A Friday night out at the new (re-opened) Hard Rock Cafe

They just opened (again) in Makati and Hard rock did not disappoint us. Since my friend stayed in Makati area we looked for a bar where we can chill or party then she stumbles on a pop up ad in the internet that Hard rock cafe in Glorietta just re-opened last Feb 13, 2020 and thought of trying it out again. They have a table charge of Php190 as there will be a band playing with an 80s theme. It was a fun night. The kudos love 80s band was great so table carge was not an issue at all. the servers are awesome that they sang and dance with the band which encourages people to dance with them. I commend our server, Karen as she is full of energy, vibrant and attentive. My friend and I enjoyed her company and service towards us. Another server Loti is so much fun as well, she always dance and greet the customers with a huge smile. Food are delish as well and drinks are not that expensive. If you are around Makati or just want to party try out the re-opened Hard rock cafe in Glorietta. 👍💯

Overpriced and waste of time.

This is my first time in Hard Rock Cafe Philippines, the experience wasn't good. We arrived around 6:00 PM but then they told us there would be a 500Php door entrance from 7:00 PM. I replied, what time is it? The next question is are you going to watch the live band? We said no, just for dinner. I don't get it! We ordered food and drinks. It was a really disappointment experience to dine in. The menu looked appetizing but when they served us it was really really far from what in the menu. The taste is just bland. They have Gambas Al Ajillo oh my never again.

Surf and Turf Burger

This is your sign to eat a BURGER. 🍔 This is a Surf and Turf Burger from @hardrockcafemanila 🤤Sulit for the price kasi mesherep talaga and naka 50% every Fri-Sun w/ @thebistrogroup 🥳 This is somewhat spicy due to the shrimp, but manageable kahit na I'm a non-spicy ferson. With fries on the side as well. 🍟 The burger bun is kinda crispy on the outside, but really soft on the inside. 🍔

Great Atmosphere with Awesome Live Music

I have been to Hard Rock Cafe Makati so many times so I feel I am well qualified to give my opinion. I find some of the very negative reviews very harsh especially regarding the food. Let's face it you are not visiting a 5 star michelin restaurant here so the expectations should be in my opinion just for good honest Pub food which I feel the place certainly delivers on having dined there on numerous occassions The service generally speaking is extremely good in a very friendly fun atmosphere. One negative from preventing to give five stars is on a number of occasions the beer is just not cold enough which is not acceptable in my opinion for a place like this in a warm climate. This is not the fault of the staff as the management need to address this Now by far the main reason why I visit here on so many occasions is the amazing live music from resident band Bluegrass. I don't care where you go in the world to listen to live music but the greater majority of live bands in the world could honestly not hold a candle to Bluegrass and all my friends who have visited here all agree. Everyone in the band is totally on top of their game and master musicians and they deliver their craft in a lively and friendly atmosphere genuinely caring that the audience have a fantastic night. Their singing is amazing especially from Sharon and her husband Frankie is clearly a world class quality guitarist ! Well done Bluegrass you make this place an amazing experience always !

Not great. Food was great.

I would have rated 3 stars but that said was standard and this HR is not. Food was great and served quick. No rewards will be given here as manager informed staff not yet. Charge for band after 8pm as per staff but we were told only the day before for Halloween but tonight they said always a cover charge of 250 to 500 pesos after 8 pm even when eating. $5-10usd per guest or child. Small room. It much to look at. A few guitars and an autographed Madonna t shirt and a few other things. Overall great music made the experience good but being kicked out while eating not a great thing.

Great band night at Glorietta Makati

Newly reopened and restarted HRC MAKATI is becoming the goto evening place in Glorietta area. The staff (Shela, Jane and all) are awesome. The band selection for every night is great. Of course, the food is tips as always. Even kids are having fun there. Well done.

Fun Dance Night

Everyone had the chance to dance and the servers are very accommodating. Having a lead dancer rlly encouraged ppl to dance, including me. And the servers seemed to actually have fun while theyre working so the vibes were rlly fun n fresh yet the service was still A+

Food & Service OK but Overpriced.

We went there for a light lunch and a drink, very quiet however we were early. What can I say except the food and drinks were excellent, though in comparison to other restaurants in walking distance, hugely overpriced. The Rock Shop was terrible, everything you looked at was out of stock. Go if you are a fan (we are) but do not count on it being the top 3 best you have experienced.

Arrived at 8pm for a quick dinner. Door charge? Maybe it covers the warm Coke Zero can? There are so many great places to eat in Makati. I guess I was curious to see how the Hard Rock franchise has developed. It hasn’t. I was going to leave and not order, but my warm drink had arrived. Not my best idea. But…. The staff are really good. Working to create a vibe, but it’s loud do music. Nothing amazing

What used to be the worlds best Hard Rock ruined

What did you do to the worlds best shard Rock ? This place used to have live rock music (the clue is in the name). Now we’ve got gay dancers in front of the heavily synthesised group that’s playing. The men’s toilets are a no go area as well if you’re straight. Hard Rock Makati spawned Arnel Pineda. That will never happen again. I’m absolutely disgusted. Service was great, food was ok.

Disappointing experience

The last time I was here was pre-Covid. I went out looking for it & I must confess it's a shadow of its former self. Once a very welcome space and a place to go, is a depressing place not to mention the food also presented not very appealing. Plenty of other options elsewhere in the vicinity. Oh if you sit beyond 7:50 pm you have to pay for the band (covered charge even if you are only there for the dinner).

Hard Rock Cafe With Live Music!!!

Great Evening at the new HRC Makati. Walked in about 10:30pm which worked out perfectly as there was a live band playing with a cover charge that includes a complimentary drink. I had dinner with dessert, listening to a great band called Blue Grass, and had a good time until the end of their final set with an encore song. Stayed until almost midnight. Excellent service, tasty food and an all-around good time! By the last set the band had almost everyone in the restaurant singing along, including a few servers and kitchen staff. I had my long-time favorite Original Legendary Burger, so much enjoyed it very much while I downed it with a refreshing cold iced tea. For dessert, I opted for a New York Cheesecake. Delicious. Prices aren't cheap, but keep in mind you're paying for the fantastic live entertainment and atmosphere along with great foods and wines, majority of which is imported. My server, Livia, was super friendly and service was very good. Didn’t wait too long for my cheeseburger, drink option were laid out clearly. Even though I wasn’t in the mood to drink, she offered Coke Zero or iced tea. I’ll come back again. Will be back soon!

Greasy, overpriced and so-so service

The food is disappointing and over priced - heart attack waiting to happen. The service is so-so, nothing to be impressed about. The food is dripping in oil/grease. My husband’s burger was so cold that the cheese wont even melt anymore, the bun seems to be a day-old (cold, dry and hard). We ordered calamari salad, and what arrived is the oiliest calamari we have ever seen, not a salad at all. I ordered a flatbread, same story with the rest of the food - very greasy and cold.
