Ramen & Karaage set, and Takoyaki My son loved the ramen and the karaage. Takoyaki is good. Its just that its cook yourself. The waitress left us already with the oil. Good thing the other waitress rescued our takoyaki . But overall it we enjoyed...the food and the experienceMore

Good food, fair for the price. Serving for the rice bowls were generous. Service was okay. Would definitely return whenever I want to have Japanese food without spending too much.

It was my first time here and I thought everything served was fantastic! from their hot tea to all the plated dishes and desserts. Kenshin is worth spending your hard-earned money if you're craving for anything Japanese. Here's what we ordered: BEEF SUKIYAKI, KATSU CURRY...RICE, KINOKO BUTTER, & MIX FRY. My friend and I initially thought that we ordered too much, but it turns out, we finished everything with no effort! here's what we think about their food, and why you should visit this place: 1. BEEF SUKIYAKI - Really flavorful! the beef was so tender, the broth, noodles, vegetables, raw egg, and all other toppings complimented the overall balance of this hot plate dish, no ingredient was overpowering, and if you love beef, you SHOULD try this. I will definitely order their Beef Sukiyaki again on my next visit. 2. KATSU CURRY RICE - One of the best katsu curry rice bowls I've ever tasted. The curry was thick, earthy, deep, with just the right seasoning and hint of spice. The Katsu was perfectly fried and very tender. An instant favorite! 3. KINOKO BUTTER - If you love mushrooms, then this has to be on your next order. Also perfectly seasoned and sauteed on a hot plate, this sizzling dish will hit all the right spots in your mushroom checklist. 4. MIX FRY - Just like how I loved their Katsu, Kenshin's Mix Fry also did not disappoint! this is a combination of fresh seafood deep-fried until golden brown and served with two sauces. I forgot the names of the sauces but they sure made the already good tempuras even better. The only part of this visit that we did not like is the slowness of service. The restaurant only had 2 female servers (went here on a Sunday night for dinner) and the place was full! many had to follow up their bills, their change, orders, and we didn't escape that fate. Good thing their food was good! Will still recommend and will go back soon!More

Food is great so is the service. Attentive staff and friendly. Price is very reasonable for the food they serve. Tasty with generous portions. They have a good choice of side dishes (which taste good) and mains. Curry udon and Ramen are some of my...favourites. Great ambience and comfortable.More

Kenshin is situated at the ground floor of Linear Tower along Yakal St, makati. Parking is an issue, you may ask the building guard to be allowed to park in the residential allocation. Food is good, they have well flavored japanese food and the serving...size is good, might be good for two at times. They offer a make your own takoyaki at around 300pesos. Its a fun experience. Making takoyaki is not easy!!! They have promos ongoing, just read on the tabletop. They also have an unli beer promo at night.More

A great find hidden at the G/F of The Linear Makati. Serves affordable and authentic Japanese dishes. Must try their chix karaage, takoyaki balls, Gyudon bowl, Tuna sashimi and Katsu curry. Parking is free... Not a joke even if this resto is in Makati. 😉

My go-to orders here are their Philadelphia Roll, Tonkotsu Ramen, Ebi Tempura, and Katsu Curry. I love their food and I can tell that it tastes legit because they have a lot of Japanese patrons as well. Their service needs a lot of improvement though....I've had so many experiences here with servers not talking to us at all and just simply handing us out the menu or the bill without saying anything or even frowning. The firsr time I experienced this, I assumed that the server was just tired. But I eat here a lot (since it's super near my place) and the service is consistent. I am always polite to service personnels in any hotel/restaurant I visit hence I expect them to do the same as well. I hope Kenshin can work on this area because their food is great! 😉More

Ate there first time last Friday with some friends from office. I like the ambiance. Waiting time for food to be served is just right. I like the food in general but nothing really outstanding. Seafood teppan is just like a full plate of togue...with tidbits of seafood. You've got to find where the seafood are. However, I like it that the staff is friendly and I like it that they have a promo of just take a picture, post on social media with their hashtag then you get a free iced tea or coffee jelly. Price is reasonable. Nothing extraordinary except for the staff.More
