I've been to Ming's Garden since the early 2000. That time, the place only had a small area for dining because it focuses more on flowers, plants, and greenhouses. I enjoy visitng this place because it's relaxing. When I went here recently, I was surprised that it had become an events place. Here are my thoughts:
1. The restaurant area became wider than before. It's not airconditioned but it was cool enough because of the Tagaytay breeze.
2. Parking wasn't a hassle for a Sunday brunch.
3. Place is nice to take pictures though I like the garden before.
4. Menu was revamped but I still like it. I enjoyed Lechon Kawaii with Laing and Beef Caldereta. The beef was tender and the sauce was good. It didn't taste like those commercialized sauces in pouches and the spiciness and sweetness blended well together. Though I hope they cooked the potatoes little more.
I enjoyed eating their Bibingka. It's not the typical bibingka that is sweet and savory because of the salted egg. It also has cheese and muscovado sugar on the side. Perfect for their brewed coffee.
5. Staff are nice and very courteous.
6. Place is clean.
7. It's not as crowded compared to other popular places in Tagaytay.
8. You can roam around, look at the flowers, take pictures without the busyness of Tagaytay proper.
9. There is also a Pasalubong store which has products that are not available to other pasalubong stores.
10. Place gives you a breath of fresh air probably because of the trees, plants, and flowers.
I plan to go back here to try more of their dishes. Also I saw that they also offer buko pie, use pie, and peach pie. This is a collaboration with Platefuly Buko Pie.

Recently had a lunch date w my mom at Ming's, because she loves plants. We had Bagnet Kare Kare, and it was perfectly delicious like really good that we had to bring home what's left as the serving is a lot for the two of us..the other gaya veggie dish was yummy as well. But what was really nice was I was able to have back my badminton racket which I forgot 5months ago the last time I dined in with my friends. Thanks to the staff of Ming's. And to the Guard also who made sure to hand us an umbrella as it was a bit raining. We appreciate it a lot. Thank you.

The ambience was very relaxing and peaceful.
The food selection was exquisite! Especially the desserts.
The manager (Mr. Brian Tomulto) was very warm and professional. Even our server (Kuya Arthur) was so kind and accommodating.
Kudos to the team for an excellent service.
Thank you for the great dining experience.
All the best! 🤍

My wife and I stopped for lunch today and were thoroughly disappointed. The facility is beautiful and the service is adequate, but the food was mundane at best. My wife had a Filipino Beefsteak that was more gristle and sauce the meat. I ordered a pork stew (Filipino) and was served a wash basin sized bowl of water and vinegar with a few pieces of fat and vegetables floating in it.
I applaud them for staying open during the pandemic, but the quality of food served will do nothing to maintain their reputation.

Since January 6 falls on Monday we opted to celebrate a day in advance to the while fam can join we are a small family.
The place is big and spacious. The food is ok. The children wants yangchow style rice, but they serve plain rice only and per cup din.
Anyway we enjoy the ambience.

The food was very good, and they were able to accommodate our vegetarian and vegan requests. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Ambiance was good with plants and trees around.

we held a business meeting here over brunch. all the dishes we ordered were delectable, reasonably priced, big servings and well presented.
the surrounding lush garden shielded us from the humidity brought about by the scorching heat during the late morning.
good food and good company make you appreciate life even more.

My family had a sumptuous lunch in ming's restaurant, it was a thursday not too much guests and we enjoyed not only the food but also the place. It is not an airconditioned restaurant, but the ambience, the greeneries and the weather makes it really a wonderful, relaxing lunch. Not to mention the warm and accomodating staff.. Its our first time but definitely not the last...

We always see Ming's Garden driving by between Santa Rosa and Tagaytay. Today we decided to take our out-of-town guest there for lunch. The food was excellent, mostly traditional Filipino dishes but somehow a little above average in quality and presentation. The restaurant is in a beautiful garden setting (it's actually a garden store, selling plants). It's a little noisy, being close to the highway, but I would heartily recommend it for good Filipino food in a garden-like setting.

This is the ultimate hidden gem of Tagaytay and the next big hit for wedding destination in the area. A lot has changed over the past year!!!
Available are Private function areas from intimate spaces to the Carefully planned Greenhouse that can host up to 300 pax of guest.
Escape the busy streets of the metro and drive over to Tagaytay. Check out their inhouse restaurant, Mozu at Ming's and enjoy Filipino dishes like youve never tried before
P.S.
Don't miss out on their Frozen Brazo de Mercedes. Melts in your mouth dessert that is truly to die for! :)

Great Filipino dishes with its distinctive taste. The cool Tagaytay breeze creates a relaxing atmosphere with the open air layout of the restaurant and green garden landscape. Conveniently located along the highway with ample parking spaces.

The restaurant is open on 2 sides, and the day we visited was very hot with very little wind. I am not sure if there is an enclosed eating area available closer to the kitchen.
The flies seemed to appreciate the food as so many were were buzzing around (what do you expect if you eat outside?). The place was clean, staff polite and cheerful and the food fairly ordinary. I would not want to eat here again.

The prominent sign of Ming's Garden every time we go to Tagaytay made me curious enough to try the restaurant. It's along the Tagaytay-Sta. Rosa road and is not difficult to miss. The restaurant is open air, with a small portion of which enclosed. The garden is at the back of the restaurant and plants are in individual seedling pouches, which I presume are for sale. There was ample parking (probably for around 20 cars) and a small playground. We tried their longanisa breakfast meal which was good, and reasonably priced. Their menu featured local dishes which were good for groups of 3 to 4 people. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, mostly because of the cool Tagaytay breeze. Their clean and interesting ladies room caps off the pleasant dining experience we had. But I do have to come back to try other items in the menu.
