people friendly and helpful
During our accommodation at Fairmont Makati, their main restaurant (Spectrum) was closed for renovation. My wife and I looked for an alternative dining option inside the hotel and luckily for us we found this cafe. Although technically a cafe, this one serves sandwiches and salads...which for light dinner eaters like us is just perfect. We tried their smoked salmon sandwich and their Aragula salad with apple and feta cheese. It was delicious. Highly recommended for guests of Fairmont Makati.More
The stylish Café Macaron is at the same time café, bakeshop and part of the Fairmont lobby. It offers an interesting selection of cakes and pralinés, and, most importantly, very good coffee. It helped us a long way to overcome our jetlag and also a...certain fatigue, caused by Fairmont's famous Sunday Brunch. Recommendable for everyone who likes a shot of caffeine and of carbohydrates, both out of the ordinary (which, of course, also applies to the prices...).More
Got a metrodeal voucher at 40% off not bad
The quezo de bola and calamansi macarons are the best.
The coffee didn't taste so good
Good experience over all
Didn't try the food, it was just over the budget
Every time I stay in Fairmont I never miss to get some pastries. Their donuts are my favorites and my friends love it too. Like just any hotel resto, their prices are more expensive as compared to the usual pastry shop.
Since the AC is...still under repair, I wouldn't recommend to that you dine in as it is really warm.
Their macaroons are tasty too. I love the red velvet flavor. The rest of the more flavors are not bad as well. Staff has good customer service but there was a time when I ordered an americano but they gave me a latte so they had to re-do my order.More
We took our coffee break at the Cafe Macaron.. The staffs are very accommodating to guests. They have very good and relaxing sofa. I recommend this hotel to you readers! High quality products and service over medium price.
We were a party of three and we all ordered pastrami sandwiches and onion soup for lunch. The onion soup was so salty it wasn't even palatable. The restaurant manager took notice of this immediately and did not charge us for the soup. The highlight...of the meal was the quality of the pastrami. It was very good and the taste was flavorful. Warning though to those expecting a NY style deli sandwich. The cafe does not use the usual rye bread, they use ciabatta or they offer sliced wheat bread as an alternative. A side of garlic mayo is offered however we had to ask for horse radish. For those expecting a typical size pastrami sandwich, the portion of the meat was not even a fourth of a regular NY deli pastrami sandwich which granted, is humongous. Order a couple sandwiches and you'll be good to go.More
Came here for chai latte and to try the french macarons, i bought a box of 10 and it did not disappoint. They were so good, i went back to buy 5 more boxes to give as gifts. My fave is the chocolate muscovado. Their...doussants were huge and so yummy! Doussants are available at 10am and they only make a certain number per day. Also tried their ensaymada and a couple of sandwiches. The staff are very polite and helpful. Will go back on my next trip to manila.More
It was a great experience, overall! I was with my friends when we visited the outlet and it was a surprise that they were actually launching a new product which is the "doussant" that was popularly known nowadays as "cronuts". We had the raspberry, pistachio...and cinnamon flavor but what I like the most is the cinnamon because of the lightness of its sweetness. Then just two weeks ago I went there to try the honey glaze and I HAVE A NEW FAV!! Right sweetness but the only thing that I don't like about those was it's a little oily so I hope they can do something about it. Is it possible to just bake those just to make it more healthy :-) But above all love dining in at fairmont's cafe macaron :-)More
While staying at Raffles, every morning I would visit Cafe Macaron to get some work done and have a latte or coffee. The cafe is wonderful, everything I have had there is fantastic. The environment is a great place to work in. Definitely try the...macaron cookies as well, definitely worth it. The staff is always wonderful, friendly and helpful.More
