Before trying Ooma for the first time, friend and I made sure to check reviews and bestsellers to make the most out of our budget and cravings. We tried out Garlic Steak, Tamago and Cheese roll[6], and Mixed: Crowd Favorites[12] (Spicy tuna, ebi tempura, Aburi...steak with truffle oil, and Salmon skin). We had 18 sushis in all plus the steak. Sushi. Liked all except ebi tempura, not because it was bland, but because we found it was your average tasting sushi. You know that taste you expect from a normal kani sushi or basic cali maki? That's what it was. My friend ranked Spicy tuna as her no. 1 - just enough spiciness along with generous tuna and sauce. My no. 1 was the salmon because of the crunchiness in the middle that went well with the softness of the rice and fish. Aburi steak was good, with a smoky taste and easy to chew meat. Tamago and cheese roll was quite an experience. You'd hardly notice the taste and texture of the egg because of so much cheese, but that made the dish juicy - yeah i know odd adjective to use but it was damn bursting small amounts of liquid in your mouth with your first bite. Yummy but not something I can eat plenty of. My friend enjoyed it though being a cheese lover. Garlic Steak. Do you remember that scene in Ratatouille where a grape and piece of cheese were eaten individually and it was good enough, but eating both at the same time caused a fusion of flavors that was a delight? This is what Garlic steak was for me. The individual pieces were delicious enough but each complimented the other so well that eating them together was divine. Oyster mushrooms, crispy garlic, teppanyaki sauce, cauliflower mash, and a vegetable i forgot... all blended well. Steak was so tender too. We were full and satisfied when we were finished. Staff was accommodating and quick to respond to requests. They also gave an estimated time when dishes would come to set our expectations. They offered hot house tea, which was barley, and we got those to go perfectly before and after the meal. Overall, real good experience in Ooma.More

Good Japanese food is pretty expensive and very average in London unless you go incredibly high end. That's why I love coming to Manila and eating in as many Ooma branches as I can fit into a trip! Lovely casual setting and consistently great food...at a wonderful price. Pictures below of our food. Soft shell crab, prawan tempura, chicken teriyaki, rice bowls and a few othersMore

Shoutout to our server, Andre, for providing great service to me and my friend last weekend! Food's always delicious at ooma if you're into Japanese staples like sushi, sashimi, and donburi. I honestly don't mind splurging on a bottle of sake every time I dine...here. Worth it. Cheers!More

Simple & elegantly presented food. Food & service is great. Could get busy during lunch & dinner on weekends. They have nontraditional Japanese menu & all dishes we've tried was quite tasty.. recommending the uni udon.

Food is somewhat different from traditional japanese cuisines. They put twist to their makis. We like everything we ordered. Service is excellent. Though the restaurant was full that night, the food were served promptly.

Get the hangar steak, gyoza, and tempura!! These 3 are my fool proof recommendations for anyone going for the first time. Sadly no salmon or tuna sashimi on the menu, but they have uni sashimi and a wide selection of sushi.

The shrimps that I had here were just out of the world. Never ever tasted anything like that before or after. The best Japanese restaurant ever that I have visited so far. The location as well suits it well. It is mostly brimming with customer...for the same reason.More
