Actually I shouldn‘t write this, because then more folks would come to this gorgeous place, but it’s a sensual experience really! Everything makes you feel as if you’re in Japan right away, the awful tasting food, friendly and professional service, the wonderful interior design. A...must go definitely!More
When quality ingredients, craftsmanship and consistency are intertwined, the customer simply, wins. Sashimi - 7 types, outstanding as always. One can also appreciate the re-creation of the decorative Japanese garnish/es that give one that restaurant feel while dining at home.
What a lovely surprise to know that our fav Japanese resto is open for takeout (also, dine-in). We celebrated today by order the sashimi (7 kinds of seafood) and the Tonkatsu Bento. Simply... OUTSTANDING food!
The food was was authentic and the menu was extensive. Unfortunately I visited this restaurant during the dine-in period where the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing. As as result I cannot rate the ambiance, service as you normally can do when a restaurant is in...normal operation. But the quality of the food is there, so I will be coming backMore
Been enjoying Seryna for over a decade and attesting to its qualitative notch above the rest, just look at the discerning diner market - locals and Japanese (the latter always a verifiable mark). Lunch bentos are incredibly good value. We had the sashimi and fried...sauri respective choices plus spicy tuna roll and Hayashi Somen. Simply put - each and all, excellent!More
A really great dining experience with amazing Japanese selections. The shashimi was cut perfectly and the the selection of fresh fish was very impressive. Everything that was brought to our table was top notch and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I do recommend...making a reservation for dinner as it pretty busy spot. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Manila!More
Best sushi place that I’ve been to in the Philippines. Highly recommended. But, make your reservation before going because they are usually packed.
Good traditional Japanese food in a restaurant packed with Japanese clientele. On my recommended list.
the saikoro steak here is to die for the sashimi are all fresh . unlike some other jap restos service is quick too well recommended
The Seryna is a very well established Japanese restaurant in Chino Roces. It’s one of several Japanese restaurants in an area that resembles little Japan. But this restaurant stands out in terms of quality of food and service. Their menu is very comprehensive and complete...as one would expect of a good Japanese restaurant. We savoured an assortment of very fresh sashimis, sushis, tempura and barbecued fish and washed it all down with sake !!! Highly recommended and well worth a visit for authentically good Japanese food !More
The sushi is the best I’ve had in Manila, not quite Japan quality, but close. The salmon roll is really something. But what is the problem with the blank-faced waitresses??? Our group spent $100 USD, you’d think they could be bothered to smile?! Would be...five stars if they fired the grim staff. Also the area is not good, didn’t exactly feel safe walking there.More
I came across this restaurant on tripadvisor whilst searching for a decent sushi/japanese restaurant nearby my accomodation in Makati. Luckily this place was only a 5 minute walk away so we decided to go for it. When we arrived we were immediately greeted and seated...by the lovely waitress and taken very good care of. The tables and chairs are very comfortable and cosy, and the overall decor and ambience of the restaurant is wonderful. We ordered a variety of sushi, tempura and hot noodles with tofu and everything was absolutely delicious. I always find the sign of a decent restaurant is a nice light tempura batter, which it really was. The sushi rice was perfectly cooked and well balanced, and the noodles were delicious and clearly made in-house to a high standard. It is slightly more expensive than your standard japanese restaurant but very much worth it. Enjoy!More
Friendly reception. Comfortable interior. Relaxed atmosphere. Good choice of meals. Fast and friendly service. Excellent food. Everything was as expected. Decently priced. Recommended. Will definitely return.
Good quality, fresh sashimi, but the assorted nigiri set was a bit of disappointment - the maki and the egg was poorly done and tasted like they were pre-made. I would recommend the grilled eel donburi though it’s quite expensive. The staff was not that...friendly. Overall, it’s a safe option to go for but it didn’t wow me either.More
