We were a group of 8 out-of-towners who came without reservations but the staff instantly set us up in a long table. We had heard of the good reputation of this place and ordered the classics. The sinigang was just as sour and tarty as...More

This Sentro restaurant, located in Greenbelt 3 in Makati, serves very delicious Filipino dishes. Our group particularly like their lechon kawali, kare-kare, fried squid with toasted garlic (a must try), adobong kangkong among others. Desserts were equally good. Try their buko sherbet (which is not...More

This was our third time dining in this restaurant and was very disappointed. The first time (4 years ago) was good, the second time was ok (2 years ago and I didn't get to write a review), and this third time (and third time in...More

On the first floor of Greenbelt, this is the place to go for authentic food. Well priced and with attentive service. They do takeaway too.

I eat here almost every time I am in Manila. The good is good and representative of both traditional and ‘ fusion-ish’ Filipino cuisine. My only issue is they have such poor ventilation in the restaurant, I don’t have to tell my family what I...More

This spot offers classic and inventive takes on Filipino food. I've taken many friends who are visiting abroad and they've always enjoyed it here. Favorites in the menu include the Corned Beef Sinigang, crispy crablets and gambas.

It has been awhile since I last dined at Sentro and revisiting the Restaurant introduced me to some delicious new dishes. Their corned beef sinigang is still a winner but I loved the GG as well (deep frief galunggong fillets with garlic) and the Chicken...More

The place was quiet and conducive for any type of meeting. Ordered their gambas and the shrimp was fresh and had a good crunch. A little too spicy for me but that's ok. Some people like it that way. Had their grilled salmon and it...More

Description
Launched in Greenbelt 3 in 2002, Sentro 1771 revolutionized Filipino cuisine by introducing the modern Filipino cuisine experience. Sentro was the first to break the boundaries found in time-honored and familiar homegrown recipes by infusing them with a delectably sophisticated and cosmopolitan dimension. Using only the finest ingredients from both here and abroad along with a deep understanding of various traditional Filipino dishes, Sentro 1771 has reinvented many local favorites. It has preserved these dishes’ many layers of taste and flavor while constantly adding something new and exciting to the mix. Undeniably, the dish that put Sentro 1771 on the map is its famous Corned Beef Sinigang - using our own corned beef cured in-house for 3-5 days. Other hits include our Rated GG, which has turned the humble galunggong into a sophisticated and flavorful dish; and Keso Flan, a delightful Filipino twist on the traditional cheesecake served with salted egg and queso de bola.
